And why did you keep reading once you knew you didn't like it?

cab: Hi. I did think about changing the bloodlines of Ron and Minerva, but decided against it. Minerva is a pureblood and Slytherin as well, still sorted into the house, so that makes her a little more acceptable than say, Draco, who is a Gryffindor. Ron is also a pureblood in Slytherin, though his lineage is questionable. Purebloods are looked down upon, but some are respected by the students because of their traits. Minerva might be a pureblood, but she's a Slytherin through and through who commands the respect of her students. No doubt she's fried a few of them to insure they stay respectful. But I primarily kept Minerva a pureblood because of her association with AU Dumbledore. It would make sense he'd have a pureblood spy rather than a halfblood, who might switch alliances. But, we did think along the same lines. I just chose not to do it. Thanks for commenting.

I love this story, as I have loved all of your other stories. I just have one thought. Wouldn't it be better for Minerva to be a half-blood in the alternate world? Having a pureblood as the Head of House for a house that completely and utterly hates purebloods just doesn't fit with the plot. What do you think?

I loved this chapter and I hope that the alternate Hermione's rebellion is successful.

I love your story and I'm always so happy when I log on and see and update. Thanks for writing and updating so quickly.
