    LMAO!

I have to admit I wasn't much surprised by anything until Snape was horrified and marked for life over the experience. (snerk) What a crafty Slytherin!

I knew Malfoy was up to no good, and that they Gryffs would probably succumb, being men. LOL!

    Well done!

Oh my! I've seen Bartok a few years ago, but thanks for the link - I'm watching it again with my 'little' sis :)
As for the mop - there's a legend that witches of Poland has a meeting on a hill named The Bald Mountain and they fly there on mops/brooms - something they got at hand at a time. I've chosen the word mop rather than broom because my brain (thanks to HP and JKR) links the word broom with sth specialy made, sth more, let's say 'professional' and mop is (for me) sth cheap, made by hand, to sweep yard with. Forgive me if I'm wrong ;)
I'm glad you use different characters and objects (e.g. from legends). That makes your stories more gorgeous.
And the cabin HOPPING through Europe with SS actually INSIDE... no comment :D:D:D
    Hugs,
    Belle

Pytonyk: I found an animated movie called "Bartok the Magnificent" that features a Baba Yaga. I made a playlist for it so it plays straight through on youtube.com under my solomru account. Here is the playlist address if you want to watch it:

Hi Pytonyk: I knew there were two versions of the chicken legged house and that in Poland the Baba Yaga's house has only one leg. It made me laugh because that meant it would have to hop about. I had researched it on wiki and they gave both versions. I just picked Poland because 1) it is closer to the UK, and 2) well, I like Poland. lol. I met this GORGEOUS guy from Poland some years ago, with the most amazing blue eyes and beautiful accent . . . sigh. I've liked Poland ever since.

But I couldn't have a one-legged chicken legged house hopping to England without bouncing Snape around (magic can only do so much) so I just took some creative license and gave the house two legs so it could run.

Now, I didn't see anything about a mop-riding Baba Yaga, I don't think. I'm going to go back and check. Here's the link to it if you want to check it out. You'll see I mixed and matched the attributes to make up my version of Baba Yaga, relying heavily on the Russian version. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baba_Yaga

Maybe this Baba Yaga is a transplant? lol. But thank you for pointing that out and I'm glad you're enjoying the story

Oh my! You did it again! You had many, many funny moments in your fics, but I guess this one beats everything! I'll always have the image of a house on chicken legs running through the Europe in my mind!"Disillusioned, of course". Of course. :D You really made my day!

But.BUT.Although Baba Yaga is a character from Slavic mythology and Poland is a Slavic country, it rather comes from Russia. 'Our' Baba Jaga (because I'm Polish :D ) flies on a mop and her house has got only one leg. The Baba Yaga you described is a typical Russian one. Of course, I'm hardly an expert. I even wanted to 'do some research' and find out more about it, but most information on the internet is either in Russian, Czech or... in English. But just wanted to let you know that it's not a typical Polish character an I was surprised she resided in 'our' woods.

No matter, let me use some of your Hermione's words and say "You

Well, well, this should be interesting for Severus. I can't wait to see what "entertainment" Lucius has planned for the party. I can't wait to read more. Update again and soon.

Salon_Kitty: Hey. Well, the way I was thinking was this. Gryffindors are basically -- good, and most likely curious. A Slytherin Hermione would probably be considered something of a coup to win over. Possibly, they are suspicious, but she doesn't interact with them enough for it to matter much. Harry does ask everyone to give her space, but the story doesn't focus on him enough to actually give an idea what he thinks. Basically, it seems she's more of a curiosity to her housemates than anything else. She's already written the whole lot of them off, so her teaching Harry and Ron anything isn't likely.

Hmm, I just finished Chpt. 8. Both Hermiones and Slytherin Snape are a hoot. Your dialogue is very funny.

However, in Bizarro!Hermione's introduction to the Gryffindors, I highly doubt they would all be so accommodating. Ron and Harry would both be outraged to have "their" Hermione floating around in some other questionable reality, wouldn't they? And seeing as the rivalry between the two houses if overtly intense, I can't imagine that the Gryffindors would not be suspicious of this new Slytherin incarnation of Hermione. Especially since she has yet to put them at ease that she's the same person they know and trust. In fact, she's made it distinctly obvious they are pretty far apart with her vulgarities. I'd think Harry, for one, would have a major problem with this. But as you are making this all about Snape and Hermione, I guess I understand you wanting to get them out of her way. Pity. Seeing this ruthless version of the bookworm initiate the boys into a heady world of kinky sex would have been priceless.

Ok, I know Harry can be a bit naive, but how does one miss the implied disaster in the phrases "mature wizards", 'dungeons' and 'I'll handle the entertainment'? I have this image of Ron tied over a sawhorse wearing lacy knickers and a leather gag, and it ain't pretty! Fitting, perhaps, but not pretty. eeww. Must...scrub...brain!

    Say it ain't so Figgy!
Epilogue already?! What about the happy ending for other world Hermione & Snapey-pooh? You left off where they were in the ROR and it was Gryffindor Snape that ended up with her and not picking up the mirror.
What happened when she graduated? etc.
