i suppose severus' days as harry's sitter is still not over, then. but again, maybe severus himself can't keep himself to not care. but surely, he had to be forgiven. he's in a hurry to save his lover to think much of his own safety. did JKR really have to killed him canonically, just so that harry could use it as his son's MIDDLE name? :( sorry, me ranting.
i'm just curious about the way harry did against the cobra curse, was that the standard auror procedure, or just his being diplomatic?

Oh! I really enjoyed that beginning bit when Draco noticed that bit about the imposter. With an enemy unknown and masked as he is, it was easy to assume that besides the "crazy," limitations couldn't be considered, and thus didn't exist for the imposter. Its nice to know that the imposter is "reading and copying even Draco's thoughts" and isn't so omniscient. Although all of this really does make the imposter's anger at Draco's obsession with Harry make more sense. The Draco he had constructed in his mind had crumbled a bit. Snape's bit was interesting along with the curse potion. The last bit of that scene was really well written in the words chosen. Him and Lily. Finally the last bit of this chapter was awesome! I had this really cool image in my head of the four getting ready for this rescue mission. :)

lol. So much for Draco getting any time to implement his plan before Harry seeks him out. Not that it would probably work. It was interesting to finally meet the imposter a bit more. Thinking that anything he couln't copy of Draco's was an absolute flaw. I look forward to see how this all pans out. Maybe the imposter, while may be a regular joe, is actually a product of a spell Narcissa used to protect her son... I'm a bit worried about Lucius. Although the idea of turning the crazy imposter's mind inside/out is kind of cool, I'm not sure how he would be able to direct that spell to the correct target, and not hurt his own son. I wasn't surprised that it was easy to get to Draco, but I was a bit disappointed that Ron hadn't set anyone up at the house. When the suspect is getting more and more erratic or desperate in action, that kind of neglect is unforgiveable, despite Ron's anger at Draco and what he did. Afterall, in the end, Harry is the one who has to have lived with it all. Wonderful job. I liked the line about Draco finding it more horrible that Harry would die, over himself dying. Although that feeling would probably always have been there, Faustine probably really helped so that he could admit such things.

hello, just reviewing one of your wonderful stories, letting you know that i am still a faithful and avid reader of yours. even though i read all your stories, i dont continue to review them like any fan should because i just dont think i can write a review worthy of your talent. *coughs*im lazy!*coughs*

that having been said, i am reviewing now, at 5:20am (serves me right for reading too late at night...or too early in morning...whatever lol), because of your INSANE cliffhanger. u blew me totally out of left field. i guess it was a surprise because it took a lot longer for this story to grow on me. i dont remember if i told u to stop doing cliffies, as i affectionately call them, n not saying you should remember either, but stop it! seriously, u talk about harry, n then u enter that little tidbit, "oh, n draco wakes up n gets crucio'd by his stalker." driving me insane, n i'll bet im gonna have a nightmare reminiscent of that scene. how creepy is that to dream about your dead mother practically reaching from the afterlife, only to wake up and stare into the face of the person actively interested in your demise? in draco's case probably, currently active. creepy clifferton, indeed. otherwise, it was an exceptional chapter, what with all the storyline updates from the major characters. NEED a chappie update pronto.

p.s. - u deserve a collective review, so it goes with saying that i LUV all your stories and one-shots, past present and future. only you can successfully prompt me to act completely silly :D

:( I thought you said that the imposter will have to find Harry first? Interesting chapter. Snape's section had me frustrated of course, as only movies can do, cutting away from the truth just as it is at the readers' fingertips. I liked the short paragraph on glamours, it had me thinking of "Changing of the Guard." Although my impression from Snape's was some kind of doppleganger/shapeshifter ("almost himself"?). Some creature that for some reason decided to take after Draco. Its killing me to think of what could have actually surprised Snape. Lucius' portion was really really awesome. That Narcissa-skin thing was crazy, and gave me a few chills. Poor man. Although I wonder if his own obsession is worse than Draco's. The reflection-drowning event reinforces the doppleganger idea for me, but a bit part of me wants to think this is just a human wacko. It also makes me wonder if Narcissa did something before she died. It seems instilled upon us that Narcissa would destroy anything that hurt Draco. some long-term spell/curse/protection? I don't think Harry should feel bad for the letter, but it understandable for him to worry about Draco's wellbeing. It would be horrible if Draco will be hurt (long-term) after this chapter, and Harry isn't there to help at all. I was a bit confused at Peter's punishment. *Ouch* to your blunt comment about Harry/Faustine being nicer. lol Wonderful job with this chapter.

Great. Thanks, I actually do feel better. It is easily to placate me I suppose. :) I really enjoyed this True introspection into Draco's character. He started the chapter off willing to give the truth SHOULD Harry DEMAND it, but now, he nows he'll have to willingly give that truth, hopefully, or truly lose Harry. Its amazing that Draco should get so many chances. I'm hoping he gets it right this time. Faustine is awesome! :) As long as she isn't the imposter...lol. I have to wonder why Faustine said it makes her shudder to think of Harry's truth, as if they are worse than Draco's. Saying that Draco fought in the war for (to fight against) Harry and not for his father, and that he hoped Harry was fighting for (to fight against) Draco was a really cool approach to take. I hadn't thought of that being a possible look into Draco's character back then. Wonderful job.

I just caught up with this one, went for the next chapter button and it was nowhere to be seen. AHHHHH!!!!! Well rest assured, I won't lose it again! This has been one great ride, I think I love your Harry more than any I've ever read. Draco is wickedly perfect, in a dark dangerous way. Luscious is wonderful too. Hope the ending is happy and Draco and Harry manage to come to a balancing compromise to bring out the best of themselves. The impostor has me stumped still, I suspect Draco from another time line trying to make them not make the same mistakes he made in his time? Love a little mystery thrown in with my angst, and this one really delivers.
