Oi... very intense, very interesting chapter. So we get the first real hint as to what is going on and BOY.. that a hint if I've ever seen one... I'm into the alternate timeline theory myself for a bit and it's a very enciting application here. And I think it's obvious as to why the imposter (can we even call him that anymore?) came here of more like because of whom eheheheheee, that is going to get soooooo ugly!! Just Draco you know...

The situation is definitely becoming uncomfortable for everyone. I absolutely adore the "Time Turner" idea. That would certainly explain how the imposter didn't enter the wards really (wasn't just lying in wait either), but just was there. Although that I have a bit of problem with only because I don't understand the time turner, and thought that once you used it, you couldn't just appear at a "future" time, meaning that since he's used it to go as far back as he has, can he still use its power to invade the manor? I'm confusing myself a bit. But assuming that you will keep any Draco in the same timeline for the most part, I wonder if the other Draco is trying to kill Draco before he does something stupid like hurt Harry, Severus, or Lucius. Although just by being there, the fake Draco is changing the course of things. Time is so confusing. So assuming he is an alternate dimensional Draco...well those possibilities are endless, and it would be a bit sad to just have this fake trying to kill the real one just for the sake of continuing their life. Sorry, I'm a bit on a tangent. As for the other sections, Snape utterly pissed me off! You haven't exactly covered how the war ended and played out, so I'm not sure if Harry was giving up his life as he did in the books, but for Snape to tell Harry that everything he touches ends up dying...incredibly cruel. As a former Death eater, even though a spy, I would think he would have a different and perhaps an even guiltier idea of death and who it actually surrounds. I'm interested in this Severus's impression of Lily. I thought it was actually pretty ironical that Harry was hanging upside down due to Snape's wards. Harry's section surprised me, just because, while I'm glad that he isn't expecting love, nor is he giving it until he is sure he'll receive it (although with Draco's lies, I'm not sure how that will play out), I was surprised that he was willing to windle down his feelings into sex. Sex that isn't intended to wrap tendrils around Draco's heart, just sex to be done with it all. A bit sad. Great job. Many characters, and so many developments needed for all of them. I look forward to the next chapter.

the entries in narcissa's journal... i really hope there's more to it. she left the last of it in hanging. if she did leave coded message(s) behind, i'll just count on you to spell it/them out to me. i'm hopeless with those things. mothers are vicious creatures when it comes to their children's safety (well, with the only known male baby-sitters in the animal world are seahorse daddies, i'd assume nature do agree with moms being the best child-rearers).

Yeah... there's going to be much more loss till anybody gets anywhere near winning. Very intersting insight into the Malfoy-Senior plot though.. Unravel!!

I oddly began to think that Narcissa was using that same "mother's love" power for Draco that Lily used for Harry. It was interesting to read the excerpt, although I couldn't help but correct Lucius aloud when he asked "Why?" and I spoke "When?" It is too bad that he himself hasn't grown to completely understand what he did to estrange his wife (and son) from himself by serving the Dark Lord, especially since I can't see him helping Draco out verbally in the future, as he has already lost Draco's respect. And Draco...goodness. I, myself, narrow my eyes at his "shy" kisses or that "vulnerable shine" in his eyes. You've done a great job at putting me in Draco shoes in that, like him, I can't tell when he is being honest with himself, or is lying to himself at times. I look forward to the next chapter. The search for this imposter is really getting interesting and frustrating. It has to be some blood Dark spell spell, since the person also attacked the wards at Draco's office, but the only enemy I have at hand would probably have been that guy who destroyed a house Draco built for him, when he took out the foundation. Very interesting.

um, i like faustine already. a mysterious lady is a dangerous one, as i can see in hermione's mind. i think an encounter of Madam M with one potion master could be interesting. how omoshiroi the conversation would be, i have no clue to that.

Hmm, well it does look like he'll be making that effort to see Harry, despite his confidence in his knowledge of his view of Harry. The ring is still a very interesting idea, and I love Hermione's character to death, but goodness that must be bloody annoying. In anycase wonderful development so far. I'm looking forward to the identity of this enemy as well as this connection to...Shakespeare? I can't think of when obsession played a role in Shakespeare plays to the point of overkill yet. :) The house elf conversation was interesting. I expected Harry to get angrier than he did with Dobby being talked of in such a fashion, but I'm glad it was Draco who just backed down/got tired of arguing it first.
