Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, so much for your update. What a stupid man. I am so glad that Severus is a very smart man and will not be conned out of anything that will be to his advantage. Great job.

Awesome update as always. The bit with the coatrack was cute, too. Hope Severus gets over his potion-induced obsession soon!

So Sev wants to strut a little, hey? Lovely chapter; I always enjoy it when someone gets 'snaped'!

So much tension for them both. I forgot whose idea it was to not have such an intimate relation, but it sure is burning them both. I love his sneakiness to cast spells.

Duh, Duh, Duh....Okay, I'm speechless. Totally bereft. Totally besotted! Can I play with him when she's done??? Pretty please??? He's - he's funny and sweet and smart and adorable in his whole Severus-like way,(plus he put on that frock coat which has been the star of MOST of my sexual fantasies XD), and oh boy I could fall in LOVE with him!!!

His interaction with Yorick can be quite whimsical--a preview of what truly relaxed Severus would be like around everyone else? I like that he checked all the Shakespeare plays for Bonnie and Clyde and that he's finally figured out that he bites his tongue and doesn't ask for clarification entirely too often. I hope Hermione comes to her senses and doesn't enter into a physical relationship with Severus again until he can de-potion himself. Hermione can't be the center of his world if that spot is already taken.

I totally, TOTALLY get what you mean by the lack of reviews. People love to say that we should write for ourselves, but that's just bullshit. You wouldn't post it online if it was just for you, and what doesn't make sense is that there are thousands of reads at a time, and only a couple reviews in exchange! I really isn't fair. I ALWAYS review and I don't understand why people can't just type something simple just to give some feedback. Besides, it is rarely the regular reviewers who complain about authors who ask for reviews. It's those lazy people. *sigh*... as you can see, this rant has been waiting for a long time.

Concerning this story, I just love how much anticipation you build! I am so in love with your Snape!

I really like that Snape was confused at the Bonnie and Clyde reference, and Hermione's use of "had me going". I also do like that Snape and Hermione both react emotionally at first, and sometimes try to stop from acting until they calm down and start thinking of other evidence. I like the portrayal of Harry. The Dumbledore in the portrait in Minerva's office felt a bit off, but I don't know why. I did like how Severus escaped the mind trap, and how he dealt with being in the trap in the first place. I can't figure out what the trigger phrase was; it wasn't obvious. Since Dumbledore's gone, I guess we'll never figure it out.

btw, I love Snape's mental editing process. Or the way you portray it, anyhow.

Dear Lord. I just finished chapter 19, in which Yorick refuses to deliver a letter and Snape swears he hears Yorick hiss coward at him. Yorick is not a wizard, is he?
I read the first few chapters a while ago, before Snape and Hermione met. It was a delight to find this story again. The mystery is very juicy. I'm all for Dumbledore cursing Snape to make sure Snape always feels guilty and continues to act of behalf of the Order of the Phoenix.
I'm going to assume that Hermione finds out about Lily through Harry's sorted out dreams and that Snape finds out about Hermione's snooping and gets very, very angry.
