Oh dear. I'm chuckling nervously here with that consequences commment. Hmm, another question. Malfoy said this was a solution, to sort of oblivate Harry's continued life from everyone's mind but he didn't mention what happens to the stone. Does it become a rock devoid of power and thought? I'm guessing that it does not teleport anywhere, and for some reason it isn't like Harry's physical death, but does it immediately crack and break or something? I'm not sure I liked the comment where Draco seemed so sure that Harry was something he could have, as opposed to someone else being the charisma focus, but I thought it was rather amusing how Harry didn't think of Draco to be with, but rather thought of muggles and Death eaters first. :) Back to the idea of the troublestone, I wasn't sure about it before, but I am defintely finding it to be a much more interesting "character" in the story. The idea that something like that could have explained something akin to Hitler and the Nazi part or the like is rather interesting in it's own way. Even if it can't be realistically sound in our world. And back to my "peaceful" comment. I'm not sure exactly how to explain it, but despite the passion that is present during those scenes, unlike your other stories, I dunno. It seems almost one of those "slow motion" fuzzy (but not too fluffy) scenes that there is just an utter peace to be found in their relationship in this story. This ultimately is formed from scenes like the touching of scars and Draco's tilted mind but... it is rather to pleasant to read something of their affirmation of life in the past chapter, when something of that nature (life) is what they are fighting for. I suppose that is what I meant. It was rather cruel ;) that Harry thinks he can leave Draco after becoming a rock for him in the days to come, so I'm glad Harry is getting a bit of a wake up call. It is weird that Harry isn't approaching the solution as something he can choose. He can certainly choose to escape to the muggle world without Draco, so I'm surprised he never thought of it. I find that death might have been kinder than having everyone forget that you are still alive, but having to go on living. Harry certainly can't save the world anymore after this case is done if he does have to exit stage left. But the question of these consequences are killing me! I look forward to seeing those and the next chapter. Wonderful job. I'm enjoying this story so very much.

Okaaaay, even though I'm a total Draco fan, the first person I'd be running from would be Draco. He's really creepy, not even in a fun way. Why can't Harry do this on his own...after escaping Draco.

I really, really love this Draco, so passionate and strong, even after the tortures and his imprisonement. He's a perfect match for Harry, 'cause behind the saviour, the hero, he's a little boy, insicure and scared to be left alone. But I think Draco's plan could be a great opportunity for Harry. No more pressures, no more 'savior of the world' things that people have always expected from him. Obviously...IF Draco's plan is going to work! What a pity we're near the end of the story, I would have liked it a little bit longer (ok...much more longer!)

the perfect balance of a chapter; 2/3 of action/adventure/suspense and 1/3 of...loving? heh, that's just me and my opinion, but the loving part after a near-death situation (at least for Draco, since Harry's life is insured by the stone), is so my cup of coffee. the relief of surviving and the desperation to convince oneself of it....for Draco, to find himself not all alone anymore, that there's someone who not just fighting WITH him, but FOR him, i can't imagine how he's feeling during the course of the battle. thank you, author.

Funny you should mention "action" so shortly after THAT scene. lol But I must say, this is probably my favorite moment of the two beings lovers, out of all the other sex scenes you written. This was peaceful as much as it was passionate, and almost appropriate and perfect timing to introduce it even though I'm sure I don't understand everything, as we don't get a look into Draco's thoughts in this story. As for the other "action", that scene was amazing! I loved the idea of "Expelliarmus plurimus"; that was wicked. As a curiousity, if Harry were to die, would the stone lose its effects? Or would it hold Harry as a martyr or something? You mentioned before that the stone wouldn't want Harry to die, but I was just curious as to whether Harry's death is an option for resolution. And if Harry survives, I really hope he didn't kill anyone. I can't imagine what the blasting curse that hit Kingsley dead on must have done to him. And you mention consequences, but even if Harry is succumbing to a bit of selfishness in his want for scars and fighting, that he doesn't have to go to jail, or die for that matter. Wonderful chapter. I really am enjoying this story.

There is definitely some part of me that always falls for the whole Harry and Draco against/saving the world, alone together.

I'm excited to see where this one is going :)

    about #4...

O-o-okayyy, what stands out the MOST to me is....Draco seems two nuts shy of a
full basket. I don't really want to know what happened, but it seems his mind
went around the bend a few times.

AH! :( You had to end it there, huh? :( I was starting to get excited to see the plot move and then... lol anyways. I liked the reverse touching of Harry's scars. That was quite beautiful, and a much nicer feel than even the fabulous scene before with Harry touching Malfoy's scars. I hadn't thought that Harry would take that wish to have more scars to this extreme, but oh well. Was it really all Harry's fault though? With the power of the troublestone, I'm not sure if it could have broken the connection. I would have liked that better, especially since I would have thought Draco would have told Harry of the reprecussions of Harry getting hurt, since he knows how foolhardy Griffindors could be. Not that I can really blame him for forgetting. Do you plan on going over exactly how Draco analyzed the protections around the Troublestone and how he decided that he forgot something only after arrive at the Ministry? I like the description of the spell though. I can't wait for the next chapter though. Literally, I mean you end it right when Harry goes for the worst person possible to shoot a curse at, the Minister. Awesomeness.
