    Oh, dear.
This story I hate and love at the same time - it is so brilliantly constructed and well-written, and the plot is awsome, but I really don

aahhhhh.... SH finally ended! i don't want to believe this is terminal, but it's a great read up to the final word. maybe because i somehow instinctively feel that courage is the last chapter, i keep taking breaks from it to sew my dress. i was just kuyashi that this story has to stop this early. love it MUCH!

I really liked that one and am hoping you do a sequel because it seems there is a lot more potential there. Anyhow great stuff as per normal.

Oooh. So many great things to love about this story. You really tied up the, not the total disregard of the scars, but rather that idea of Draco still being a hero without them. Also...:) I liked the ritual...alot. You really did a great connector to his death walking up to Voldemort in the final books, stilll thinking of all his friends, still with that bit of tension and pre-acceptance, and better than that, I loved the line about him starting and ending with the first wizard he ever met, to end his life in the wizarding world (although it is kind of cool that he gets to remain in it). The idea of the solution was really intriguing and thoughtful as far as them not being able to form new memories. I'm glad you named Draco's need a bit of an exaggeration because the last thing they needed was to get over an idea that either needed emotionally or physically the other more than the other needed them. This was just so fabulous. Great job with this story.

Flashyness, yummy!! And highly amusing dramatics *g* Now Harry has a chance at a normal life like he always wished he had. A chance at happiness, indeed. Well, nothing to add there I presume!!

hey! you gave a clear hint with the 'Dragon' in the Order's name early in the story, but somehow i was still shocked with them appearing now. i just didn't see that coming. wonderful, as ever. thank you!

It isn't so much that I completely forgot the "Order of the Dragon" existed, I just figured that the number was so few that we wouldn't be meeting them, but this is interesting. I'm a bit wary as to whether this ritual will actually turn real at some point (real death with the dagger), seeing as all of the information of the Troublestone comes directly from Draco, and he could, techically lie at will. As for the shattering of the stone, there is one clause I'm wondering. Say this ritual is completed and everyone believes Harry to be dead, and the stone shatters, how possible is it for Harry to return back to his life? I mean, just because everyone believes him to be dead, doesn't mean that, from their perspective he couldn't have faked it once he returns. That would have been different if his entire life disappeared from their memory, but...I hope that makes sense. I'm just curious as to how many ways this can turn out from here. I'm not sure I like that Draco is introducing him to his Order only after they go into the ministry, seemingly without anything to trick the wards. On another note, I rather liked Draco's response in two particular spots: one when Harry asks Draco why he is so "cheerful" and the other when Harry calls him a hero. Respectively, those were two wickedly intense and sweet scenes. I can't believe you churned this chapter out though, not 24 hours after that other LONG oneshot. Especially since this seems to be the longest chapter of Secondhand Heroes. :) Glad you did. I really am enjoying this story. I find it hard to key on to Draco's feelings for Harry, since he chooses surprising moments to be affectionate when the old Draco might have been angry or irritated (although he finally showed a bit of exasperation). To be sure, this isn't quite the obsessive needy nature of the Draco in "Forgive those who Trespass", but at the same time not entirely sane of mind either, but sane enough to realize that he is under "delusions" and such. Wonderful job.

Mehehehehe... I've waited for the Order of the Dragon to make an appearance.. not exactly a surprise there.. only one man would've had enough power and determination to form that one apart from Harry (in his earlier days of course..) Well, I think now we've got everything needed for a good flashy finale!! Bring it on!

Aha.. we really should have known.. is there ANY way to save the world without Harry dying some way or another? *g* It's an interesting concept nonetheless even if Draco's a bit mad but well, aren't we all a bit haywire?? They'll manage!

draco is like a spider and harry can't get away from him. This is the mental picture I got of this chapter. Great fun.
