I never heard the version of that song but thanks to you it is now on my ipod. I am feeling quite chastised for my thought that Hermione was another annoyance for Draco to flaunt at his parents. I think I have Finally accepted that fact that he is really falling for her (I can be as stubburn as Ron on my best of days.). I am waiting with bated breathe for the meeting with Lucius it promissed to be quite the scene. Looking forward to more as usual. Well done!!!

Someone slap Draco for that comment! Iddiot! Well, he did a good job of digging his foot from his mouth - bearing in mind it was inserted up to the knee!

I think that is the most beautiful MAKING LOVE scene I've EVER read - I've read sex, I've read f**king, I've read shagging... but that's the BEST scene of MAKING LOVE yet. Well done.

Narcissa isn't really coddling him, she just wants to know how he is; that family has been through a lot in the past - I think the Malfoy Matriarch is frightened. I think Narcissa is terrified that Draco will want nothing to do with them after everything that happened (and feck knows what Voldie did to him). A quick floo just to say 'hi, I'm alright' isn't asking much. I'm the opposite, my parents tell me to only phone home if something's wrong! If I phone home then they tend to panic.

So, Draco's literally a chip off the old block - but I don't think he's quite as bad as what Lucius described himself as... however, what he has with Hermione seems to be, what's the word? Nesting? Settling down?

I doubt Draco's going to get this out of his system, further in and integrated with himself, but definitely not out of his system. If Lucius thinks he can split them up, then he'll probably find himself without a son. It wouldn't surprise me if Draco disowned his parents if they offended Hermione.

If we go by the reckoning that many daughters will look for a bloke who's like her Daddy; then I wonder if it works the other way, and a son will look for a woman like their Mother? If we compare Narcissa and Hermione:

They're both very intelligent; I don't doubt that Narcissa is like an iceberg - there's a lot more under that pretty ice-queen image. I don't think Narcissa could survive as the Lady Malfoy without having more than her fair share of brains! Perhaps Narcissa's interests don't lie in dusty old books, but I certainly don't think she's lacking in knowledge or wisdom. Hermione was one of the smartest witches to walk through Hogwarts, but she's also got the life experience to apply her knowledge. Knowing stuff and being intelligent is easy - using your brain is the difficult bit! As far as intelligence goes, I think Hermione and Narcissa are on the same level.

They're both very calm and think things through; Both witches are in the public eye - albeit for very different reasons. They'll both have to think through everything they say and do or have it come crashing down around them and biting them on the arse. I never imagine Narcissa or Hermione raising their voices, I can see them becoming quieter the more angrier they became - rather than ranting and raving. They're both poised and controlled, with impeccable manners (ie. Hermione's aversion to swearing).

They both have a strength in their presence that cannot be crossed; I imagine that Lucius loses more arguments with Narcissa than he wins; and Hermione won't take s**t from anyone - both women might look like English Roses, but they're not wilting flowers! They're more like Venus Flytraps!

They're both caring and compassionate; That says it all, they both Mother people and look after people. And I don't doubt that Narcissa helps more people than Lucius is aware of.

they're both prepared to let bygones be bygones and let the past go; I'm sure Lucius has done some very nasty stuff as a Death Eater - and I think Narcissa has forgiven him for most of it. And Draco made Hermione's school life HELL, yet she's forgiven him for it and put it behind them. It takes a very confident woman to just shrug and let things go, and both Narcissa and Hermione have that ability in spades.

So... I think Draco's met his match - based on some rather odd psycology; and I think Narcissa and Hermione will actually get on like a house on fire! Narcissa has been dealing with Malfoy men for decades, I'm sure that she's got lots of tips for Hermione! lol! Plus, with Draco buying her pretty things, I can see Narcissa acting more as a stylist for Hermoine. If Hermione's to be the next Lady Malfoy, then she'll need a few pointers and a bit of image help.

I think Lucius will be out-voted and out-numbered by Draco, Narcissa and Hermione; and I don't doubt that Hermione's charm will win him over in no time. I can't see Lucius truly liking any of the pureblood ladies that are 'socially suitable', but not admitting that for the sake of propriety and properness.

Not to mention that if Lucius doesn't approve, there's a Weasley army, the Potters, Neville and Studley who'll defend her! lol!

Really great chapter but ohoh... I can see trouble coming! I bet Lucius won't be too happy with them! But hey, I guess that needs to be done, as I said earlier it's much too easy for them right now. But I do have complete faith in you and your happy endings! *Big Smile

PLUS: Draco realised that he might be in Love with Hermione? About time man! He's such a sweethart. I mean you will rarley meet a guy so self confident and insecure in the same time! How parents can mess up their children... ;-) Incredible! Well, he's on the right way, so I guess they will be all right! Love that!

Even naked, eating noodles out of Hermoine's hair, I'd imagine Draco still looked quite dignified, at least comapred to others. Or at least taht's how it plays out in this twisted head of mine.
I can't wait for Malfoy Sr. to find out about Draco's "wild oats". I just hope Hermoine gives as good as she gets.

Oh the romantic in me absolutely adores this chapter!! So sweet, so so ...a half naked singing Draco?? What girl in her right mind could resist? I got dibs on the next dance with him!!! (all of you can just back off!! - LMAO)

The mischeivious girl inside can;t wait to see what happens when Lucius and Narcissa "stumble" across Draco and his girl, Hermione!!

Honestly I hope Lucius doesn't hate Hermione and Draco's relationship...I want him to suprise everyone but being so approving of the relationship!!

Loved this chapter and I think Draco is being so sweet with Hermione xxxx 10/10

wow what another great chap!!!! i just love this story... i loved looking at hermione and draco threw harrys eyes it was nice to see what he saw... love love love it!!! i wonder how her meeting with the malfoys will go you should have them married already when they meet like have them elope or something that would be great

Awww, flowers and a dog to wake up to! lol!

Well, riding an elephant is a rather unusual birthday present... I'm 21 TOMORROW (11th Sep, its the 10th today)! Yay - nobody got me an elephant. I got enough money for my text books instead. CAN I HAVE A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?

Blokes see you wearing their clothes as a claim or marking their territory! lol! There's something that drives them wild when you wear their clothes!

What shade is obscene red? Just out of curiosity.

If you look up 'bitter' in the dictionary, you'd see Pansy's photograph.

Does Draco call his 'little Draco' "Malfoy"? I can imagine that! lol!

I always wondered if the room of requirement was alive. Maybe it had family in other buildings creating perfect rooms for all occasions? I'm odd.

I have to say I just started reading this story... and i love it I am on chap five i think the one where she goes to see his band.... great job i just love it.... so i am on to the next i just had to say that i love this draco he is funny and sweet and snotty to certain people i love it!!!! i can not wait to read more!!!
