SG, my first marriage dissolved before my eyes. He told me he'd never loved me, and when I asked why he'd married me then (and it was a hard battle: pre-marriage counseling, and everyone was against us), he said, "Well, I liked you, and you were my best friend, and I thought you'd do until Ms. Right came along." I have since re-married and have had four children and 21 years and two years of engagement prior to with the OB/Gyn who actually delivered all the kids. Not exactly roses all those years, but certainly many memories. You just never know. Quite frankly, I love reading your stories -- nice to see a happy ending sometimes. Chin up: you're certainly stronger than what's being thrown at you. Or else it wouldn't be happening to you.

I am LOVING this story! Then again, I love all of your stories... Was it the photographer who sold the pictures to the Daily Prophet? And I *LOVED* Hermione throwing up on Lucius! And OMG!!! "You can call me Big Daddy when we are alone." Can *I* call him Big Daddy??? PLEASE????? lol

Great story! I can't wait to see how it ends! (perhaps a female Malfoy baby? maybe twins? nah.. No twins... but lots of sex! haha)

Two chapters at once! And loveley they were, too! You made my day!

I think it was right to let them elope. It fits the caracters and the way they have been handeling their relationship up to that point. Draco is definitly not the born diplomat to blurt out the news of her pregnancy like that! But I guess that way they have come clear on every aspect... And Hermione throwing up on Lucius - I guess it had to happen? The two of them always get themselves into embarrassing situations when they meet! *grin*

And I would like to comment on your comment :-) I do agree with what you said about getting married. It always depends on the people in the relationship. Each couple has its own pace, its own rythm. To wait or to do it on a whim doesn't mean anything. At least if it's not somebody you have barely known. On top of that, I think that while important it is not marriage that changes your life most. In my eyes the most important decision is to have children or not. I am neither married, nor mother, but children will depend on you for years and years and be in your life forever. You divorce your spouse (even if that is certainly not what you plan when getting married), but you cannot divorce your children. So, thumbs up for your response!

As you said, what a treat to get 2 chaps in one day.... and they are great 2 chaps too. I very much enjoy your stories and this one in particular. Sorta sorry to hear it's coming to an end, but I guess on that just means I have whatever your next tale is to look forward to.

The way you have written these last couple of chapters kind of reminds me of my parents. When my mom was younger, she had commit problems. Due to this, she and my dad dated for around 3 years before I unexpectedly came along. They were very much in love but my appearance is what helped push my mom to agree to get married. They probably would have been married right away too, but when they were talking to Justice of the Priests to get someone to officiate, it was strongly recommended that if they wanted any type of honeymoon to wait until after the first trimester. It can be seen how closely my parents followed this advice by the fact that I was born six months to the day after their ceremony. I am now the oldest of three kids and my parents have been married for over 20 years and are still going strong. I thank you for reminding me of the good memory :).

This story is absolutely fantastic, by the way. Studly is hillarious and Draco's antics usually make me laugh at least once a chapter. Hermione throwing up on Lucius in this chapter was absolutely priceless.

The vomit bit was bloody fantastic! How great to crank out all explainations in one go? Certainly makes things easier. And of course Narcissa would swoon over a party and a baby and nearly faint from Charlie and his tounge stud. Perhaps he could show her a thing or two...maybe help with her allergy.

It's nice to read about the romance of weddings. All the love and promise. Personaly I believe that 90% of people getting married shouldn't. Of course I am a hypocrite because I am married and always believe myself to be the exception to the rule. I did it for the dress, the gifts, and the tax break. (wink wink)

A beatuiful wedding night!! ***SIGH*** Sweet and tender and romantic.....the way it should be. :)

LMAO at all of the Weasleys, Harry, and Lucius and Narcissa arriving on their doorstep. Lovingthe way Lucius took charge, and I too feel bad that the family (his and hers) were left out of the wedding process. But sometimes thats the way it goes because each couple must do whats right for them.

I cracked up at the thought of charlie flashing his tongue ring at Narcissa.....do you think she'll get to see his pierced nipples at a family gathering? I would love to see her reaction to that.

I adore Draco's sense of humor and the way he handled the situation....

And as for Big Daddy.....well, I'll call him that whenever he wants me to.

Also glad to see that Studly can;t wait for the little Malfoys to start tugging his ears....

    Wonderful Update!!!

    Love

Marriage is too serious for impulsiveness. I just watched a movie called I Think I Love My Wife. Men go off the rails sometimes. If the process of arriving at getting married was well planned out and well thought through, they might be less inclined to give up on their marriage and go somewhere else.

When the tedium of marriage sets in, what do couples have to rely on if not the process. Passion fades. Children strain. Process is what steadies people when they start squirming and shifting wondering what else there is.
