Only a question: How can you be so good writing?; I love your histories and I love how reflective Harry's personalities and Draco. Thank you to give us your historiasl. she forgives for the spelling, I am using a translator, I am Spanish, of Madrid.

I know you wrote this story for someone else...*sniff* wish you'd write one
for me...but I've always been an admirer of stories that deal with people who can change into animals and not your typical creature fic.

You don't see much of those here.
    *****************
    about this chapter...

    1. A mule??? Of ALL the animals, I never saw that one coming! That was too
    funny! :-)

    2. Big question, what is a pupa???

By the way, I hope you don't mind in the future, because I have an old computer
I've learned that anything over 20,000 words doesn't download completely it only
does half a chapter and it's a pain to load the page constantly.

Just a request, I was wondering if you could split long chapters in 2, in the future.

I know it's a pain in the butt, BUT until I get a new computer I don't have the
    benefits others have.

Oooh. This was fascinating. I thought it was desperately amusing how different this Draco is from your "shakespeare" peice, in that he was so inquistive and so willing to change and accomodate his perspectve of Harry. Speaking of which, I love how you displayed that with Draco's endless guess of Harry's form. I found myself guessing half the time along with him, first thinking of the obvious pheonix in being noticeable/prominent, flying, and such, but then when we got to the crocodile guess, I looked at the title and swore, believing that you were making Harry the albatross. So when you decided to make Draco the albatross (love the idea behind that. How incredible Draco's potential is with himself/someone else to realize it to allow him the push to take flight), I went back to my pheonix guess, although I was uncomfortable about it. Then when the "coaxing" issue came about, I had this weird premonition about him being a snake, but when you uncovered that Harry would be a mule, I have to agree, it was quite perfect. Definitely not what I would have guessed or expected, but I dunno, it even seemed to fit with Harry's parents, as I could see James being a "donkey" (I know he really wasn't), more stubborn (and cruel) than his son, and Lily being something as majestic and motherly as a female horse. The small patch resembling his lightning bolt scar was a nice touch there as well. As for your interpretation of how animagi forms are chosen, that was really interesting, although I must admit I did get a little confused at the slight contradictoryness of it, especially since I'm obviously not as well versed as Minerva or Draco would be at it. In the beginning you seemed to imply that the form could change, in that now I could be one animal, but with different experiences 10 years from now, I could be something completely different. Seemed like a sad way to think of it, but I wasn't sure since Draco redid his lion judgement based on how Harry seemed to have changed, rather than how he, himself, perceived Harry wrongly in their childhood. Then you go on to say that Draco would't like to be a ferret and that is a reason he didn't become one, yet he told Harry he could become a dog, even though Harry wouldn't want to be one. I assume it might be because Harry doesn't have a negative look on the dog as an animal, but as an experience, while Draco has a negative view as both, but Draco wouldn't know about Sirius so...But still. Obviously interesting, as I'm still mulling over the idea of an animagi which isn't touched as much as I would have liked in the original boooks. Another thing I liked was that from the beginning Harry didn't allow the situation to escalate where he didn't think clearly for other's sake (even if he did use the Seeker Spell at his own peril) in that he told Draco upfront about how he was no longer supposed to investigate. Lastly, and this is just a line that stuck with me as a humorous, but ironic theme: "I don

Maybe it was just me, but at a certain part of this where Harry hasn't yet transformed but he was about to, I definitely thought he was going to be a Hippogriff. Was I the only one? ahha probably.
This is quite long but its so good! I notice that on ffdotnet you broke it up into two chapters.
I like how this wasn't a simple Harry and Draco getting together story, it was a process and the maturation of Harry to change from apathetic and uncaring to realizing that he doesn't have to subject himself to failure of into that state of mind.
