You think your accent is good?? Ever read Lady Chatterley's lover?? I talk like the gardener! lol! I nearly wet myself reading the book - and it was all because of the accent!

Aye lass, can't beat not chelping proper, there's summat t' be said abart accent we 'ave! Not like them red roses over tother side o' Pennines! Nah! white roses all tha way!

And I'll give you the Yorkshire man's advice to his son (or daughter, in this case):
'Ear all, see all, say nowt.
Eat all, sup all, pay nowt.
And if ever tha does owt f'r nowt, always do it f'r tha sen!

I wasn't quite a Snape - but there were enough of us with our noses in books that we had backup against the bullies. In fact, I had to laugh as five of said bullies all ended up as teenage mothers by not being careful. Brains go a long way when sex is involved - though you don't have to be a member of MENSA to roll on a condom.

    That's a big word! lol!

Awwww! Baby Snape can whinge! Cute!

Is Lucius pregnant? That breakfast sounds awful! Honey smoked sausage? No thanks. Though, a round of applause because you didn't have them eating pancakes! Pancakes turn up once a year in the UK (on Pancake day, Shrove Tuesday) - though, the same mixture is eaten weekly in the form of Yorkshire puddings with your Sunday roast.

Lucius Malfoy and 'cute' in the SAME sentence?! Whoa, has Hell frozen over?

Is Lucius a bit on the submissive side?

He he! Been there, done that! Though, I was the one rescuing the little firsties from the bad directions they'd been given!

I love Lucius' huge ego; reminds me of a guy I knew in high school. I think Hermione in Slytherin is a good means of letting ehr see some of their lives from their point of view. More, Please?

I wish you lots of ramen! I love this pairing, most especially the time turner ones
-- there are so few out there :(

Enjoyed reading this so much, I LOL when I got to the part where Hermione punished
The Marauders. I hate bullies and I have a soft spot for Severus. I hope you write
more of him with Hermione in a older sister, close friend or mothering capacity :D

Thank you for sharing this, and I look forward to the next update :)

I'm normally a 'write by the seat of my pants' girl, but my back in time needed a lot of thinking about, its rather dark and violent in places - and it needed a lot of thinking through.

Oh yes, duckie, I'm British born and bred. lol. Slang - what a can of worms that is! There's "generic slang" used all over and then there's slang depending on where you're from! I'm a Yorkshire lass, and some of the slang I use makes absolutely no sense to my flatmate, who's from Cambridge! Bridget Jones is a good book/film for slang, and it's pretty generic. I can give you a site: http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/

Periods are nasty and inconvenient and turn up once a month! lol! They're called 'full stops' over here! And my English teacher would have had my guts for garters if I DIDN'T use them after Mr. Mrs. Dr. Prof. (etc)! They're abbreviations, and thus they require a full stop. Some people are less strict, but I was taught to do it 'properly, according to the rules of grammar and punctuation'.

I did like the seventh book! I nearly wet myself when the house elves went running with their kitchen knives and started attacking! I couldn't see for the tears of laughter as I read that bit! lol! I thought the epilogue was diatribe and I was so disappointed! Hermione and Ron wouldn't have lasted more than a week! He's just all wrong! Opposites attract - but not in their case! I think it was a matter of JKR thinking 'he can't save the world AND get the girl'. *shrug*

Lucius is, quite frankly, obsessed with her! He only wants to sleep with her because he sees her as a challenge! And that's why Hermione's ignoring him - she doesn't want to be another notch on his bedposts... which is making him more determined to bed her... which is making her more determined to ignore him... which makes him more determined........ and it will cycle until one of them snaps!

Bugger! You've got Hermione catching the marauders too! I'll bodge my plot a bit more so it isn't so similar to yours. Shouldn't be too much of a hardship. Though, its rather nice to see the bullies get their just desserts! I can't believe the marauders got away with so much! Dumbledore must have turned a blind eye to everything! In a school where the paintings lining the walls see all and tell all - then there's no excuse for his negligence as a teacher!
