:D I really love how the upperhand is passed around here, especially for Draco and Lucius who believe themselves to always have it (for the most part). I do wonder how far that deal reaches, and whether or not it only covers Lucius' attackers and not the Dursleys as well. I had forgotten that it was only in this chapter that Harry addresses his dislike for vengence directly, and I really love his argument about the other laws taking precedence over this 14th law. Although, written from their perspective, it is sad that Narcissa seems to be almost a betrayer of her husband for not siding with Draco on the revenge issue, I'm glad that at the end she does directly mention that she never liked "drawn-out revenge" though she did see the need for it. Great chapter.

yes, Harry reminds me of one of my cats. she's always clueless. atleast Narcissa understands this. Draco's revenge sounds horrible but i believe it to be justified. mirror mazes on the offending death eaters would be a good revenge but i doubt that the Malfoys would do that.

This was a beautiful chapter. I really enjoyed Narcissa's small portion, looking on Lucius and almost touching him, warring within herself on what she should do. I thought that that was just a gorgeous scene. And of course, reading as Draco looked at Harry while Harry cured Lucius, that was so wonderful. I still look forward to what decisions Draco's love for Harry will bring Draco to act upon, whether he'll love Harry enough not to make those hunger potions or whether he'll love him enough to want justice.

As for your comment that Draco would be more concerned if he saw how Narcissa was being affected, as he almost caught onto something with that letter, I found that interesting. But I really like the line in this chapter about how she felt like Harry influenced her heart, just as Draco does as shown through her actions in the war. If only Draco could caught the RIGHT whiff of her emotions on this, maybe he'd understand what he could potentially lose by acting on those things he was thinking so dreamily about in this chapter.

Oh goodness. I really do love that last line. Seeing Narcissa actually completely stop her actions (instead of just her thoughts) because of her connection with Harry is just wonderful. And it wasn't to farfetched for Draco, in the previous chapter, to worry for a moment that Harry would fall for the controlled and beautiful Narcissa, but I found it endlessly amusing that he thought it. It was really cool to read Draco eavesdropping on their conversation, even seeing Narcissa not be completely honest with Harry and thinking on it, as well as nearly laughing at Lucius for telling Narcissa what to do. Did you always intend Draco's time to "think" as "wank" in Bloody as well? That was funny too as an inside disturbing joke being put sidealong to Narcissa's own pun on Emptyweek in the last chapter. I also really liked the line of Draco's exasperation, bowing his head, when Harry apologizes for using the Malfoy Blood Magic. The subsequent bed scene was sweet, and I'm not sure if I noticed the irony of the situation in Bloody, but it was a bit ironic for Harry to tell Draco HE should rest. I really like that turnabout there just because it really describes how all of this is affecting Draco (Narcissa as well). Narcissa's glamour into a Death Eater persona of a certain sort, was really amazingly described in my opinion. I loved the Scimitar smile/mouth. Wonderful job with these past two chapters. It figures that just as I catch up finally, you've posted Inter Vivos. lol You are too amazing.

Wow. I have to say I'm impressed with the depth and planning that went into this story. Plots within plots and exploring the Pureblood ideals through Malfoy eyes. Very interesting. Excellent diologue, both external and internal. Well written, it flows well with good grammer. Excellently done. I look forward to more.

i'm glad they were able to stop it. Harry really has a cool head for this kind of thing. i also love it how he is changing the Malfoy thinking pattern. Narcissa thinking of justice instead of revenge and realizing that Harry wouldn't approve of her cursing others. its kind of sweet in a wierd way.
