Great ending to that chapter. Lucius already plotting even before he is cured.

Love this and the companion story. I've read both through, but now I'm rereading them at the same time so I get both sides of each scene. Keep up the great work!

Although it was mostly the same lines from Bloody, I really enjoyed this one as there were a couple things I hadn't thought of or expected.

First of all, I was a bit disappointed [though I shouldn't have been] that Draco already knew about the Headache curse. Of course "we" entered that room "with" Harry in Bloody and all of the Malfoys were already in the room, but I hadn't thought they discussed the headache curse among themselves. To find that Draco's look of pain, which Harry noted as real and true in his eyes, was fake was surprising. When I learned that they had known, it was the first time I disagreed that this is the type of family Harry needs [as Narcissa keeps pointing out that it is]. And while I knew that Narcissa was frustrated and angry at herself for not noticing the curse, I certainly hadn't expected Draco to be angry with her for not noticing it [although he might have been angry at himself, as he knew Harry had headaches].

Also, I really liked reading the conversation between Lucius and Harry. Appropriately, I felt really bad for Draco. It is sad that Draco had to remind Lucius about his profession and to almost beg for letters [even though Harry's purpose for Lucius' help is more pressing]. Did you intend for Lucius' to not hesitate when Harry asked him of the favor and smiled at Harry to truly be acting on Lucius' part? Or is that just what Draco's telling himself?

So many little things about Harry and Draco's later conversation as enjoyable as well. Although Harry's question was abrupt, because Harry hadn't noticed any sort of pained reaction on Draco's part, it was sad to read [and understandable] that Draco was hurt to be asked that after the kiss. At that point, in Harry's pov I had laughed since Harry had sat there wondering how Draco was able to flirt with him on the subject.

    Enjoyable chapter. :)

Thanks for updating no need to apologize. I have been waiting eagerly and I love the new chapter. How can I blame you for not updating fast enough when I can't find the time to do simple things in my life, let alone write pages worth of fascinating stories.

Thank you for the promise of regular updates. I'm sure you must be busy with all the stories you write. They're all wonderful by the way. Thanks for another fantastic chapter. (I would have reviewed sooner, but I was computerless for awhile)

I really enjoyed this chapter. It put Narcissa in a very different light and made her much more human and motherly...i really like that side of her.

I know this'll sound weird, but it was strange reading this chapter without all the spacings. Not sure why I'm commenting on that. lol Anyways, I do love your Narcissa. The scene with Lucius was beautiful.

Her later encounter with Harry confused me a bit, however. She had seen that Harry was using the chair for balance, right? Is that why she was unhappy, that he was showing so plainly his need for support? I thought that would be something she would want, inside the walls of Malfoy Manor? Or was Harry not using it so much for regular balance, as he was using it for balance because of the headaches?

As for the headache curse, since she took it into herself and did not vanish it, will any headaches affect her because of it? It was amusing to read her thoughts on Harry being not stupid or not unintelligent just in the way it seems you have to work from the ground up with the Malfoys. Afterall, they hardly trust anyone, and could only do so with the real act of sacrifice.

If possible, I think I appreciated even more Narcissa's thanks to Lily in her perspective. I can't be sure, but I think this was the first time [Bloody] I had ever heard anyone show gratitude to Lily and I really enjoy how it was handled here. I really like seeing how Narcissa genuinely likes Harry, and enjoys being able to be a mother to him. Wonderful job with this chapter. ^^ Happy Thanksgiving/November. ^^
