Reviews for Eternal Mistakes On The Spotless Soul

I'm even more convinced now upon reading these last three chapters so far, that this is strongly leaning towards fate. Yet even fate can have a messed up idea of how things should go. I'm looking forward to reading more. My thoughts are focused on her diary, what she wrote in it, what clues are there to help him find her, where she will go, and her thoughts on the pregnancy. 39 weeks is a long time to have to make a decision about a baby. And will she change her mind in the time it takes for him to find her and get her to sign the papers? And will his change also after reading her diary? So many questions!

    Can't wait for the update,

Oh dear, I'm not sure I can keep reading this. Your Severus is horrible and I don't like this Nalina person at all. I get all tightened when I read your story. I'm beginning to think, I'll just stop reading and come back when you're done to check out the ending.
I don't like to read about babies being treated like the way Severus is treating his and Hermione's "bastard."
I have a friend whose ex-boyfriend did the same thing to her, and it wasn't pretty. He's no longer in the child's life at all (and its many years later) but that little bit of your story is too close to home. Your Severus is really reminding me of this other guy, who was at the end of the day a really mean and selfish man.
Not that I usually leave reviews like this, but your Severus is really looking out to be a terrible man in this one. Maybe I'll wait until your next chapter and see...

I was kinda on the fence about this story (I mean, I couldn't help disliking Nalina and hating Snape for acting that way towards Hermione...), but chapters 9 & 10 have me hooked. I guess asking for more so soon after getting three chapters is asking a bit much? *begs*

Well love the story!!! so now things i do hope are going to start to change some. poor severus to loss all that i feel very sorry for him. but i think he is being stuborn and just plain mean. i cant believe that he would do that to her! or any one for that matter. though i am wonder what is with hermiones research, it seems a bit careless or even ruthless to evertrying to experiment on a living until better results occur. but i am assuming that you have a reason. i am really looking forward to what will happen to severus now. i do feel sorry for harry that was terrible what and how ginny just left harry, but i am assuming that they were having trouble before just harry was too blind to notice i suppose. well now that i have totally blabed away i will let you write. :) until next time!

This is turning out to be a very interesting spin. I cant wait to see where Hermione turns up and how Severus responds.

Alrighty....lets see if I can make sense of my tangled thoughts here.....

This could be a Jerry Springer episode LMAO...."I got pregnant by my daddy's best friend but he cheated on me and now the other girl is pregnant and she crashed my wedding....."(no offense is meant in that, by the way) You have alot of stories going on here. The NM/SS angle....why was she living with Sev? Of all people to give your childs care over to, why him? Why would LM approve such a match? Was the baby really Sevs? is that why Nalina was so desperate to marry? Then there is Ginny and Draco...their affair, their meddling....then the Baby boy....you seem to have written yourself into a corner with the HG/SS relationship, I am insterested to see how you resolve that.

    Good luck and Happy Writing!!

YOU are killing me with this. I have not felt so baldly for Severus since I read about the whole Lily fiasco in the original series. This man is followed by loss and unanswered what ifs. I am patiently waiting to find out what Hemione is going to do and, I am all to curious about Dracos role in this whole thing. In response to your comment before the latest chapter: I think all brilliant minds have a little insanity in them. That little bit is what makes them brilliant. Can't wait for more. Well done!!!!!

Again, how old is this Malfoy girl? Draco's twin? Older, younger?

Sooner or later he is going to realize that his grief is mis-directed. He's blaming Hermione for HIS actions and HIS choices. He's blaming an innocent baby for those same things. He's blaming Hermione for something he KNOWS Ginny did, even though he KNOWS that Hermione was tricked into it.

The only thing I can see that Hermione made a mistake in doing was lying about her name when she 1) was VERY drunk and ran away from him to a bathroom to puke, 2) he persued her into the bathroom to half force her to have sex (while her pussy was saying yes, the rest of her seemed to be protesting and most definitely not of the ability to make rational decisions). I won't go so far as to call this "rape" but he was rather determined, wasn't he? She was wasted -- way more drunk than he was and HE was the one that persued her. What's more, even through his alcohol hazed brain, I think he was well aware of just how wasted she was -- it was just karma that it came back to being a witch that he randomly fucked instead of some muggle he'd never see again. His bad.

As sad as it is for Severus to lose the one he loved, this guy is a dickhead. Again, he'll lose what little he has left (his son) if he can't even see the forest for the trees. If he is as smart as everyone gives him credit for, then he should get to the bottom of what Draco and Ginny were up to and why. Again, what was their motivation for having Hermione crash the wedding? There seems to be no purpose.

One reviewer thought it was crass for her to offer the adoption to him a weeks post tragedy. How so? She explained that the adoption agency was pushing her to make a decision and she felt he deserved to make the first choice, being the biological father. It would have been cold and crass to mail a letter or send someone in her stead. She also tried to convey her sympathy and she feels guilty for something she didn't cause.

Someone pointed out that this isn't really a SS/HG story. They have a good point, especially, if everyone loses in the end. Other than a one night stand that has repercussions that end in tragedy for everyone involved, including a baby being given up for adoption because NEITHER parents want it, you may just want to categorize this as Severus/Other or General Angst, or even perhaps, Ginny/Draco. I see no SS/HG here.

Bloody effing hell woman! What were you thinking? You are not, I repeat NOT supposed to make me like the other woman. I said before I was sorry that she died but you did not have to give me their back story. Not fair. Not fair. I cannot like her, I cannot feel sorry for her!

That night was not Hermione's fault. He should have kept it in his pants, and She should not have acted the immature child and left him the way she did.

Some of us read this instead of doing their work and it is hard to explain to your boss why you are yelling about some blasted woman and why you are crying and asking to have an early lunch when you practically just got to the office.

Okay enough ranting. You woman are cruel and I can only hope that you are not so sadistic that you will let that man take his anger out on Hermione and/or the boy more than he has done. I understand his grief, I do know that it is cathartic to cry and perhaps take out your anger on those you feel caused your loss, but I also know that at times like that some things are said that you later regret and sometimes the other person is unable to get past how you hurt them and things cannot be worked out.

This has been a long review and this is the most that I have reviewed on this site. I think I've only reviewed maybe once or twice before, and only one liners. I know now that I should not read this while at work, I await your next post.

Oh. Let's just take a moment to breathe on that...

I felt that punch to the gut.

Seriously I don't have any clue how this will be a HG/SS story past what it is right now. I almost see next chapter ending with HG back to killing lycans with a housefull of cats. The end. To make any attempt at returning to talk to him would be so completely crass. (And then she'd have the award for swinging the biggest pair - not you m'dear) Wow. To inflict herself on him like that. Wow. Even if he's wrong in blaming her, showing up to his garden like that was tasteless. People who are that raw in their grieving should be allowed their time to be. Sending an owl would have been much smarter. Impersonal, but smarter.

And of course, even in death, Albus' ego knows no bounds. He has to stir the cauldron.

But what of the boy? What indeed. Thus far it seems that baby is the only one who isn't a complete fuckhead. That, and I really liked the kicking everytime she used the 'A' word.

Oh your Snape is one nasty piece of work.
Hmm, goodness I must be a hopeless romantic, lol, still hoping he's gonna love the little baby, if not Hermione.
    Update soon.

Ouch! I don't think I can read any more. I understand his grief and his need to lash out but there was no need for him to take it out on the child. It was not his fault that the daughter of the other woman died with her, I don't believe for one moment that that was Hermione's intention, to replace that child with hers. If he is going to be like this for the rest of the story I don't think I can continue to read this. Perhaps when it is all over I will peek at the last chapter to see the conclusion of this sad little tale. I will probably not last that long so I await your response to this review in the next chapter. Good day madam!
