Lucius was probably behind Nalina's miscarriages, too, by use of a potion or spell or something. I can see him not wanting to pass any inheritence to a grandchild that he didn't approve of the father. I get the feeling that Severus was most definitely not his first choice.

BTW, now that the miscarriages and mismatched due date is in the open, will it be revealed how far along she actually was and/or if she was actually pregnant?

I still have to wonder, however, the purpose for Draco wanting to stop the wedding. The wedding itself seemed irrelevant to his inheritance; it was the baby, the next Malfoy heir, that was more of the issue. That one has be a little confused.

And what Ginny's agenda is, I don't know. Unless that documentation she found directly effects her, I'm not sure what her motivation for crashing the wedding was either. Even if she knows that Bill is only her half brother, what would be the point of stopping Snape and Nalina from marrying?

whoa!!!! Another moment when the music kicks in and we wait impatiently for the next episode!

I totally love this story - but it would be lovely if the answers to the reviews were on the review page and not within the chapter - I find it a bit distracting.... and when i think I have a lovely long chapter to get my teeth into, I realise most of it is comments :(

Oh well... onwards... hope you're writing quickly!

    Chapter 16-
Miscariages? I was under the impression that she wanted to get married before the baby was born (regardless of who the father was). We know that he apparently wasn't serious about marrying her, but miscarriages? That seems so unnecessarily cruel, especially from a man who by all appearances loved her so utterly (not that grief doesn't magnify emotions)
So, I guess my question is, why was it so vital for her to be married before giving birth to this child, whereas with the previous pregnancies it wasn't? You would have thought that if it was important they'd have been wed the first time she discovered she was carrying his child. Especially if we're talking multiple pregnancies... which is just plain sad.

I know that a man as intelligent as Severus Snape can count. He knows when Nalina would have gotten preggers, but his joy at being a father easily could have clouded his reasonable thought process. Regardless to who might have knocked her up (and I shudder to think about that impending cliffie) the child was his, he took emotional ownership for his daughter. I wonder if he'll ever get to the point where he's willing to do that for his son.

I'm still asking, 'but what of the boy?' The story keeps getting obfusicated and plot thickens with rabbits and rabbit-holes, but I'm still wondering about the baby we haven't seen. Ok, I get that he's being held as a ward of the state, but geez! Who's taking care of him? Infants need love and reassurance. Aside from the fact that the unnamed baby boy is more attuned to what's going on than I think than his parents are giving him credit for.

Oh, and the boy deserves a name. But that's my two knuts worth. If one of the parents named him though, it would be one step towards emotional attachment and humanizing him. Lord knows he's been referred to as 'it' long enough. Dumbass parents need to get their asses out of Russia.

Go get your baby boy, Hermone! You can do it! Don't let him become one more casualty in this fucked up Malfoy scheme. Man, don't you get tired of the Malfoys playing God all the time?
And then go into hiding while you make that cure! Maybe Sprout and the Hogwarts House Elves can help her through while she gets her shit together.

CC -- Thank you! I DO appreciate all your hard work! :D

    Chapter 15-

    Oh.

Interesting plot, but I'm still hung up on Sev's grief. I don't know if/how meeting the twin will help him with his grief.

But then if everything is taking more of a soap opera twist perhaps I should have seen the identical twin separated at birth angle. Does Sev have an evil twin? Will he be in an 'incurable' coma? Amnesia? Kidnapping? Or maybe kidnapped by evil twin who replaces you only to fall victim to a coma, wakes up and has amnesia. Thus far I haven't tasted Cheese from this fic. I hope it won't go there though.

    Chapter 14-
Somewhere, something isn't quite right. Wow. Can we possibly get more vague than that? Leave it to Dumbles to bring us the completly irrelevant. Yep, I suppose such information that earth-shattering couldn't wait until morning.

Sigh. So the roadster got an update. But I'm warning you girl, don't bring it back on empty.

I do not like this at all. It seems that poor Hermione is fated to have that silver haired wench haunt her for the rest of her days. Severus will never love Hermione with a living breathing version of his Nalina walking about. Just great, just great. I'm not even going to complain about anything.

Excellent. I liked that how you wrote that Nalina was a twin and thought it was nice that she talked to Hermione and then told Severus everything. I hope that Molly Weasley will eventually tell more about why she did what she did. I think that maybe someone has some information on her(possibly the fact that Arthur isn't Bill's father) and that is why she took Lenore away. I hope that Hermione will be found soon. I look forward to reading more.

You are a genious. Severus has got to be beside himself. Hell I'm beside myself and I'm just reading a story (yes I know these are not real people I am just very fond of them.) Anyway Loved the Yoda line that was a classic. I can not fathom how the Weasleys fall into all of this. More specifically Molly she knows more than she lets on in my opinion and she can be easily lead astray. Will we ever find out who Bills father is? That one has me thinking out loud (the hubby thinks I've finally lost it.). Well this has put my poor kitty in a coma you have gone so far and beyond that I daresay this is one of the best stories I have read in a very, very long time. Can't wait for more. Well done!!!!!

    MmmHmmm
You see? Everyone's got their own agendas, especially every Malfoy. Ah, but Molly hiding an adulterous affair and it's someone who fathered Bill....
I keep coming back to Lucius, people. Bill is extremely hansome, yeah? IDK
Anyway, Lenore has more of a story to tell, obviously, so maybe she knows what the deal was with Nalina and her supposed baby that she apparently was carrying for over 10 months.
Hmm, do you think Lenore ever swapped places with Nalina when she was in the mood to get laid by tall, dark and beaky?

Did Lenore get pegged as magical and get sent an invitation to Hogwarts? If so, wouldn't have seemed a little more than coincidental that she and Nalina look exactly the same? That would be kind of hard to keep a secret from the entire student body, I would think.

I know, let's make a deal. Hermione gets her plants, finds the elusive recipe to create the cure for lycanthropy, restores her good reputation, takes her baby, leaves the country to get rich developing potions, and lives happily ever after with Charlie Weasley, while Snape spends the rest of his life regretting that he shunned his son, and pines away for Hermione.
Meanwhile, everyone else's secrets and lies are exposed and everyone ends up sad and miserable and lonely and hating eachother because that is what they deserve.

Okay, I had a migraine, took a painkiller, and couldn't sleep and I'm a little rummy right now. LOL

Eject...eject...eject...Yoda? 1. Please don't answer reviews in the opening of your story. And if you must do this because you can't figure out how to do it on the review board, certainly don't make these answers longer than the chapter you post.
    2. And speaking of chapter length, you are not posting what would be considered a chapter. Make them longer, more structured and in line with the last chapter. This chapter is the second (or third...can't remember) time you have go so totally off track with it's content and form that I had to hit my back button to make sure it was the story I was thinking of.
