So mysterious! You're giving us lots to ponder - an excellent start.

And I wanted to thank you for your "personal statements" - they made this Yankee smile. It's good to have the beginnings of respect again from other citizens of the world.

    Cheers

I love how you set things up in the story. So many authors just tell the facts. I like that you weave some mystery into it.

George is a wreck still. It's not surprising but so sad.

I can't think right now, headache, but I just want to tell you how much I enjoy this story.

Wow, Great story so far. Poor Severus, for years, just trapped within his own mind, lost to all left behind in the wizarding world. I wonder how he ended up there in a muggle hospital in the first place. Looking forward to more chapters soon.

i'm excited to see where you'll take this/when snape will start wondering why he's so afraid of being caught moving?

I am so intrigued by the way you portray his recovery. It seems that Hermione is the catalyst, but how? I love this story so much. I can't wait for more, but I guess I'll have to. :(

Thanks for the congrats on our new president. Those of us that voted for him have high hopes.

This is a simply amazing first attempt at fiction. You really have a talent for writing. Your writing style is very, I would say, mature. You have a way with words and great observation skills. I loved your description of Muggle London on Hermione's way to work and her perception of it. The ability to embellish a story with vivid snippets like these is one of the things that make a good writer. Snape's perception of his surroundings, with the recurring themes of "white" and "twenty-six", that was another excellent piece of writing.

I sincerely hope you will continue writing. I have very much enjoyed what I've read so far. Great job.

Wow. That last chapter was a great bit of writing. I loved how you used the number 26 as not only a mantra but a unifying theme. Great job.

This chapter gives a new meaning to the phrase 'internal tension'. After five years of what is in essence sensory deprivation, I can imagine tht Snape is going to be a bit OOC. I also imagine a long recovery and a hell of a lot if unresolved anger issues, abandonment fears and an increase in his already elevated paranoia?

This is an intriguing beginning! And I like the way you've brought Severus back from the dead; most of us just use a bezoar or a potion and be done with it. You've integrated his recovery with the main line of your story and made it very interesting. More, please!

You had me crying at the description of George's loss of his 'duet', but as I read on...

"...the unlikely figure of her Potions Master the image that represented the waste of these wars, the pain and the hurt. The ruthless treatment of so many innocent and brave people, slain with little more thought than squashing an insect, and yet each one of them pivotal and meaningful and important."

At this insight, I feel like I will never look at Severus Snape the same again. A lump is still in my throat and I am grateful that at least one person mourns the loss of him.

Thank you my friend. With tears stinging my eyes I applaud your work. It is at this point that I would stand and begin to call "encore!"
