This was one of your best stories. It was a change of pace for you and I'm glad you put it out there for all of us to read. Looking forward to your next story as always. Extremely well done!!!!!!!!

i am really glad that you updated!!! i really loved the way it worked out. ron did really well much better than i thaught anyway, i still do feel slightly for him but..... okay its over. :) dear draco he will come around but narcissa she is just as i excepted she would be. i do feel bad about the mansion though--i really liked the idea of it, but C'est la vie. okay i do hope that the next chapters are coming soon and i still hate that it only has two chapters left. oh well maybe i can talk you into a sequel. ;)

I thought I would feel so happy having read this - but I do feel sad. I actually feel bad for Ron & Draco. It's hard to leave something so comfortable and known behind, even though you know it's the right thing for everyone. I know there will be a silver lining here somewhere :)

Clean and sort of simple (from the readers POV) good for them. I read Gilda's book, she was a hell of a woman - the quote works. Very brave of Ron, you made him so real, when I'm used to him being so one dimentional. Well done. Lucius...what a man. Thanks for the updates!

Wow, I can't believe how badly I felt for Ron. Her really loves her. I was pleased you had both Harry and Ron supportive of Hermione. That first and foremost their friendship was most important. I don't really give two shakes for Narcissa, she's so evil in her hate and sourness. I hope Draco supports his dad after the numbness wears away. Awesome job. Sitting on the edge of my seat for your next two chapters.

SG, I've never heard any marriage dissolution go like this: nice (the opposite of a fight breaking out) and neat (here are my divorce terms and conditions...I already have a new place to live).

I've noticed you've given us reasons why the marriages weren't working out. Why? If people can see that they are miserable with their spouse but also feel like they should remain married...why bother bringing someone else into the already crowded misery? I hear it said I was wrong BUT I had a really good reason.... Why not have a really good reason before a married person brings a single person/another married person into the lecherous mix? If the married person is rational enough to recognize a problem, why not carry the reason forward to not involving a new person?

Would they divorce if there was no one waiting for them on the other side? If not, how can the new spouse know they weren't the out and it could all happen again.

    OMG.

This was a like a rollercoaster! I actually liked Ron!

Narcissa is a twat, and she deserves to have something horrible yet funny happen to her. Knock that dog off her head.

I can't believe this is coming to an end! It's been such a wonderful journey!

    Looking forward to more!

Either you posted more than one chapter (yea!) or I got behind on my reading. I loved the sensitivity both Hermione and Lucius employed in separating from their spouses.

Excellent contrasts of the separation scenes; Hermione and Ron were far more connected than Lucius and Narcissa, so theirs was more emotional, Lucius' was more like a board meeting. Totally dictated by the family dynamics in both cases, and completely consistent with your characters. I do like the way he Lucius gives Narcissa the satisfaction of becoming the tragic heroine for her society friends, though. He knows her very well, aswell as having Draco administer her funds--now the kid can find out what his father's been dealing with!
