How better to temper the ache from a heart break than to hear about it from the cat's point of view. Brilliant.

MAAHAHHAHAH i love that last bit with crooks, he's such a funny little kitty =] man these last few chapters sure have been angsty....i must remember not to read them in public! i audibly sniffed at "The wretched sharp tang of losing his wife was agony. " and i imagine my nose got really red because my eyes watered....what a way to turn that around! i still feel sorry for hermione but i really felt for severus this time around..poor kids, why doesn't severus just realize that he wants little snapeys? hopefully things turn up in the next chapter =]....please?

I humbly kneel at the altar of Saint Severus and The Archangel Apollina, offering gifts of pickled walnuts, tandooori chicken, 11 bottles of Merlot and a pint of Guiness. Please could I have more? LOVE IT!

Wow. It's taken me two days to catch up to the current chapter, posted after I started. What a facinating tale you've created. I'm floored by the depth and work put into it and I have been highly entertained by every chapter. I also enjoyed the often droll latin titles.

Great dialogue, inventive inner monologues and wonderful character representation and development throuought. I love finding quality work, and that is what this is; High Quality, (or as Severus might say, "Adequate"). And angst-whore that I am, that need has also been well satisfied. Thank you.

I look forward to more...and soon. I'm afraid I've been spoiled to have had 49 consecutive chapters to read uninterrupted and don't want to resign myself to waiting, but as we all now; life ain't fair. Absolutely great job.

I have been following this story since about chapter 25, and that chapter finally drove me to review. What a story! Unlike you, I am a fan of Draco, and yours is the first HG/SS I have read, and is currently the only, because yours is a hard act to follow! Right now, I feel like yelling at Sev. What is he up to, driving her away like that? I think he has belatedly realised just how much Hermione actually takes his words to heart. Curse loopholes! Here's to hoping Sev finally comes to his senses and Ffoulkes can get him out to do a large amount of grovelling. Although the fault does not lie entirely within the walls of Azkaban, Hermione must realise how much she depends on him if she has had to go back to her liquid sunshine (shock horror!!), and I'm sure she'll regret her hasty decision to annul their marriage. AND, I absolutely love how you broke up the angst with the Crooks dialogue at the end, hilarious! Anyway, enough of my waffling. That was an awesome chapter, absolutely on a par with the whole story, which is totally awesome and amazing, and I look forward to the next chapter with great anticipation! As has happened to me before during a great story, I will be checking daily for updates! Much love and cookies x

An excellent chapter. I hope that Severus will finally realize that he needs Hermione and contacts his solicitor, Mr. Ffoulkes, so that he can be released from Azkaban. Then he can find Hermione and tell her how much he needs her and wants to be with her. I can't wait to read more.

Thank you for the update. I have a little knot of anxiety caused by the pain they're in. It's so tragic and pointless.

    Oh Sweet Mother of Hel.
My heart aches for both of them like I am the one going through this.
You've got an innate sense of how to tell a story that MEANS something to the reader. On occasion I have gone back and re-read the entire story just for the pleasure of watching the events unfold again. Your pacing and prose are superb, the editing has gotten tighter and you know just when to break up the angst with a bit of humor to keep the reader from getting too depressed (I adore the bit at the end of 49 from Crooks POV). While I have some suspicions as to where the story is headed from here I'm looking forward to watching the details play out.
Incidentally, I've got a sneaking suspicion that if you were to turn your talents to writing professionally (presuming you aren't a professional writer blowing off stem by writing fanfiction) you would be on the bestseller lists in no time. I know I would gladly pay to read novels by you if they are all as well crafted as this.

That was no coup de grace`, that could best be classed as a pyrrhic victory: taking the fatal hit and going down in flames with the opponent. Now, what can Severus do to rise from the ashes of his marriage? Can't wait to see what happens next--she'd better give him back his slinky!

I wonder when it will hit Hermione that she's made a horrible decision. And I do so love your writing!! Excellent writing as always!!

What broke my heart the most was him hiding his wedding band from her, afraid she would take it. God, that just shattered me.

    Brilliant but painful chapter, love.
