No more cracking joints? Hooray, I want some, too! Will somebody, some where, PLEASE write a story where Lockhart escapes and randomly obliviates Skeeter into the Thickey Ward? I just can't stand that woman. But I love the idea of in inquiry into the warden's "behvioral modification' program. He should be an inmate. Then let's see how he likes being modified.

My goodness this is amazing! I've been reading it for days before and after work. I love it, every moment. I love how your building it up and how well you go into the characters' lives and emotions. It's just really beautiful and I can't wait to see what happens next. :) Just astounding.

Hmmm, I wonder how Hermione's insecurities will manifest themselves in her relationship with Severus...methinks there is some angsty humor ahead ;) Keep up the good work!!!

This story is fantastic. Normally I loathe and detest Snamione fics with a burning passion, but i think you may have softened me to the genre. Well done you!!
By the way, I love how easily Snape's Northernisms come to you. Until you mentioned being American, I had you pegged as a fellow Manchester lass. (I also detest reading American English, so I love you for bothering to write in 'real' English)

i've been binging on your fic for the past 2 days. i absolutely adore it. the humor and wit hooked me despite the slow pace and the decided lack of fluffiness; and even w/ superfluous chapters describing in detail the nuances of hermione's business. it's wonderful and terrible at once. and although at first mione's insensitivity borderes on cruel at times; it's amazes when someone can snape look amicable by comparison for any amount of time, your characterization gave it reason enough to b understandable/relatable. i've been gasping, giggling, growling, banging my the wall... literally. when there's and obvious solution that's always beyond a characters reach, i have the habit of smacking myself in frustration on the nearest available object. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE CAN'T COMMUNICATE! but it's so true, effective, common human failing one could hardly argue against it. people voicing aloud all their inner most feelings, even in a work of fiction, is too ridiculous to believe. *sigh* what'll it take for snape to realize that languishing in jail, wasting what's left of his life, isn't the best form of penance? i'm hoping mione finds the right angle to play. a confession of love and discussing different paths to repentance would b a great start. but i guess the problem is they're still to afraid to stop playing and b concretely bare-faced honest. can't blame, 'em being that vulnerable while they still doubt eachothers feelings is frightening, but they're getting there, slow and steady. i dread the thought that he'll possibly remain in prison; or that he'll take so long to finally free himself, that that'll be the end of the story, and i won't get to read what their lives are like after that. although the marriage law spin is old-hat, this could be the best, most original fic i've read yet; so i'll be eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Wow, what an asshole of a friend. I mean, apparently Hermione isn't much better, but at least she faces goes to them to get information. He just avoided her completely! Jerkoff. And, poor Sev, nightmares and uncertainty about his future. Well, he is just going to have to accept that he is leaving Azkaban a "hero". lol Thanks!

Oh good grief... *rolling eyes*. Did he really think she was the only witch in his life? She doesn't HAVE to compete with a memory, does she? Why would she want to? She is who she is and she is very special and wonderful in her own right... Severus hasn't loved Lily in the way he loves her... there is NO comparison..... sheesh... *runs to shake sense into the witch*

Now, I really want to know what Hermione is going to do. Will she back right off and stop visiting Severus? Will she confront him about it? Will she ignore it?
And about Harry...although I initially struggled with him being written that way, after really thinking about it, it does make sense. When people experience trauma, it can stunt their emotional development. In the chaos and trauma that surrounded him really since he was 14 years old, his emotional development could pause there. Add to that the adoration of the masses, and his psyche could interpret that as support and agreement for his juvenile behaviour. Interesting twist!

Ohoh... She did not take that very well! Might be understandable, competing with a dead person is never easy and with one of saint like reputation. Poor Hermione, but they'll get over it!

Harry behaves like a spoilt teenager. Okay, he had to go through a lot, so I guess it is a delayed reaction to his non-existent carfree youth, but still. He should be a better friend. Bad Harry!

Oh :( I'm sorry Hermione feels so sad and I hate what's happening to Hermione's friendships.

What's so pervy about Severus being in love with Lily. They grew up together in Spinner's End as friends. It's like how Ron loved Hermione and there's nothing wrong with that.
