~Hello:) What a marvellous story-line. I am indeed waiting for Hermione to realise that Snape's just played her entirely to his own advantage, and for the other shoe to drop as it were. Please update soon ;)

i'm so intrigued as to where this story is going although i can't wait til we get to the point in the story where, i forget which chapter but where severus' lawyer person comes in saying ready to present those papers to get out of this hell hole? (or something to that extent), where that whole bit is explained......although i imagine it has to do with what he will use to get out of prison later on where he and hermione can be together after.....? or something along the lines....i hope =] hehe love the story! keep writing!

The uptight sanctimonious Hermione you write is both annoying and funny to 'watch'. Though JKR did write her that way to a lesser degree. I really want to read where her plans really go bad and he gets out on appeal. Preferably BEFORE they're on good terms ;)

Hi AV. I have a theory about him, but I will hold out on it for another update to see if I am anywhere near right. lol And, I have to agree with him, I think scared, lost girl is much closer. I see your Hermione to be a lot like me, fearless and completely in charge...on the outside, but a complete mess on the inside. *shrug* And, Severus, oh Sev...um, why should she be so scared? Again...I have my theories. ha ha

    Thanks! HG4eva

SEROUSLY?! You're going to stop there? Ah, *dramatic wand flourish, with stabbing motion* "Goethe!" My long-dead philosopher is difficult to read. But so am I. If your hubby survived, I suppose my friend can, too. But *score* his visa was declined. Should I be happy about that? Probably not. I love Pud--fantastic. "Hadn't a damn thing to wear."--what does one wear to a forced marriage in a prison? I don't think I have the proper attire, either. Oh, and THANK YOU for not making Snape's middle name "Tobias."

Great story so far! Way to keep everyone in character. Although, I have to selfishly say that I WISH you would update more often! I love your writing :)

Boy, Hermione really does dislike Severus, doesnt she? LOL. If she thought he was disgusting but kissed heavenly...then there is some hope here. LOL. Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading the next chapters.

Oh, my dear, I have a feeling a few dishes may be broken--probably not out of joy. As it happens, one of my best friends is Jewish--highly unusual in this, erm, area--which was really cool until he decided he was going to up and leave me in this hell hole for Israel and the army. Bah! *deep breath* The only Ffoulkes I know was a curator of the British Museum many, many years ago, and that was a C. J. Ffoulkes (interested in armor and weaponry).

Back to... pertinent things (sorry, my mind works in weird, weird ways and it's very hard to censor), I love that Hermione said "and maybe monkeys will fly out my butt"--that is fantastic. And when Snape found out he was THE LAST deatheater--well, let's just put it this way--robes-60 galleons, wand-40 galleons, finding out you're the end of an era-priceless. As priceless as the discussion of Hermione's "needs" and the technicalities. "And that was how precious bits were lost." I love the fact that they carry on like that in spite of the fact that there's someone else there. Neither of them are the type to give a damn about what other people think.

Oh, and I will be a friend. Congrats on the lj. You will recognize my lj name as it implies marriage to a long deceased philosopher, but I don't want to type it here.

*snort* this is hilarious! I can just see it coming: Hermione has to cater to his every whim, make his ancestral home livable and when she finally thinks it's getting better, he will get out of Azkaban with a big scandal.

Cohabitation, fidelity clause and children, huh? Hermione is in way over her head!

    I can't wait!
