    Hello,
I started reading your wonderful story.
I am all caught up in chapters when I saw the last update.
Is it possible you have this finished elsewhere?
    I hope so.
Your story had me staying up to the wee hours of the morning trying to catch up.
If it isn't complete that will be very sad. It is such a wonderful story. I have not come across anything like it before in Potterverse. I've been reading stories for over 13 years.
    Hope to discover elsewhere,
    Patty

I have meant to review this story before now and feel extremely remiss! I wanted to let you know that I have logged on often recently to check and see if there has been an update.....and there hasn't. I have to admit to being slighty, okay completely, disappointed! This is a fantastic fic. I love the dynamic between Hermione and Lucius and both of their characterizations seem so realistic. I love the snarkiness, the mishaps and the growing sexual tension. I am hoping the words of encouragement (I ADORE it!) will help to spur on the plot bunny.

Okay, it really irritates me that you don't have more reviews! As an author who can appreciate someone with a unique storytelling talent, it drives me nuts that no one is lifting their fingers to type you a word or two. SO, I will do that today.

This chapter was pretty much perfect. The reader can really feel that they are on the cusp of change, but we can also feel how tenuous it is. I'll admit to being worried that at any moment, one or both of them would spoil the tranquility. That said, the isolation and tranquility of the wilderness seems to have gone a long way in both relaxing Hermione and enabling her to see things through different eyes. Lucius has also had a major attitude adjustment. He's a smart man, but it took him long enough to realize that Hermione would not be won by his usual arrogance and showmanship.

Their wine-fueled discussion in the tent was written beautifully. I think Lucius said exactly the right thing for a change. He didn't lie and say he loved her, but there was something absolutely wonderful about him noting her strength. He said and didn't say just enough.

I'm glad Hermione finally told him about her encounter with the destiny ball. And after the end of this chapter, I don't see how she can escape falling for him, because I absolutely fell for him all over again when he suggested breaking into the Department of Mysteries. That's Lucius's charisma in a nutshell.

This chapter was incredibly well done. All of them are well done, but this was the first chapter where Hermione's frustration and annoyance are no longer the predominant mood. It flared up after the bear encounter, but she has realized that this may not entirely be Lucius's fault.

So now, it seems, they are trying to take their destiny by the horns. I doubt it will be a smooth ride for them, but I can hope, right? I look forward to the rest of the story and am going to attempt to browbeat several others into reviewing more. :)

    Happy Holidays.

That's going to be hazardous, since Lucius can't see anybody and can't be seen, and she doesn't have clearance anymore. Can he even see magical objects or doesn't his curse extend that far? But I love the way he put it! LOL! Poor bear!

Great story, and great chapter! Naked in front of two men who don't know the other is there, and going to the great american wilderness (I'm a backpacker, so LOVED that as well). Can't wait for the trip!

Amazingly written and detailed, that I could almost smell the interesting aroma of Venice. Moments of deep emotional distress for Lucius' plight that I almost cried... Brilliant!

    And you stopped there?????

I hope they get to St. Mungos after they are left alone!
But I think that will take some time!

And it seems he's starting to sort of getting under her skin. Or he's trying to make that happen.

    So more soon!

Eek! What a cliffie! Will she be ok? I'm guessing physically - yes. It seems like mentally, she might have a tough time. Could it be that her perception of "bad luck" will be changed eventually? Maybe it's wishful thinking... Can't wait for more!
