D: Oh man, I knew a warning was an unhappy ending, but that was far from what I expected. :/ Well, I suppose Draco is happy... But really, the end was very sad. It wasn't too hard to figure out what was going on, despite the jumping around. I love Harry's last few lines at the end, saying how he had dreamed it, the other bit about dreams not interfering with Draco's life, and then him existing for Draco's sake. Very nicely done of you. ^__^ Very interesting that Draco's dream had so many ...difficulties in it. Being disowned, problems with his career, Harry losing his, etc. Just a stray thought.

I'm slow and retarded because I know there is something more here and I'm missing it. This is beautiful and I want to figure it out. Give me time.

Very sad, indeed. Hopefully, Draco made his potion correctly -- and hopefully, he'll find what he was seeking.

Like so many of your other works, I enjoy the English literature references. If you ever run out of snippets to work from, you might try Austen: "For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbors, and laugh at them in our turn?"

Thanks for so many wonderful stories.

First of all, that was interesting.

Second of all, I need a footnote..and a huge clue with bells on..about the ending.

dude. i AM confused. random reader theories: I'm guessing harry left draco (he died? from that thing that made him vomit), and draco went love-sick crazy took a potion that made him into snow white, except now he can stay in lala land forever with a dream harry. i guess it makes sense with the quote from hamlet. gosh i read that play so many times. i could even identify it was ophelia's part: the scene where she tries to give flowers to claudius/the wife and sings her flower songs. since she went crazy when she heard hamlet died, and drowned herself, i'm guessing, in a way, draco reflects ophelia. in terms of looks i always think of draco as hamlet (brooding, witty, sharp, etc.)...

anyway, good oneshot! is there hope of you telling us what it's about in the near future?

that was all in draco's dream? in draco's reality within his potion induced comatose sleep? well, i have to admit you really could write some real unhappy ending. why did he chose that over the possibility of the real thing, even as farfetch as it seem at the time before he took the potion? wasn't that kinda like muggle opting for euthanasia? even if someday muggles really could advance into dream engineering technology, i don't think i have the courage to even sample it. thank you for this very sad story. it matched my mood today.

It's been a long time since a story left me helplessly aching. This is a wonderful piece of writing.

aww! That was sweet!... and it was a happy ending after all! I love how you made them realistic like the bare flat to come home to because I think (and I know I'm definitely guilty of this) most authors just find it easier to assume that even if Draco gets disowned or something, they're both just rich anyway... Well done, I really enjoyed that story!
