re: ch 63. Just make sure they pull their knees in tight... your cliffhangers tend to leave me with a feeling of slightly hysterical laughter; you know, the kind when things are so tense that you shouldn't laugh, but you can't help it? Glad to see you back, I hope things are better for you and your family. Best wishes.

This is one of the best stories I ever read.

'Physics properly applied'--I love that. To Draco it must sound like another language. Liren's mindset hopefully can be used against him: he believes Lucius is out of commission for the moment and that he is only dealing with a trio of his 'inferiors'. I wonder if he knows about Angus? We know he is unaware of Severus' involvment. Brilliant story.

On a personal note, I hope you and your family are recovering from such a terrible tragedy. Please know that all of us here are sending our best wishes and sympathies for your loss. Take care.

I seem to have missed several chapters, but I went back and read all of them. Your story just keeps getting better and better! All the important characters are gathered at the moment of crisis. I'm glad they have Harry with them, as he is a strong fighter. Liren is diabolical and sneaky, and he knows they are coming, so it's going to be a mighty battle. Maybe Snape and Angus can help in some way. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this is all going to play out. Excellent writing and imaginative plot twists. Please update soon.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My deepest condolences for you and your family!

From what Liren said about Draco being his son it looks like he and Narcissa have been together for quite a long time. Amazing. So she isn't just using him, but probably really loves him, and agrees with all his atrocities. She must be quite a twisted personality herself. Reading this I no longer feel sorry for Lucius that his marriage wasn't what it could have been.

Btw: Don't feel obligated to write something for us readers in a time like this! Your readers feel for you and will want you to go and take care of your "real life". Losing loved ones is very painful and you need to take time off for yourself and your family. We readers love you and support you, and wish you the very best!

*grins* I wouldn't abandon you even if you *do* with hold chapters on occasions *giggles*

ANd this is so Indiana Jones, but that just makes it so much better.

Oh yeah, Dr. Hermione Jones. Love it :D And what an adventure. Braving deep chasms with spikes holding mangled bodies.... *shudder*! Can't get better than that.

Even though: Hermione should consider life with Lucius could prove anything but boring. I'd probably marry him just for his library: ~8 centuries of rich intellectuals collecting interesting and rare books. That should be a heaven for anybody who likes to read!

And now we readers are biting out nails in suspense again:

What other evil mechanical devices will our brave protagonists have to face before they can reach poor Lucius?
Will our three friends manage to overcome all the obstacles along the way?
Is Hermione wearing a hat and a whip? :D (sorry, couldn't resist)

And what about poor Lucius still being shackled in this cave....... Oh No!!!!! :D

Great chapter. Love it. It made my Sunday bright. I think I'll re-watch Raiders of the Lost Ark tonight. :D
Thank you as always for your lovely work!

Ha! Take that, Indiana Jones! Bet they lost a few cases of goods from clumsy porters, back in the day. She's completely mad not marry him since she would never, ever be bored again. In any sense. Of course, refusing to marry Lucius does create some interesting 'jealous lover' scenarios for the future, (snicker).

Oh no! Lucius is still held in that awful cave in chains, and his friends are navigating dangerous and treacherous waters through deadly obstacles! We don't even find out how Lucius is doing now. He might be dead as far as I know. After all, he has been in there for quite a while now. *sobs* *cries* *desperate pleas for Lucius' safety*

    :)

Your story is awesome. I love every minute I spend reading it. You keep the readers in breathless suspense and anticipation of the worst. Will Lucius' friends get to him unscathed? Will he survive his captivity in the hands of a mad sadistic serial killer? Sure this is not looking good. But this is fiction, so I have some hopes.

    :)

Your work is much appreciated. thank you!

*grins* You can't get rid of some of us that easily, Darling. I can't speak for others, but I'm enjoying every second of this story.

((and the "safety words" this time are The refusals. Think it knows something we don't?))

(Blushing) you're welcome. Just how does Draco know where the mooring is, or how slippery the cave interior gets? To quote certain space pirate: 'I have a bad feeling about this!' Make Dobby hurry up with those keys. By the by, where's Angus and Severus? And that blond psycho we love to hate? They should have brought Bill Weasley, a serious curse breaker would come in handy about now.
