*grins and bounces on the edge of the seat* Can't wait to see what happens next, love!

(can I find it hilarious that the vereification words are "apparatus extreme" for this chapter?)

You sneaky....I didn't see that one coming. Brilliant! If he cuts anything important off Lucius I will extremely upset, you do realize that, right? The hair is optional, it can grow back. I am curious as to who's head it was in the jar he was looking at in the last chapter, though. Now I have to wait a whole month for the next update, argh! You should write professionally, you'd be on the NY times best-seller list forever.

*smiles* I'm always willing to be a sounding board for you and gently encourage your writing. *hides the spear and polearms with an innocent smile*

And Luna ha some very valid points. It's nice to see things from her perspective, no matter how she "sees" the world through Wonderland glasses.

And there is the first crack in his pattern. Up until now he's been very careful not to underestimate his brother, but he thinks he can foresee everything they will do. He's only eighteen, mentally. He has missed out on many years of life experiences that the others have gone through. Good god, it's adolescent hubris! Why didn't I think of that before? He probably hasn't even physically changed. NO adolescent can resist the chance to create a little drama. Oh, they've got him if they do it right.

hey, don't let trolls get you down. I really love this story, and anything anyone has to say about the rules in your version of the potterverse isn't really getting how broad the possibilities, or the ridiculousness of arguing about fantasy.

And the plot thickens! I think it's somewhere around the density of pea soup at the moment. *grins*

Glad Tazura's calling the shots and letting Lucien get the party ready for her. Harry can be a bit of an ass from what I can see, but we're also seeing him through other people's eyes at the moment.

*applauds* Bravo! I await the next chapter eagerly!!!

Whatever social faux pas one commits, never allow a sociopath to select your party favors. I also have a feeling they don't know all of his victims, so a guest is going to be a bit of a surprise.

They need to play on Liren's rage at seeing his 'little brother' having the life he was meant to have, the wife, the Manor, the fortune, all of it. And they have to do it in a way that seems completely in character for Lucius or he'll know something is up. He's smart enough to realize the party is bait, but the question is whether or not his ego will override his caution? If he intended Taz to survive, then it won't. If, on the other hand, Taz's survival was an error, then he may feel pressured enough to take a risk. He wants to punish Lucius for usurping his life and definitely for touching Narcissa; oddly she seems to be ok with this, as if she is pushing a bit of her own anger out for Liren to avenge. Did she tell Liren about Baltus getting grabby all those years ago? Perhaps she revived Liren for reasons of her own; otherwise her childhood love wasn't enough motive to bring him out of stasis--it would only complicate her life as a divorcee`. That also means she was in on the plot, you realize. Your story is becoming one of my favorite obsessions, dang it.

A huge compliment, thank you. I do love that everyone seems to be wryly accepting of the budding relationship between Hermione and Lucius; to them it's just fact and they deal so nicely. hooray, Taz is awake! now, what information does Liren WANT to present through her and why? He had to leave her alive for a reason; Ara was an error, so his game plan has to have shifted somewhat. Baltus touched Narcissa, so Liren tortured him to death, the women were dismembered postmortem, so it isn't pain for pain's sake, there must be another purpose despite his pleasure in using 'lesser' beings to accomplish it. He takes what he feels is his right as a superior being--Lucius is going to end up in jar, isn't he?
