I personally think Harry+HG = right pair. I don't care if the coming movie will sway people towards the RW /HG pairing. Rob is a wooze. And Ginny is a fan girl. Hermione drew the short end of the stick in the end.

I don't know anything about a flame, but I can see that some rigid soul would be (gasp) horrified at this story. To me this had all the elements of what is is to be a thinking, feeling, questioning, emotional human being. Harry was brave to go to Hermione and tell her what had been worrying him. Obviously she had been prey to the same... I don't want to call them doubts exactly, but the same last feelings that they needed to address before they committed themselves completely and with no regrets to the ones they loved. Hermione and Harry had been through fire together, they did love each other, but they had to know for sure that their form of love wasn't going to interfere with their choice of mates. I think they both were 99 1/2 percent sure and their decision to close the circle and remain best of friends was healthy and right. Both Ron and Ginny would profit from that one night that Harry spent with Hermione even though they would never know it. I liked this story very much. It was written with sensitivity and, really, a sense of joy you could feel between the two. Wonderful job!

Ignore whoever flamed you, they are not worth it. They are violating the TOS by doing so.

    Good effort!

when i read this i wondered how many people think, in retrospect, "what would have happened if...?" not many of us get the chance to find out. this was a fun little piece of indulgence and i enjoyed being the beta for it.

while i'm here, i'd like to remind franzl that flaming on this site is a violation of the TOS. reviews are supposed to be helpful (CONSTRUCTIVE criticism) and non-abusive. whenever i see a flamer i go right to their own author page to look at their writing; it must be pretty damn good stuff if their condemnation of other writers is so harsh, right? imagine my surprise when i saw you hadn't posted a single story! it's easy to dish out criticism; seems only fair that you should put some of your own work on the line to show you're a good sport about taking it, as well.

come on, lighten up--this is supposed to be fun!
