Great update, Emily. The interaction between Draco and Snape was wonderfully awkward, tense, and unsettled. I hate that Draco couldn't at least put up a brave face for Snape, that was the last thing he needed. But I know he's wrestling with his own demons and seeing Snape like that doesn't really help. I feel for them both, but Draco less, LOL. I'm glad that Harry didn't really take a lot of pity on him. Draco needs to grow a pair and stop being selfish (real canon by the way, good job on that.) I'm worried about Percy giving Harry access, I think it's gonna be helpful for Snape but I also worry about what Harry's gonna do...can't wait to see it: ) Very tense and realistic dialogue. Excellent job : )

    I crave for more!!

The fast recovery of Severus astounded me somewhat, but I enjoy the tenderness, the consideration that shows in the interaction of the characters. It's good, for example, to see a couple break up without the usual irrational rows about who's fault it is and who should pay for what he's done to the other as it is often described in HP fanfiction when Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ginny, or another heterosexual couple breaks up.

I'm anxious to see/read how things evolve between Harry, Ginny, and Severus (I read till half past one last night and continued until I was done this morning even though I really need to take care of other things).

Some random thoughts that I wrote down while reading:

Chapter 2: I already found the statement strange that Prof. Snape would like it if Hermione went into his house and picked one of his possessions to keep it in his memory. He is way too much of a private person and never displayed any fondness for Hermione. However, that was a statement of Harry's in a moment of grief, and in such situations people often do not remember the deceased the way they truly were but see them in a gentler light. What I found very irritating, though, was that they walk into the house of a person that they weren't close to in lifetime and jump right into his bed without any trepidation. Do they have no respect for the private sphere of a dead?

Chapter 3: I liked the way you described Harry's marriage/general situation. It soundd very believable, normal. I wondered a little, though, why Harry would immediately get excited when a Death Eater claimed to know him. After all, he's Harry Potter - he is a publicly known person - and I could well imagine that he is often appealed to by people, eveb if it's only because he is known as the defender of a Death Eater (Snape) which might give people the hope that he is easily fooled into believing they're innocent, too.

Fantastic story!!! I'm enjoying it a great deal. There is something irresistible about your vulnerable Snape (normally I like him strong). Please update soon!!!

    Hello Emily

I'm afraid I'm not good at writing insightful criticism so I'll just say I really like your fic,
plot, storytelling, character's interactions and dialogs all of them amazing.Chapter 22 Growing Pains is my favorite so far because you gave us Mari's background details ,your Marietta is becoming very dear for me right after Luna who keeps performing miracles with her usual emphatic abilities :))

I hope Severus could gain his freedom eventually more importantly , The Light Brigade could find a way to Ministry's crusade against all former Death Eaters even if some of them very much deserve it!

Anyway I'll keep following your work please update as soon as you'd be able to.Take care!

Ooo, I can't WAIT to see what Draco and Snape's interactions will be like. It's obvious Draco has been avoiding him. I loved their conversation over Firewhiskey. Needed to get that out for sure for things to move forward. So much for should have would haves! I'm glad they have each other now. I hope Snape's patronus returns. Aww@Harry wanking to Sev and waking up with wood. Somehow, I doubt Sev would have minded much.lol. Great update.

So does this mean they will never get the stone? But things are going to turn at all right eventaully. As a matter of fact, it might be just sweet for this turn of events as the other, from a plot point of view.

I haven't read fanfic in years, but curiosity got the best of me, and I'm so glad it's this story I picked. Your prose is at points thoughtful, sad, touching, and witty, and I love your characterizations. I can't wait to see how this all turns out. :)

@Ch. 25. Very interesting turn of events. I felt bad for Cho...I mean, yeah, it was a stupid mistake but it's hard to always be paranoid and strategic if you aren't use to being so. Poor thing..always crying still. LOL. Too bad they couldn't find the stone, but I really like how Hermione spoke up for Marietta when Ron tried to put her on the hot seat. Yay Hermione...would love to know Marietta's reaction to that. And its about time Sev starts realizing how much Harry cares for him. He's starting to get it I think....Luna is so...Luna. I'm a bit worried if the Ministry has the stone or knows about what they're doing what will they do with this information, or the stone....hmmm.Update soon, the plot is thickening nicely :)
