Lovely addition. I really love Luna here and her question to Snape about whether or not he was going to be rational. Her reaction to his answer was too awesome, and I'm happy for Sev's own progress here and that he cried a bit, outside of the presence of others to maintain his own dignity, and yet cried in relief, in happiness (it seemed to me anyways).

*snicker* I love Luna. "If you won't, then I will." Heh.

Good Severus chapter. Liked it lots.

Alright, so I'm one of those readers that pretty much every writer hates: I will read an entire story and not write a single review. I will admit that I have my reasons. As a writer myself (one rarely posting anything because I'm overly critical of myself), I find myself disenchanted with reviews that don't actually say anything about the story.
    Enough with my babbling, though.
I very much enjoy the way that you've incorporated so many of the under-utilized characters in the HP universe. I love Luna, especially. She's kept that sort-of airiness that she had in the books, but feels like much more of a person instead of a vehicle here. Thank you.
Ah, well, if I keep writing, you'll have to read me waxing philosophical about something-or-another.
I look forward to the next chapter.

Ok that last line is priceless! XD Oh gods I love Luna so much, heart of gold and a head about 6 universes away. Absolutely wonderful. If I had been lucky enough to to go Hogwarts, I would have made her my best friend a million times over. I'm also glad Snape is starting to recover. He's just endearing himself to me more and more.

A rooftop garden; how perfect is that for Severus. It's great to see him trying to put his feelings for Harry more accuratey in perspective; he's come a long way. I love the support of the former students.

This story is insanely good. I don't usually read slave fics because everyone's so OOC, but you handle it very nicely. (I never did like Jo's golden glow happy ending epilogue. This seems more likely.)

So what, is the Ministry trying to kill everyone with a Dark Mark or something? Odd that a bunch of former Death Eaters would be sick all around the same time.

Poor Draco! I feel really bad for McGonagall too. Doesn't Harry still have the cape and Mauraders' map? I'm sure he could gain access to the school without anyone being the wiser if he really tried.

I had expected that Draco had been missing because he had been chasing other leads/ways to get Severus off, but this is much worse, though it does lend even more evidence to how rotten the Ministry has become. This new development with the slave spell is quite frightening, especially with Harry, who continually changes moods, mostly for the worse as of late. Though it does seem like "intent" matters, I do wonder if Severus might pick up some of Harry's more negative moods as the world continues to fall around them. I look forard to the lunch between Marietta and Harry; I like how you are writing her character. I do hope that Ginny doesn't give Harry any trouble over the "date."

Poor Draco. That was like...the saddest ending for a chapter I think I've read in a long time.

I've heard this isn't your favorite story to write at the moment. For me, I adore it as much as your most aggressive plots; its narrative and characterization are sublime. Very cinematic and pacing realistic, so far as it's your world to manipualte. I look forward to each chapter of POL.
