True, Harry may not completely understand all of the complexities that come into question when people are choosing sides in a war, but I do not believe that Draco is quite aware of the completely un-glorified and hero shiny-ness of war. He has this shining image of choosing his side in the war and appearing beside an armor clad Harry and nobley marching into the sunset. With Harry, most of the troubles are bloody, armor-less, and occur at night.
I hope he gets that before he gets hurt.
    Thank you,

I had to have tongue-in-cheek to stop myself from laughing at the adorable picture you've painted of Draco. He really is so adorable. (She

Yeah, I see things falling into place, even if in a different angle. Very interesting, your mind must be flowing over with tangles and plots *g*

It is far more likely that I find Harry adorably miniature in this story. I don't know if that is an accurate description of what I'm feeling about the whole thing, its more like he's sort of the Harry from Forgive those who trespass, and yet he's a smaller more miniature version with more of an exasperated feeling about always being the one that's in the right place at the right time, whereas in Trespass, its more ingrained, like the Vivos Harry had time to grow up always being the only one with any heroic ideas.

Whew! I really loved this chapter, though the Sirius bit is depressing all around since Harry and Sirius are parting on bad terms. I didn't realize until after all was said and accomplished that I was completely tense during Draco's conversation with Lucius. I had no idea how you were going to accomplish Draco's request there, but I absolutely loved it; it made alot of sense, though I like that you added that Draco did think that it hurt and wasn't trying to exaggerate. It was really interesting to me that Snape is becoming a source of bitterness for Draco in that moment while Snape remains unaware, even happy that his help has given Draco confidence in other areas because of the success with Lucius. It made me super happy that Harry used that moment as one of his happiest memories, a memory where he felt both close to Draco and in awe of him. I can't say I'm upset at what compelled Snape to save Sirius, as he did save Sirius though I do wonder what will happen if Harry finds out about the doe (being like Lily). And Dumbledore...I really love how you had him react, as he did nothing in the book, relying on Hermione and Harry to save Sirius, thinking it better for children to mess with time, than to find Sirius to be a worthy cause enough for his own action. I'm not sure exactly how this Harry feels about Dumbledore, but I hope he also overheard Snape's words on that, even though Harry probably does need an adult that he can fully trust. I hope Harry is alright this summer, and to end, I'm super happy with Draco when it comes to Dobby. I'm not sure how Lucius will feel to have a House Elf he wanted (maybe) more vengence upon, but I'm glad for this defiance and what being friends with Harry is doing to Draco. Really fantastic chapter.

You give voice to these characters thoughts and emotions with such clarity that I don't know whether to laugh or cry or something. Thanks again for providing us with truly worthwhile entertainment.

Thinky reading.. I like that one... oh, and it's not impossible, I thrived in the challenges *g*, I love it that way. And I'm glad they didn't kill Sirius, but it's obvious that his flaes and nooks will have a much greater impact on than they did before. another part of the puzzle. Along with the Dementors not getting to Sirius (yet) and therefore sparing Harry the challenge to face of hundreds. hmmmm... next chapter please!!

As always, your characterizations are deft and faceted and perfect. Every scene is perfectly drawn. The story simply flows. Watching through Slytherin eyes is fascinating.
I think what I love best about your work is the way you give Snape such perception. He's brilliant and unflinching.
    Thank you.

By forcing him to spend time with both of them and not allowing that maybe Harry has a reason to want to spend time with the only live and acknowledged connection to his parents, Severus may just push Harry a little farther away while trying to pull him closer. Draco's desperate and could care less if Harry spends time with Sirius, as long as there is still time for Draco. All of Severus's attempts at Harry manipulation may backfire...in an unfortunate manner.
