I think Snape's sentence is disproportionately large compared to Lucius' but then that does mirror the US justice system where sentences are rather random

Aw! I love the way Draco, instead of being offended by Harry not knowing how he feels about him, understands a little how HArry thinks and feels and so communicates with him in such a gentle and compassionate way, bing sensitive to his situation. He's soooo perfect for him! :) I am really looking forward to the next part, especially Remus' and Sirius' parts.

And just like that, so ends the life of the most feared wizard in all history.

... Harry's right. It was a little bit anti-climactic, but at the same time I like that it didn't take forever. ^w^

Now, the aftermath begins. What will Harry's purpose be now? I just know Draco's going to have something to say about it. *wink wink, nudge nudge*

I can't believe this updated last on my birthday. X3 What a great (if unintended) present! *hugs Dream-sama*

    about #9..

For what it's worth, I'm glad the battle wasn't long-winded. Just simple
    and straight to the point.

    SO, what happens now?

I like this a lot. :) I remember seeing it posted before, but stories that change around Harry's childhood entirely usually aren't really my thing, so I (unfairly, I admit) never gave it a chance. I'm glad I did this time! I read all nine chapters [so far] in one go and can't wait for more. I'm very excited to see Harry adjust to actively living, and all the trials that will inevitably bring his way.

This story is amazing and incredibly original. It's one of the strangest, yet best I have read. I'm curious how Harry and Draco's relationship is going to develop and how Harry will handle life now that Voldemort is death.

LOL!!! Awesome! I can't wait to see where the Auror thing goes, I hope Harry doesn't end up wasting away, it would be so nice if Lucius could be surprised as Harry becomes more of a person instead of less of one. Anyway, still loving the story, loved this chapter, and I can't wait for the next one.

NOOOOOOOO!!! What is going to happen to Harry?

I felt so sad when Harry overheard their conversation. I would have felt so betrayed! These are his first friends, and they're talking about him like he's not even human! Poo! Bad, bad Lucius! Bad Sev! I can't believe those boys. :( They'll all be sorry tomorrow when they find out that Harry is gone...

I really loved this chaper. Loving the drama, and the sheer force of the emotions you portrayed.

I'll agree you do write a wonder romantic scene, but you also create a perfectly captivating and heart wrenching sadness scene, bravo!
