Slowly beautiful. It read like poetry and reminded me of old books I'd read on the dichotomy of man versus himself, only way more joyful and sexy. Masterfully done.

Wow! That was brilliant! Don't think I've ever read slave fic like this before.

Usually it'll be like torturing slave and stuff that I avoid. I especially love the ending, sooo sweet!

    Great work!!

I so loved the story. I did find it interesting to see how Severus will to submit to Harry, but end up loving him. I do love Harry falling in love with Severus. Thank you for a wonderful read.

Okay, I already reviewed this and realized that I should have included so much more. Here's the deal - I appreciated that Harry struggled with himself regarding the absolute responsiveness of Snape and his own desires to be wanted by someone for himself above all else. I also read past reviews where some doubted that in the end Snape was really "in a good place" due to his "slave" status. True, according to his own understanding he was a "slave" to Harry for the remainder of his life span with his main desire to "please" his master' something that would be inherent to his biochemical makeup. However, compare his situation with house-elves who must do whatever is ordered by their masters or suffer the consequences (suffer punishment for anything regardless). They still know that, for instance, they detest their owners but cannot rebel. Severus still has the ability to object, to debate with Harry whether or not Harry has done well by him - which it becomes obvious is all that Harry truly and deeply desired for Snape. Harry didn't truly desire a mindless robot who would respond to his every desire. He wanted more than anything to be loved - for himself and not what others thought of the boy hero. For this reason any love that Harry receives is greatly appreciated and more than anything he really wanted the love that Severus expressed to him to be freely given. Severus was right - wanting to have the attentions of someone whose only desire was to please without any free will was virtual slavery is in a directly oppositional comparison to wanting to have the attentions of someone over whom you have total control - while not exercising that control and instead giving that person the opportunity to express discontent as well as complete acceptance. The Choice is the difference. When an emotional slave expresses wants, desires and needs - it's always framed in direct line with what the slave hopes its master wants. A willing and responsive mate, who is in this case a closet submissive, voices their opinion freely, gives and receives pleasure freely, and can stand independently on their own when necessary is the perfect mate for a wizard who would never think to prevent the freedom of thought and wants only to be loved for himself and not his reputation - and by someone who not leave him when the political winds shift direction. The Fates did an excellent job matching the two. As Harry came to love and want to protect Severus, Severus came to love and want to cherish Harry. Probably the original intent of the spell. Ah, well - the best laid plans of mice and men...and all that rot. Very well written.

    I... love... you.
    Really I do.
I don't even know what to type that would show the wonderous joy I got from reading your story. My fingers keep stopping over the keyboard trying very hard to describe what I feel. You are amazing. Truly amazing.
I do not have a single complaint and that thrills me so much. There are such few authors that can feel me with such wanting after a story is done.
Oh I wish there was more.
Thank you so much for the wonderful read.
