I just so happened had to reread this so that I can catch up. I haven't read this wonderful tale in a long time, and I am glad I did. I truly wish for one more chapter then an epilogue before you end this. Would like to see not only how Lucius and Snape react when she starts giving birth, but also some of the most wonderful language that she will spew during labor pains. I think it would be very comical. Plus I would like to see years from now where Hermione and Lucius have a real wedding. Something that was mentioned in a previous chapter in regards to a white dress. She let it slip to Lucius how she would have wanted to have a real wedding instead of the "shotgun" one she had to endure. Other than that I just wish there was a way to get an alert for this, or else I would have been reading this masterpiece weeks ago.

I absolutely love your story. I've just sat and read it (all 50 chapters of it!) in two sittings, to the detriment of my exam tomorrow. Please, PLEASE add more chapters soon, I'll be able to justify reading them after my exam! I simply adore your interpretation of the characters. I've never been a Lucias fan, but now.. well.. I wouldn't kick him out of my bed, that's for sure!

I'm glad they found the witch causing the problems. I had kind of figured it was the clerk, but I wanted to see how it was going to play out. I think Lucius now has a deeper regard for Crookshanks.

I love the small bits of interplay, and Lucius stepping in front of the curse for Hermione was amazing. And of course I appreciate the humor of too much salve.

ch 50 - oh, my...... that was a surprise villain! Makes sense that nobody thought of an unknown witch from Beauxbatons. I hope the boys remember to thank Crookshanks; perhaps Lucius will stop wanting to kick him. :=) Salazar's portrait was very helpful too. I'm glad Cissa and Severus were there to support Hermione. Any chance of repairing Lucius' wand? He's going to have two more babies soon to protect, and a wonky wand is not reliable. Perhaps Draco - after someone tells him what happened - can create another ointment that is less sticky. Wouldn't Lucius' scalp also hurt because of the nerve endings? Can't avoid getting the goop in his hair then. THANK YOU for the new chapter and for the reveal!!

WOW! While I feel bad for Desdemona for losing her Mum in such a horrible way, that's no excuse for hurting so many innocent people. And she might not have known that Hermione was pregnant when she set her plan in motion, but she couldn't have missed it when Hermione went to sit down and then to cast that hex was unforgivable. She may not have known that it would cause a miscarriage, but really, what did she think would happen to a pregnant woman who was subjected to that curse? She's apparently short on common sense. I'm betting Luc gets a knew wand the minute he can move.

As for the epilogue....I'd love to see an anniversary, a renewal of vows in a full ceremony and maybe a peek at the Twins starting school.

Oh and epilogue - the four of them definitely, with children. Sev with kids is too priceless. Draco finally at peace and happy. A little smuttiness would be lovely.

I've been a lurker but faithful reader. What an exciting chapter. I loved the culmination of many things: the plot, Narcissa and Hermione's friendship, Hermione's own personal journey, the emotions of all the characters. Alot to get in but nicely done.

Loved it! I'm curious as to who the mystery person could be? Poor Lucius being jealous that Hermione might leave him for some younger man.
Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Hello me dear. Early-ish again for me. Too much time on my hands. Hubby is off on a barging holiday in the Norfolk Broads with three of his mates so I'm on my Bill....(Billy No-Mates). What a good progressive (though smut-free!)chapter. It's OK honestly. I'm not really a sex-starved, depraved Severus/Lucius/Sirius/Remus addict. I'm a good and pure Nana (48 years young) who's missing her husband. But I'm digressing again. Who is Cleopatra Jane Grey? The "Jane" made me automatically think of Umbridge initially though what HER motive would be I'm not sure other than that she is a malicious, conniving bitch. I did enjoy Harry's appearance even though like Ally McBeal I found him quite unnecessary to my enjoyment of books/programmes etc advertising a main character. Do you get what I mean here? I liked everyone except Ally McBeal.Nuff said.No....Young Harry was being quite mature after he appeared to realise that Hermione seemed more than happy with her lot in life and her husband. So it's Wednesday lunch-time here in lukewarm Lancashire and I now have to take our muckle (Scots word meaning big/clumsy,) great labrador Harley out for a walk. Oh yes, I'm really missing my husband. Till next time. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx.

Hahaha at Grandpa Snape - he is not comfortable with that thought at all! And some lovely reminiscences there - lovelier for the readers hearing about them than for the men reliving them, indeed. That whole Death Eater orgy sounds like a scream. I can just see Bellatrix demanding 'harder, you lightweight, harder!' under the whip. Ew at Amycus and Alecto though!

So Hermione is having her time in the wilderness - I am eager to see how their reunion will go. Humble pie all round, but especially for Hermione, I reckon.

Great chapter as always! ^_^ I read the name of said shop owner and my brain instantly screamed It's a fake!!!! lol. But then again, I'm not sure what kind of parents said bad guy has or had lol. And poor Lucius, so paranoid, see this is what happens when he keeps secrets lol. But I do look forward to the big reveal of his undying love lol.

So when do we hear that Luna is preggers? lol or that Draco has found a special woman? ^^ I am laughing at my own evil mind and your evil mind as well lol

Can't wait for the next chappie!

    Chapter 49

You write a great Harry. I like how you made him clever, coming up with a great idea to rid the school of pretty parchment. He also came up with a crafty way to get the owners to close up shop. He
