Oh, I've said it before and I'll say it again... I love plot! And I think you were very clever to use the sorting hat to investigate! That's the kind of thing I live for when reading fic. And the announcement! Congrats to the Malfoys! Does Hermione know? Doesn't seem like she has noticed yet. And Lucius hasn't really reacted to it yet, either. Wonder what he feels about it. Can't wait to find out.

So... no food, no drink. There are lots of possibilities you have brought up (rat seducing hair gel, as well as others), it will be fun to try to figure this out and see where you are going with it as well.

Great Goddess I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!! I LOVE the Sorting Hat! He needs to be in stories more often if he's written that well. He's a good foil for Lucius and someone (?) who Luc can talk to or argue with that will help him figure things out. So....I'm guessing the chemical is something absorped through the skin since it's not ingested, so my question is....do they have magical Drycleaners?

For a few chapters now I have had an inkling that I knew where the to in is and how it is spreading. The Sorting Hat pretty much confirmed this for me...

I won't post my thought here as I don't want to mislead others if I am wrong, or spoiler em if I am right... but tres sneaky :D love it....

I will email you my thought

Hm, a genetically triggered emotional accelerator. That would mean that part of the structure would be a factor common to all Pureblood families. Are newer Purebloods affected as strongly? Meaning those who have attained Pure status in the last three or four generations as well as the more ancient families? Can't be in the water, since there are too many divergent sources for the public. Not ingested, pssibly inhaled or worn. Still think magical laundry soap is a shot, but a standard 'Scourgify' would probably remove it. Perhaps it's in the wand polish? A wand is the one common factor for all magical folk so transmission that way would gaurantee everyone was affected. Waiting for the next one!

Actually, Sunshine you did catch me out. I was all set to review the previous chapter last Friday afternoon(UK time)and lo and behold you had updated! Well...ride me sideways I thought! Anyway loved the Yule Ball and did enjoy doing the lambada with Lucius and dancing to Bolero with Severus. This chapter.....Hmm...as previously stated....... made my eyes water a bit. But you did write it very tastefully and our duo did appear to enjoy themselves immensely so that's OK.We've been treated to all the HP films on UK mainstream telly recently and it has served to remind me just how gorgeous Lucius really is.I do have the DVDs of course but they take effort. So well done to you too for turning him into a throughly three dimensional type of guy. Hopefully you won't beat me on the update this week and I'm off to the Lake District again this weekend......Icelandic volcanic ash permitting. Hope your wedding went well. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx.

Loving this story, Lucius is a delicious mix of imperious snobbishness and lust.

If he and Snape had run my school I would have never left ;)

Thank you for this yummy lemon meringue ... It has plenty of sharp lemons and just enough sweet meringue

Cpt 44 review: Loved it! I like the part where they were watching out for each other at the ball. And that Lucius admitted to Severus that he loved Hermione. Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Lovely chapter, my dear. I love all the little things you add. It gives your characters so much vibrancy. Like Lucius waiting for Hermione to come find him on the dais. I can just imagine his secret smile. And Lucius telling Hermione that he loves making her scream. I keep thinking of Jason Isaacs making Sofia Milos scream in Passionada. Then there was the lovely line about Lucius wanting to unwrap packages. He must be so cute on Christmas morning. :)

Lucius may not want the moral fiber Hermione is instilling in him, but he isn

Very well done. I believe Lucius has earned a repeat performance; I think Hermione will agree. Cheers!

Oooh, tinglies. I have no problem with reading anal, if it's well written. And this, my dear Smut bunny, was well written. He can gladly borrow me any time to practice his technique. He can use any side he wishes. ^_^ He did a very good job of relaxing her first. She was a nervous little kitten, wasn't she? It's kind of adorable, until you think about what he was about to do to her. I'm happy dear little Sevvikins(once again, don't tell him I called him that) loves his buxom blonde so much, and Lucius has his curly headed lioness (*cough*kitten*cough*) and we're all in happy waves of orgasmic love. *Sigh* What could possibly ruin that moment? Oh yeah! There's someone who hates purebloods making my sweet blonde oatmeal raisin creme cookie suffer. *Snarls*

Anywhoo! I didn't get to really respond to any of your reviews for Riverbend. You had a few questions. Tom Rowan: One of my most favoritest OCs. So many coincidences, so little time. And I thought that if I could speak to snakes and had one as a pet, I would have it ride around on my head. Plenty of hair to purchase on. ^_^ And Phelan is fifteen. (I know...he had to grow up way too fast...*scratches ears*) Oh, and I think that this specific Snape and my specific Harry(who is going to be an enigma to all until I damn well decide to reveal what the hell is going on 0_o) would rip each other's throats out before they even got close to naked.

Wells. I hope you enjoyed your wedding. Was there good cake? I love wedding cakes. Mmmm....cake.

Can't get anything past you can I? Sigh... I'll admit it, it was Draco. I managed to convince him I wasn't some crazy groupie (such a gullible boy) and dragged him off to an already occupied nook. At least that part was true :D

Oh no! What ever would poor Lucius do with himself if he had a few more morals? How positively atrocious! Sense the sarcasm?

They're in soooo deep! Deep in love that is...

I definitely think he's going to stop wanted to be lord and master all the time, especially once they both realise that they're both in love with one another. I mean he can't be so overbearing and controlling for the rest of their lives... he'll mellow out right? :-/

Oh and I would probably get the same result as you in that Myer-Briggs test. My clothes are all hung up according to colour and type, and all my books are in height order.

Well... this wasn't as far fetched as I imagined it to be. Sometimes stories are so saccharine that every single experience is magically spectacular in every way but this wasn't that way, yet wasn't traumatic or horrific, either. Nice balance, and I love the compromise and sharing of trust.
