OK LaBib so we've a new premise going on here. I'm aggressive and want to kill you but if you spank me I don't want to kill you so much? Sounds fair enough and a jolly nice way to keep oneself out of Azkaban. I do enjoy the boys' bantering and baiting of each other. They bounce off each other like wound up rubber bands. Nice to see some reconciliation between Draco and Lucius going on too. But really LaBib....Saint Severus? Now that conjures up an interesting image. An angel with his halo hanging off his horns. Hmmm? And this bloody perfume....why the sly bugger. Poor Narcissa will not just be a bit wobbly but resemble John Wayne after getting off his horse! That happened to me you know on my honeymoon in Ullswater in the Lake District. For the first (and last) time in my life I went horse riding. I was bow-legged. My new husband was getting many approving looks from men and women! Ahhh....happy but sore days. Best wishes, love Ali xxxxx.

Aww...I just love the interactions between Severus and Lucius. They're such snarky little bastards, but you can almost taste the affection (affection, not confection ^_^) in their words. They know each other well enough to cut deep, but they also know when to back off.

I'm quite glad to see those Slytherin minds hard at work. I always love a good bit of conniving. I'm eager to see what this force is, and how it was introduced. I was thinking along the same lines as Snape, about the food and water, and maybe a potion, but the spell makes sense. If it's a spell, what kind, and who cast it? Is there a bigger problem for our heroes to worry about than a shrinking purse and horny little students trying to pinch their goods?

Good as always. I also loved the interaction between Draco and Lucius. You can see them both trying to be good, and still being themselves all wrapped up in two sexy little packages. Lovely. Just Lovely. Look forward to more, dear!

maybe some type of gym class would help in easing the problem with the students. and my guess is it's something in the pumpkin juice....possible?? hmmmm anyway good chapter.

OK, so the curse or whatever affects witches, and they haven't figured that out yet, not really. Men. Bah. Anyway, though, I like the insights into the whys and wherefores of Lucius's mind.

Oh, plot! Love it. I wonder what the physical difference between purebloods and mixed parentage is, in that something would single them out and affect them. (unless it was a spell or influenced by a spell) And Snape is not affected, but he's a generally outwardly unpleasant chap most days, so maybe it's already in his nature and combating it might just be a familiar daily reality for him. But, your past foray into the stationery shop makes me wonder if paper is connected to this, as vapor and food has been ruled out. You might be tricky enough to have brought us there for that reason! :D Plus you mentioned the paper colors that Draco had been accumulating in detail. Also, I assume that bookish Ravenclaws do more homework than the rest of the school and would therefore be exposed to more paper. I'm ON TO YOU! lol, probably not but I love theorizing and overthinking. But if it's about tainted parchment, I get to have a gold star! (or an hour with Lucius) ;)

I did love the interaction between Draco and Lucius, it was good to see. And also the fact that Lucius was haunted by the violence of his death eater days. That bodes well for a future with Hermione, that he has such regrets.

Hmmm. Something that both objectifies and anathemizes the Pureblood segment of society, while lowering inhibitions over all. If it didn't, the girls wouldn't be becoming agressive toward one another, although you didn't write if it was mixed-bloods being aggressive to purebloods or if it was over all. Maybe it's in the Laundry soap? Everyone uses that in one form or another.

ch 39 - I'm glad the boys are talking more openly with each other. I wonder if doing detention with Filch would quality as physical pain. This hex seems to make folks imagine things about purebloods -- bad things as well as good things, since the students find Lucius and Draco attractice. I wonder if Severus is not quite immune, but he is accusomed to controlled his thoughts? You'll surpise us next chapter, I'm sure! BTW, I enjoyed reading your responses (in your LJ) re last chapter; I learn more about your story and how you see your characters. Thanks for updating!

Lol Gods, could Lucius and Severus stop teasing the hell out of each other when they're alone? I mean seriously! lol

I see the bond beginning to reform between Draco and Lucius and that is a wonderful thing. I hope their bond continues to grow, though with out the sex talk. (eww lol j/k j/k)

As I read Lucius' mentality, he does seem to be trying to form a bond with Hermione. I hope they both lower their walls again and at least attempt to trust each other even just a small amount out side of the bedroom.

Great chapter! Can't wait for the next one!

Trusses are also for bridges :)

    Omigosh! I love plot!

I kind of expected Lucius to get the Stalin reference, but I was wrong.

Ooooh! Selective perfume! Awesome! *says awesome in a very teenage way... AWWWWE-SOME*

*giggle* It's super stamina perfume... cool.

I'm imagining Lucius controlling a thousand rulers with his wand and spanking all of the students. He could whack them on the palm of their hands instead?

Maybe it's something in the water?
