Very nice. I quite enjoyed the way Draco and Hermione interacted. She showed him she was not to be trifled with and he showed a more insecure side of him. I liked the way they interacted.

And personally I thought the spangled robe would have been HILARIOUS. I can almost imagine him in it, and the hat of course, with matching white gloves. FANTASIA!!!! Anyway, have a good day, update soon, and keep us guessing with the pureblood 'conspiracy.'

Well, Lucius could always wear the Disney Merlin getup in private, with nothing underneath...

As for Draco, I see him liking his "stepmother" much more than he'd expect. Come on, we all know he had a huge crush on her at Hogwarts, way back then...

Okay, first, yeah!! I can type with two hands once more. And, there's only a little shoulder pain from my surgery. lol Gotta love good drugs. :-)

Okay, now on to TTotS - While I thoroughly enjoyed the last chapter, too, even though I couldn't comment, I will focus on this one. Hermione and Draco's confrontation was brilliant. I liked the way you moved them animosity to forced to civility to begrudging acceptance. I also liked that you had Hermione acting as the (slightly) more mature one. Draco still has a way to go, but at least he will hopefully be less of an ass now. I admit, I was worried at first about you saying he would be a fixture in the story. Even as a solid Dramione fan, I couldn't fathom the Draco you've written as anything but a pain in the ass. But, I should have known better than to doubt you. lol (Bad, me!! Can Lucius give me my spanking? tee hee hee) Ahem, erm... oh yeah, the story... I can see Draco being an inadvertent help to the cause. But, as you have written him so far, he's a bit to childish and self-absorbed to truly be of much real help yet.

I do look forward to loads more soon. I want to know more about the pureblood backlash, the students' reaction to Lucius, and the new Malfoy's continued acceptance of one another. :-)

    Thanks! HG4eva

    Wow, LaBib...

I started reading this last night and have just been thrown into the most wonderful world! While I like the idea of the marriage contract, this puts a whole new spin on the tale. I must admit when first reading the summary, I thought it to be a threesome tale. How wrong was I?!

First off, hats off to you for a genuinely great portrayal of Lucius, again. I adored him in your first few fics, but this one is by far my favorite. I love the way he fought with his dark side through the dark magic of Voldemorts mark - very enthralling. I can understand Lucius being tempted very much by the magic that caused him to be feared and somewhat respected in the uncertainty of the wizarding world of your tale. It'd be very easy for him to allow it to take hold, but I like that Lucius won't let himself be swept away again. I adore courageous Lucius.

I also like the way Hermione is in this tale; her backbone is very, very firmly secured and underneath the devil may care attitude she sometimes presents, I can see the softer side. After all, who doesn't want to be loved and cared for. I can see the cracks forming in her psyche, allowing for slithers of Lucius to come through in her personality.

Bravo on the Snape/Narcissa relationship- I very much appreciate that Narcissa is strong, and I like that she can prove to be a source of advice and a bearer of confidences too. I hope to see their friendship progress.

I can't wait to read more!

I guess if I was a teenage girl, and had a choice between a single Draco, and a married Lucius. I would crush on Draco, and fantasize about Lucius.

As for the robes Lucius tried on first, the first thing I thought was, he was channeling Dumbledor.

Love the story, heck, all of your stories are wonderful.

    Can't wait to read more.

I loved when Hermione grabbed Draco by the hair. And he seemed to enjoy whatever that meant to him too. I guess it meant she cared enough about his father to make him more resigned to things. I do think he adds something interesting to the mix.

I really liked the conversation between Draco and Hermione. You would hope that in the years after the war they would have been able to put aside their differences. I do adore how the thought that Hermione genuinely cares about Lucius was shown in Draco's perception that he was never worth a wand wave before. Love how you used that. It gave Draco a level of self-awareness that was possible but not apparent in the books. Makes me relook at how this Draco took not being important enough to a muggleborn overachiever for all this time. And it was cute how his little Lucius mannerisms thawed her out toward him as well. If he can stop using pureblood prejudiced terms and make public peace with Hermione, I think he will be an asset to Snape and Lucius' plans. If he incites resentment, maybe not so much. It will be interesting to see what you do with him. I can certainly be a Draco fan, as he has some of the best potential to be redeemed in the real books. Not to mention the fact he had to go through hell living in the same place as the dark lord, saw so much torture and death that he tried to protect the trio as best he could in the only way he knew. He above most others would probably be sickened by the insaninty that he witnessed. Any response he has toward prejudice about purebloods would probably be insightful and born of hard won wisdom. But there still is a bit of prat in him, I can tell. :D

Black robes were very elegantly Lucius. I give a happy sigh thinking about how movie Lucius looks in his awesome garb.

I found the confrontation very believable--I can see her drawing that line in the sand and then inviting him over it. I can also see any number of females students hiding in his store cupboard for a quick erotic ambush between classes, LOL. Then again, Yanking Lucius into a secret passage has its' own appeal.

I thought Draco's conversation with Hermione was very well written. Very much in canon regarding their reactions to each other. No, Lucius should never wear robes with spangles on them. It would be over the top, ala Gilderoy Lockhart. Yes, I do love me some Draco. Sex on legs, he is definately a welcome addition.
