I must admit that I am a regular lurker...
But the time has come for me to say "YES, THANK THE HEAVENS! A new story from probably my favorite HP fanfiction author."
I really do enjoy your stories and I think I did comment once how you made me an LM/HG reader, and I sincerely thank you for it.
I keep comming back and rereading your stories, there is just something about your writing and the way you write Lucius, yes Hermione.

So once again I'd just like to thank you for sharing your stories with the rest of us!

Hello Dear and Seasons Greetings. Firstly Crimbo is a bit of British slang for Christmas and has only really been used for about the last five years or so. Some geezer called Avid Merrion had a song called "Proper Crimbo" and you had to see the video to appreciate what drivel it was. I wouldn't recommend it! Secondly, Lumb is the village where I live. It is in the countryside of East Lancashire (Snape's probable county in England of birth)and is about six miles from the town of Burnley which now boasts a Premier Division football team. OK....on with the review. I loved the dialogue between Severus and Lucius and hopefully Lucius now appreciates that he not only opens his gob and disengages his brain with Hermione but with others he cares for too. Fortunately the boys' friendship and history appears to have allowed them to ride the potential storm his lack of tact could have caused. It is heartening to see his relationship with Hermione becoming warmer and more tolerant as I'm sure a united front at Hogwart's will be better for them all round. Well I'm having a party on New Year's Eve with neighbours and friends and relations all invited...and you too LaBib and the boys (yes in the Lancashire countryside), as any true good Scot would. My youngest daughter, the lucky mare will be in Edinburgh. And so I wish you and yours a Happy Hogmanay and a safe, healthy, prosperous and muse-filled New Year. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxxx.

Chapters 14 & 15 Aha, now pieces are starting to click together! So Lucius has to marry Hermione to keep his hands - innocent as they are - off the virgins of Hogwarts. And yet he is going to take up the Headship - wow. Interestingly tangled, and with the additional complications of Hermione looking into the anti-Pureblood sentiment at the Ministry and elsewhere. I like that Lucius was wrongfooted by her eager taking up of the cudgels on that issue, and I loved the way their conversation veered suddenly and randomly into the sex with or without glamours debate :D. Lucius has given Hermione sex on the brain. And bondage - a treat! Lovely. My brain is ticking over now.

LOL I like this chapter!! It's so nice to see the two of them getting along, though it's still so tentative. And I love how Narcissa discovered Snape's plotting! So funny!

I like the tentative way they are trying to deal with one another. It is heartening to see it after all the drama of their first start. And I love that Severus and Lucius couldn't figure out how to do intimacy well because they are men. Hee. Wonderful.

Chapter 28 - I really enjoyed this chapter, the title was very apt. The beginning of communication between Hermione and Lucius can really be seen, but you really showed the depth of the friendship with Lucius and Severus. As they were the 'key' in arranging the marriage with Hermione and Lucius, I enjoyed how it showed the unspoken loyalty they have to each other.

Chapter 29 - I can't help it, a teasing Lucius makes me happy. The segue from serious conversation with Lucius and Severus, into their their abject horror of realizing they were acting as females was hilarious, as well as the very nice interlude with Hermione was hilarious. I know that you have some more bumps and twists along they way, but it is nice to have moments of levity and realization.

Yes,yes, I'm a lurker. This story is wonderfully written, so descriptive. I enjoy each and every chapter. I especially liked the teasing banter in this chapter. It's about time they started to get along. I've noticed that draco has not appeared in this story. What does he think about his father's marriage? I think it would be enormously satisfying for him to come and meet his new stepmother.

Chapter 13 - Ye gods, I was there in the bed with them! I don't know anyone who writes such vivid, detailed descriptions of sex without it ever lapsing into the anatomical or tasteless or repetitive. You never write the same sex twice, and I really admire that - it's awfully difficult to do. Fantastically sexy stuff - I wonder how long it will take for Hermione to realise that enjoying good sex doesn't make you a bad person...even if it is with a Death Eater, heh.

    Chapter 28:

Lucius is surprisingly mature in this chapter. He could have opted to not clear the air but wants a fresh start with his wife. Talk about an open and honest dialogue between the two, they were able to be incredibly honest with one another and no one went off the handle. It

I've reread from the start and now I'm at chapter twelve - what a verrrry sexy chapter it is, too! I love Hermione's 'Let's get it over with' and Lucius charming himself to make him look indifferent to Hermione's charms. He's going to be regarded as the monster for some time yet, I think, but I reckon Hermione needs a bit of a monster. Interesting flashback with the orgy potion - and very interesting that Lucius somehow associates Hermione erotically with Bellatrix. I wonder how that will affect his changing feelings towards her? Great stuff - I have missed this!
