Reviews for The Taming of the Shrew - Wizard Style - COMPLETE

Well LaBib I do feel for Lucius but perhaps not as much as I should. Getting a bit serious now. His thoughts aren't so much focussed on losing Hermione specifically but on his family fortune and potential position as headmaster at Hogwarts. In order for the relationship to work they will BOTH have to compromise goodstyle. I understand him wanting to educate her on Pure-blood ways and traditions but he also needs educating in accepting Muggle-born ways too. After all.....it would appear that the Half-bloods and Muggle-borns are running wizarding society at the moment. Her acquiescence to him was endearing and does emphasise Hermione's generous and somewhat forgiving nature, something I hope he learns to appreciate and not exploit. We all want (well some of us anyway!) a good spanking and a bit of domination from the one we love on the odd occasion but it does have to be in a mutual and controlled situation. She (and he!) must have their safe words and get-outs if required. I mean I'm 5'7" and my husband's 6'6" and whilst not fat he's a big guy......a teddy bear actually......Hermione and Lucius are proportionally about the same so you have to believe you are safe when these sort of shenanigans are going on. Oh go on then....yeah......I'd still do him even after all that. See how easily I've capitulated. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx.

Chapter Twenty-Four: Have you seen Mr Rickman as of late? I love the man dearly, but let us be honest: he is sixty-three and he has a stomach. But do sic him on me. *giggles* This is your fantasy, LaBib, and I am merely an enthusiastic observer. If you want Severus to be some cut, hunky, tan fellow, what business is it of mine to disagree (of course, he would go nude, but doesn

    Poor Lucius... Poor Hermione...
I'm really wondering what you have in store for them, now that H seems to realize she loves him.

Chapter 24: Sorry about the delay....I've been busy with a rather delightful Russian gentleman who takes up my free time =) But tonight I had the chance to sit down and catch up. Love the Viking costume, I could see it perfectly in my head the entire time. So she mortally wounded his pride...it was rather sad as my sympathies always seem to lie with Lucius. I tend to feel like Hermione is a spoiled, ungrateful brat, far more so than the decidedly spoiled Lucius.....

Will look forward to the beginning of life at hogwarts =)

    Happy Writing,

Awesome! It's good to finally see Hermione actually feeling a bit bad for how she's been behaving. Keep it up Chicka.. You rock!!

I was deliberating between leaving you a review and leaving a cardboard sign that read 'died, TTYL', and finally settled on the former...

First of all, another cheer for Thesaurus.com - you should start making audio versions of your chapters, I'd LOVE to hear them read out loud... with or without sound effects, I'm not THAT picky. ^_~

Second, I'm not going to ask for a refund. Though I might send my boss your way if/when he decides he should cut my next paycheck for missing one deadline too many. It takes TIME from my mind to regain consciousness and drag itself out of the gutter and back into a three-piece suit, you know... lol

I hope this type of chapter ending means I can finally disband my little flock of Hufflepuffs and go back to counting Galleons? And before I forget: if I fail to appear for the next chapter, it means I re-read this one and you should promptly start working on my epitaph.

"And to LaBibliographe I leave my cat, so it would continue to hiss, purr and claw at her in my stead..." ^_~

"Some readers are for Hermione, some are for Lucius."

LOL, well, to give you some perspective-- spanking and D/s really doesn't do it for me. So in that respect, the person doling out corporal punishment (or the person with the most power) will always get less sympathy from me if there are problems (if you lead, you also get the large share of blame), but I get that it is really popular and I wouldn't hold it against a story that had a lot of it as long as I *have* good story. :D And I just write my reaction so that the author knows what reaction was pulled from me. If I didn't like a story or couldn't get invested, I would never read it, much less comment. And I love that your story is pulling me in, even if I'm a weirdo and don't respond like everyone else, *G*.

"It will be a challenge to dodge the brickbats of whoever disapproves of this next chapter. At least it won

I really love your stories and this one is no different, but for some reason this particular story is more frustrating. maybe because it seems to be moving slowly, and there seems to be so much more friction between the pair, right from the start. it isn't surprising, given the nature of their marriage. this most recent chapter... i know that hermione hurt lucius, and has continually lauched many pronged barb after barb at her husband with the intention to hurt him, but he's done a lot of hurting himself. poor hermione's self esteem is shot, he makes her feel like a worthless muggle, ill-bread and uncouth, unintentionally ( i hope) flaunting his beautiful ex-wife in front of her, oblivious to how much it tears at hermione. lucius gets to vent his frustrations (maybe not vocalizing them), but hermione has to keep hers inside, and ends up submitting to her husband. can he (or will he) return the favor in kind? hermione has realized how much she's hurt him and submitted, but can lucius truly accept and understand the damage his treatment has caused and "submit" to his wife as well?

You description of Lucius' feelings of despair actually had me tearing up, as well as Hermione's vulnerability as she tried to repair her damaged relationship. Excellent chapter!

ch 24 - WOOHOOOOOOO!!!! About time!! I was almost afraid he'd give up and walk out, but she came to her senses. Tomorrow will be time for Hermione to apologize to the Snapes, but tonight Lucius and Hermione can sleep together in peace. Hmm, perhaps a totally open and honest convo in the morning, too. THANK YOU!!! Oh, and thank you for the piccy of pirate-Lucius and devil-Hermione.

No need to be sheepish. That was fantastic! I enjoyed watching their respective pride finally fall to the beatings they've been taking. Finally getting to some realization was wonderful. Now, we get to see them honestly get to know one another. I can imagine it won't be the smoothest road (and I like that you plan to being in others to shake things up), but I know it's going to be a fun one!! :-) Thank you again! HG4eva
