Poor little lost Lucius. ha ha ha He's so close to "getting" it and oh so far away still. His friendship with Severus is a beautiful thing to read. Their snips at each other speak of long familiarity and comfort in knowing the other is going nowhere. You write them very well!! I can only hope we see Hermione confide in Narcissa once more, because their conversation at dinner was fun, funny and illuminating. I loved the image of her smacking him before apparating away in a huff, but she really must learn to (as we say to children here in the US) use her words. lol He really is trying to understand how to make things work and she is still clinging to her anger like a shield from reality. If she just let herself see past her anger and assumptions, she might start to see that talking to him and not at him would make a world of difference. She can't enjoy living in such hostility, even if the sex is great. Someone should tell her that loving sex is even better. ha ha ha Another great one! Thank you and again... more soon please. Ta ta for now, HG4eva

You know, I'm finding your Lucius and Hermione to be extremely canon, and it makes me wonder why we always think they'd be a good couple. Given her own twisty tendencies, I find it shocking she hasn't stabbed him in his sleep after some lusty exercise. She certainly never had too many scruples when it came to getting things done as a mere schoolgirl, when you think about it. Then again, we'd all miss him terribly, wouldn't we? I do like his slow descent into obsession with his new wife.

ch 20 - funny Severus! I hope Lucius quits spanking Hermione in anger; that doesn't work with her and isn't arousing under the circumstances. I wish they would communicate clearly, as I am eager for them to get to Hogwarts and start working together to figure out who is behind this anti-pureblood scheming. BTW, how badly have Lucius' finances been hit? He's not needing to pinch pennies, is he? Thank you for updating!

That was the my view of Narcissa too.

Letting a small tear escape rather than full out sobs always works better :D

I gather term "dwindling fortune" really depends on your perceptions of a fortune. And in Lucius' case, his dwindling fortune would be more than any of us plebs could spend in our lifetimes.

    Nacissa's exploits? Lol!

Ahhh! It's only spring in Australia but it's sooooo hot today. It's more than 30 degrees C :( I'm melting...

You didn't think you'd get rid of me THAT easily, did you?
Your Hermione is some piece of work - she can talk to the cock but not to the man attached to it? LOL
Awesome job, as usual... *purrs in contentment at your use of thesaurus*

Love this chapter! My favorite part was Hermione massaging Lucius' back. I guess she didn't expect him to ask her to do that for him! Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

First off, I'm honored my thoughts wound up in your story ^_^ arigoto.

I am pleased to see they are opening up to each other and speaking about what they want and feel, even if it is almost like butting heads. I can see those shields dropping just a micro-meter. ^_^. I look forward to seeing more of this happen, perhaps a friendship can be found.

Ahh the love scene in the water was very nice. It takes a lot of trust for that to be allowed, even if Lucius doesn't know he giving it to her. Seeing Hermione open her sexuality a bit is also impressive, I look forward to seeing both areas of their lives grow.

Can't wait for the next chappy,

Yes...Yes....Yes....Yesssss. A la Meg Ryan in "When Harry met Sally". Never watched the bloody film as I can't stand Ms Ryan.....but you get the gist. Eeeeh lass! Blood pressure steadily rising as one reads that. Oh, I'm so looking forward to my new spa bath now especially as you are sending the boys round with the bubbly. Lovely chapter and good to see that they can be civilised to each other. I mean massaging one's partner is both intimate and caring. Right that's it. Come on husband.....please wear the blond wig. You will suit it.Honest. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx.

Finally I was able to catch up! Ooh I love how you portrayed Narcissa. She is happy for Lucius and his new bride and trying to become friends with Hermione who is jealous of her. The dinner party was a blast to read. Poor Lucius can't seem to win, his poor abused shines. Does he want me to kiss them and make it all better? The bath scene was very steamy. I loved that Hermione finally let go for a minute and took charge. Of course who can resist a wet naked Lucius :) Hopefully soon Hermione will let go in the bedroom and enjoy Lucius style in bed. Her body already likes it, now she need to stop living in denial with her mind. They both need to start bending and compromising in this marriage or it is going to be a very rough ride. Not that I don't mind them clashing with each other. I can't wait for more, and really can't wait for when they relocate to Hogwarts.

    Chapter 19:

Okay...its getting eerie now...I just finished writing a bathtub scene with Lucius =) Though it turned out vastly different as my Lucius is a major prude while Hermione is not LOL...very enjoyable, even to the discomfort that comes with unmelted bath salts =)...and who wouldnt wanna stroke Lucius's eel in the bath? I have a fixation with washing his hair though, I think it would be an incredibly erotic experience.

I was reading your reply to Snapes_Goddess. I think Helen McCrory is a good actress but I didn't like her as Narcissa (She would have probably made a pretty good Bellatrix though). She looked a lot older than Bellatrix, who's meant to be the oldest. I guess some of it could be explained by stress etc. And the hair was weird...

Talking about feelings, in a shared bath! Yay!

Guh! Bath massage... *imagination takes hold*

I hope Lucius' shins get better :)
