Oooh. Very sexy. I wish I could take a bath with Lucius. I wouldn't have started with his back. His front would have been my first target.

Not like batman? Ah! But his muscular physique! His dark, sexy voice! His alter ego!

On a random note, which superhero/villain do you think Lucius would be most like? What about Hermione?

Now, I'm very happy with this chapter. Now...A question: Will little baby Malfoys play a large part in this story, or will they pop in at the end? Is there going to be an acceptance process with Lucius for his half-blood offspring? Loved it! Keep up the good work!

Ch 19: Have to agree with Hermione on the bath salts issue. Hate when they don't dissolve. :(

Poor baby has boo-boos. Let me kiss them better?

Yes, yes, must make amends to make the whoopee, Lucius. And ditto to Hermione.

I find that view quite mesmerizing as well, at least the mental image of Lucius naked, in a tub, ((I digress.))

Quiescent is such a wonderful word, isn't it? One of my favorites!

Living with an edgy Lucius like dancing on the lip of a live volcano -- beautiful description!

Yes, yes, a problem for another day.

My fingers are lonely now. They need a back.

Ah, Hermione has found one of my secret guilty pleasures -- watching a man as he indulges solely in pleasure then lending aid at the most opportune moment. Delicious, dear. Very enthralling and enticing, and just where did my husband go? Get back here, man!

I bit surprised he didn't drift off in the tub.

    :D

Wow, when are you sending Lucius to me for a night of bathing fun? I love how with every argument, they have an interlude that creeps them the tiniest bit forward to a peaceful detente. I know it is going to be a long time yet and there are going to be many more misunderstandings, but every millimeter is progress. So tell me....when we going to have some hot sex in the gardens?

Loved this chapter! I think Hermione is coming around slowly. She has a tight lid on a lot of self denial, LOL. At least they're getting on a little better now. They seem to have been practising talking to each other xD Love the pics for this chapter too! Look forward to the next chapter!

I know Hermione has a lot to get over, yet I find myself wondering when she is going to just live in the now? While I understand that she is trying, she just can't seem to get over everything all at once. That is a part of the shrew's charm.

You should know that you're one of the few authors who piqued my interest in the HG/LM pairing... I normally ship HG/SS, but I LOVE your descriptions of Lucius. This line is my favorite thus far:

'Instead, he lowered his head toward his chest, bowing to her severe ministrations on his behalf in an attitude of submissive majesty, reminding her of a great, tawny lion, offering to be petted, his power leashed, but still overwhelmingly potent. His mien was relaxed, even tired, but never weak.'

You should be so proud of your work. Your writing is EXQUISITE.

Lovely lemony chapter. I particularly like the part about how H felt when L used the towel, muggle technique, nice. Had to smile about the bath salt grit in her *blush* The authoresses experience in these matters shows!

ch 19 - hmm, their communications seems to be improving. She told him about her misconception about his wedding gift, they both apologized for their dinner misbehavior, they got together in the bathtub. Now he needs to replenish her supply of bath salts (does he really not know that those undissolved things are like sand under her??). Looking up! Oh, wait, they still have to move to Hogwarts and he hasn't told her about his "reputation" for endangering female students.... Thanks for updating, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

I really liked her compassion for Lucius. It still doesn't occur to him that he could have, instead of an underling or an alpha in their marriage, a *partner* (and a very loyal one at that). I'm sure he'll get there. Hermione's honest mention of her hurt feelings about the misunderstanding about the jewels was very brave and a great start. Quite the concession to honesty if she's willing to let him know she was jealous. That's big trust right there, as he very well can (and probably will) use it against her in the future.

OK. That was wonderful. I like that they connected, even if it was just through the physical. And it was a great mental break for me. I've had one of those weeks. Thanks!

that was an exquisite bath scene - usually i do laugh at your chapters because the fraught dynamics between the two are actually quite funny, but this scene was very, very intimate and very, very lovely in a quiet, slightly awkward, wordless way. in other words... i just loved it.

So it's official. Sev is from Burnley in Lancashire about six miles from me. It's a true cotton mill town with a very up and coming football(soccer for my American cousins)team. You've told me this as his tipple of choice is Benedictine and most of this liquer is drunk here than anywhere else in the world. It was brought back from France by servicemen in WW1 and they still love it. Burnley is also the bithplace of that other great wizard Gandalf. No not Tolkien but Sir Ian McKellen. Here endeth the first lesson. What an intriguing chapter. What with Cissy confirming her sexual predilections as a sumbissive to both men and Hermione still having the jury out a bit on hers. Your portrayal of all the characters is absolutely spot on with Severus still his own man yet opting for a calmer life and Lucius still attempting to exert as much control as possible over his young fiery wife. The language you use is so realistic and the prose so well written the chapters just flow and are so easy to read. Oh Hell! I've gone off on one of my "appreciation" rants a la Open University literature essays. I do try to be funny and witty in my reviews but sometimes it just comes out all sucky-upty. I'm getting a new air/spa bath soon could you send Lucius and/or Sev to come and test it with me? Please? Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx.
