    Chapter 18:

Oooh, the knot garden sounds lovely; I can almost smell the scent of the herbs on the breeze! Narcissa instituting girl talk with Hermione, hmmm, very interesting. I think Lucius is going to be a bit nervous by that!

The ex-Mrs. Malfoy is brighter than I first gave her credit for, she understands subtle nuances especially well, and Hermione realizes that and brings her defenses down! Okay, I got a HUGE smile on my face when Narcissa said she found Severus Snape restful! Perhaps Narcissa intended to have Hermione feel sorry for her ex? It

I'm not a lurker, but I'm reviewing anyway! Finally got around to reading up to date, having had this story bookmarked since chapter 1. Loving the story so far! I think Lucius is a lot more sensitive than he makes out to Hermione, and Hermione is perhaps behaving a little bit insensitively towards him... I'm also intrigued to fins out more about this plan of Severus' ??? Look forward to the next chapter!

Great chapter! After reading this addition, I am now humming and singing "Just Another Woman In Love" by Anne Murray. The song (IMHO) portrays a strong woman who is accepting a man into her life as a partner -- I think it fits perfectly into your story at this point. I am also imagining (and would like to see) a love scene with Hermione leading and setting the pace. I think that a slow, deliberate seduction would get Lucius exactly where he is vunerable and would go a long way to building the trust necessary for this relationship to prosper.

    CHAPTER 18:

What is it about women that makes us gossip in the bathroom? Though I am not so sure I would talk to my current husband's ex-wife about said husbands erotic habits. I get the feeling that Narcissa was again, too much fluff for Lucius, he needed a woman with a backbone with whom he could truly be himself, someone he could let go with and give her everything without worrying that she couldnt take or handle it. I am guessing he is beginning to see that potential with his spitfire of a new bride. Seems like Lucius requires a bit more imagination in his 'playtime' than Sev who just lays it all out there on the table and expects unquestioned compliance. No doubt for 'this' incarnation of Hermione Sev would have been driven to gag her during intercourse. It makes you imagine that as children Lucius was the one wearing a knights garb riding on his pony pretending to rescue a princess (or more than likely dressed as king planning to take over a country), using his imagination to make playtime more enjoyable where Severus sat with his chemistry sets where everything was laid out with precise instructions and expected outcomes.

Though I still can not bring myself to like Narcissa. I just cant! And I hated her 'look' in HBP...looked like an old woman. Did get a bit of a thrill when Sev chastised Bella though =)

Sheldon!! Another lover of geeks! I was joking with a friend that while I would not be on par with his intellect, I AM currently working with a ridiculously large number of comic books that were donated to our museum that has required me to gain an abnormally large amount of knowledge on the subject of comics and superheroes. So, being relatively well educated AND well versed on comics I could be the perfect woman for Sheldon...instead of talking dirty Ill simply talk "DC" and wear Wonder Woman underoos to bed. ;) And he and I share a frustration with creationists that could provide hours of conversation (had a man ask me if I thought dinosaurs were on the ark...I just walked away)...All my friends love Leonard but I think they are wrong...Sheldon is the way to go, they dont buy my theory that tall lanky men tend to be well hung LOL but I stand by it. Plus...and Im dating myself here...I always remember the line from Revenge of the Nerds when Betty asked Lewis "Are all nerds as good as you?" and he replied "Yes...all jocks ever think about are sports....all nerds think about is sex." Sheldon would be a god in the sack because you know he would have done extensive research into just what was going to make his partner experience "The Big Bang". =)

Until next time when you will be subjected to more of my ramblings...

    Happy Writing!!!!

Hermione is so intimidated by Cissy. She is jealous of the history she had with Lucius and that connection they will always have due to Draco. Hermione thinks her beauty pales in comparison to Narcissa. Hermione needs to realize yeah they had a history hell they were married for 20+ years and they have a child. The only thing that will ease her insecurites is Lucius. Whether or not he wants to do anything remains to be seen. Overall another excellent chapter.

Oh this is sad i just realised that i am one of your lurkers! usually i am much better than this1 :) i am loving how things are going espically with her learning so many things in this chapter! i am really loving narcissa's help rather intentally or not. ;) but i could just stab hermione for what she did to lucius by just simiply not wearing the jewels. well i do love that she got what was coming for not wearing them so now i do hope that some things will start going even more forward! ? :) so the reason you just stopped it there was to get us to review, right? and not to drive us crazy, right? :) catch you next chapter! :)

Very nice, very nice. I quite enjoyed the way Lucius and Severus interacted. They're both quite alluring in their own way, aren't they? Lucius is a Blonde Adonis, sculpted and smooth. Severus is like batman: (You didn't have a crush on him at one point? I know I had the actions figures just cause I thought he was ADORABLE) he's so dark and alluring.

Interesting interactions amongst all of the characters. Poor Lucius and his shins. I could rub/lick them for him if he would be so obliged as to let me. Good show, and I look forward to more lemons. Maybe Hermione has begun to see our dear Lucifer- Oop! I mean Lucius- in a new light. *Hopeful evil grin*

She's just reacting. But he gives her a lot to react to. I liked your Narcissa. Although, her reaction to Snape is adorable, and fun especially the way Hermione reacted to it. I hope Hermione and Lucius start to find some common ground.

Hello there, I'm one of the lurkers here. I've always wanted to review, but have always been at a loss as how to properly express how wonderful I think this story is. It makes me laugh and smile, and I just love the way you've portrayed everyone. You're an excellent writer, very talented. I can't wait to see how the rest of this unfolds. =D

Awesome chappy!!! I like the mutual eye opener for both Hermione and Lucius. I hope a friendship can blossom for Hermione and Cissy but I wouldn't place a major bet on that. It's nice to see Hermione begin to realize that Lucius is a bit human and that Lucius is beginning to open his eyes and mind. Or at least that's what I gleamed from the chappy. ^_^ Perhaps while in said tub they might have a somewhat heart to heart, but that is just me hoping. But I have this feeling that they are going to do everything the hard way and continue to beat their heads against the proverbial brick wall.

Keep up the good work, can't wait for the next chappy,

I think it was a good plot developement to give Hermione Narcissa's perspective on Lucius. She needed to hear what was different between the two of them as opposed to her relationship with him and how things could change for both of them. And Lucius needed to hear a few things as well about his behavior from an outside observer. Waiting for the next one!

Now this was a lovely chapter. You did so much here. I think Severus and Narcissa really gave both Hermione and Lucius something to think about and they are right, Lucius and Hermione are well matched. I thought it was well done on your part to show that Lucius is not as prejucidial as many think he, but he certainly is not going to show any weakness in front of Hermione until he is more sure of her and of course, she is of course feels the same about him. The conversation that Lucius had with Severus was very illuminating and probaby would have been very educational for Hermione had she not been having female bonding in the loo. They were challenged in this chapter to really start thinking about their reactions, thoughts and words, which of course is very important to your plot movement. On the whole, this chapter really shows how good they will be together when they finally get it together.

Hermione seems very...petty in this fic. Nothing at all like I imagine her to be, or how you wrote her before. It makes it really hard to like her. Was this your intent?

Love it! Especially the part where Lucius was worried what Narcissa was telling Hermione about him in the loo. Looking forward to reading the next part!
