Now, I shall endeavor to sleep, plagued by dreams of a luscious man laid out and languid on a bed ...

dingle-dangle? Why was I hearing that stupid ding-a-ling song? LOL ... more nakedness, please?

Lucius is such an expert manipulator. I hope Hermione knows what she is getting into. Actually I think she knows, but doesn't know how deep she will fall. You write a beautiful highly tense scene full of UST that I love to read.

Great update! I was reading this and was going "come on Hermione, just grab that a** already!". Really though I'm just impressed she didn't drool. I can't wait for more!

Thanks for the extra fingers. I'm still waiting for the judge's decision. Kind of nerve wracking, but I hope it just means that he's really taking the time to make the best decision possible.

Loved it! I love the line about him coming to her room naked. Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Sorry I didn't review Chap 6, I was moving. Though, just so you know my state of mind, I could have SWORN I did but apparently I messed up in hitting the 'send' button or I dreamt I wrote a review - all quite possible. I hate living out of boxes....sigh.

OKAY - well, I really thought Lucius lost a bit of footing at the top of this chapter. She really got under his skin at dinner. It was actually quite amusing. Also, I wanted to point out to Mr. Manners that scented candles at the dinner table is actually a no-no, it interferes with the aromas of the food. *sticks tongue out at Lucius* I was also really laughing at the entire sex on the table scene. My, she really is a bit naive? I knew Lucius had to have eaten more than foot there at least once. And I dare suspect, he'll be eating more than food there again. LMAO! Hell, she might as well. Who wouldn't want a bit of Lucius sausage? *blushes*

So, as I said, I thought Lucius lost a bit of footing at first but then she totally lost it and fell on her rump when it came to the clothes. She was really freaked and worried about clothes. I was kinda with Lucius on this one and bit perplexed. She can order anything she likes, he just wants her to have nice and appropriate things so she wouldn't ever feel uncomfortable in any social occasion. I actually gave points to him for that.

And as I'm reading further, I see that this really was a countdown to the looming wedding night. AND that Lucius is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I think he's playing the coy husband and Hermione is NOT going to know what the hell hit her as they become better acquainted, in the blibical sense! I think Lucius kink is going to come out and SHINE its light down on her! LOL

Great chapter. The tug 'o war was nearly even in this one but I'm afraid I think Lucius won this round! :-)

ch 7 - I'm curious as to The Plan that Severus thinks Lucius should disclose to Hermione, but it's fine if you want to hold off on it. OR, you could have Severus and Lucius discuss it (so that the curious readers know what it is) but still keep Hermione in the dark. Either way, I'm enjoying this story! My favorite and most poignant Lucius line this chapter: "Unless I decide to be obliviated, and I

Sorry I wasn't around to review the last chapter, although I did read of course. The breakfast chapter was good with beautiful detail and Snape's presence. Hermione can be a bit of a menace, she threatened to smash a window! I liked the next chapter even better. I really enjoyed all the conflict between them because it's like a middle-class person and then there is this aristocratic man who wants perfect etiquette. In fact, with the super long table it reminded me of a movie I recently saw, "The Duchess." The newly weds also sat at a long table that way. I am of course wondering what the plan is but I am eager for the consummation night too! I feel the plan has something to do with reeling in those Gryffindors you mentioned who now control the ministry. I just hope Snape/Lucius don't use Hermione like a puppet.

okay my dear you have two options one just go right to what ever the slytherins where planning and just skip the smut, but be warned that we will have to hunt you down and kill you--of course. or you other option and the best one, just give us the smut and satisfy us because you know we are all less cranky when we get it and it just would not be you and your story if you didn't. :) so try not to keep us waiting any longer cause like lucius we have no more patince. :) so do post quick like if you please!!! :)

Don't you dare take out the smut! You write it too well!!! Very good chapter very funny! The dinner table was a laugh and a half.

"The highlight of the meal for her was when she tucked her napkin into the top of her dress and plopped both elbows onto the table as she ate. The look on the blond wizard

Oh, you wicked, wicked woman. You know we want the smut. My life's been crazy the last few weeks so I just got to this story, so I guess it's been easier for me to read so many chapters at once. However, I like a big buildup both for the sex and the mystery. As always your writing is above par. I'm eagerly awaiting Lucius and Hermione getting more intimate both physically and emotionally. I'm also very curious about this version of Severus and Narcissa. At least we know more than Hermione. That something is going on, so I'm content for now to find out what exactly that is when Hermione does.

I know I said that I was desperate to know what they have planned but you are the author this is your baby so I say stick with the smut(lets be honest who doesn't like that)then get to the plan. I will wait and I hope you stick with what you have planned. I loved the whole dinner scene and hope Lucuis sees where he might have to give a little also besides Hermione changing everything for him and his pureblood life style. Thanks and Happy Writing.

    Chapter 7:

Don't apologize for no lemons, you are building up incredible tension between the two. Hermione is walking a very, very fine line and has no clue as to repercussions! Whatever you are building up to is gonna be HAWT.

Does she really dislike the scent of the candles or is it because he makes her feel so contrary? I suspect the latter.

I think all of the cutlery and dishes and glasses would throw me off as well. I'd be watching to see what he used before picking up the utensil! She sure does like to push his buttons, you'd think she'd remember not too push too hard but the fact that she enjoys seeing him lose control is interesting, it's like reading about someone poking at a beehive with a stick thinking nothing too bad will happen....

Yes, his patience is coming to end, I was wondering how long he would last, first he insults her wardrobe then he is riding roughshod on her table manners. I suppose I'd do the same thing as she to retaliate against his snobbery! Boy, Howdy, taking her meals standing up, another comment that sailed over her curly, little head. She should be glad if she hasn't realized it yet he gives warning before taking action. The man is getting turned on by his snippy miss.

His study sounds amazing, I'd like to curl up in there, sounds like Hermione would like that too. Oops, I spoke too soon, she does know he gives warning before action and what is she doing? She is pushing, pushing, pushing. Goody, sounds like role-playing will occur down the line as well! The two of them are going to combust shortly if the tension continues to mount!

I think the next chapter is going to be a good one! Awesome story, LaBib!

    Chapter 6:

Uh oooooh, testing, testing, testing. Hermione is seeing how far she can push her big blond hunk. Love the car by the way, my husband's car is actually a green mini cooper if you can believe it! The automobile seems perfect for her, I could so see her tooling around the estate in her little car to check out what and where things are!

"If your sperm count is low," oh ouch, Hermione can really send those zingers right where they will prick him the hardest. I'm surprised he ignored it but I suspect he knows he's being tested, perhaps he wants to see how far she'll push?

I love that you have Lucius still close to both Narcissa and Snape so they worry about him. That means they will be interested in the direction his marriage takes, wanting him to be settled as opposed to restless.

I sense an impending battle coming up in the next chapter... at dinner no less!

    Love the story, wonderful writing!

The day will come when she'll relish in being drawn into his "sensuous web".

He expects her to ring the bell without letting her know that she's meant to? After all that talk about how she's of a lower class, he really expects her to know quite a lot about upper class etiquette.

To actually set up all the cutlery is a lot harder than using them... *sigh* the things you learn in home ec.

    Chapter Five

I'm behind in all my reading but what a wonderful treat to look forward to reading!

I liked how she immediately noticed that with the one swat she could feel that his backside was especially firm. It would make me want to peek and uncover said "arse", especially looking for the two lovely little dimples that grace an especially fine ass!

Ohhhh, I want to be the one waking up Lucius, he can grab me anytime!

I'm glad that Lucius saved Snape, I love stories where he didn't die.... seems rather unfair that in the HP books his life was so miserable. So it's very nice to see he is up and about busily scheming with his best bud and I assume, happily married to the lovely Narcissa!

Funny that she is so desperately looking for anything that might keep him in bad light in her eyes, he's decrepit, ancient, has problems using the loo or he must because he's in there for such a long time, he's a Malfoy, and above all HUNG. Yeah, I see her pulling up in her mind this mental picture that keeps Lucius in the "bad category" but I suspect she won't be able to keep that up if Lucius has anything to say about it.
