Chapter 6: As a non-cat lover (allergies) I have to say I enjoyed Lucius's taunting of Crookshanks. Still not certain how I feel about Snape with Narcissa...but thats prolly the green dragon rearing its head, I love Snape.....if I could have the power to make a fictional character come to life it would be Snape =)

Anyhow....looking forward to more fireworks, I really love a good argument. Always have....I wonder if Hogwarts had a debate team? I was on the debate team, loved it.....ooops, rambling...sorry....well done =)

    Happy Writing!

I've been reading this story since it was first posted it, and i really like it. however, something seemed off to me and i finally figured it out. When Lucius stated that it he wanted more kids and it was okay to have them with Hermione because he had Draco to carry on the pureblood line, it hit me that Hermione should be bothered by that statement, i know i would. He's created a nasty trap here. Hermione and the second set of kids will wonder if he loves them as much as he loves his first son because they're not "pure." No matter what they do or accomplish, it won't matter, because Draco is the golden child. Well, by his logic and what he said Hermione, that is. It's terrible when parents play favorites, and I can't see Hermione standing for that crap and coming to blows over it. If he really wants more kids, he needs to get over a few things, or he'll lose his wife and kids. Just because they live with you doesn't mean they want to be there, and teenagers can make you wish they weren't there. I hope Hermione thinks about all the crap Lucius said that day and sets him straight on a few things.

    thanks for sharing your story.

yes I was finally able to catch up on the three chapters I was behind. There is too much to comment on. Very tender scene when Lucius was comforting Hermione after her break down. Maybe there marriage isn't as bad as it could be,(of course I already knew that LOL). I laughed my butt off about the mini green Coup! How did she manage to get the mechanic to park in the barn? LOL The comment about the Laptop and Wifi had me rolling on the floor again. I hope Hermione gives Lucius hell while she is pretty much locked in the manor, is he ever going to let her out? I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds.

Were there many throwing bricks at the Snape/Narcissa pairing?

Ha! Lol-ness :) I can't believe she managed to get a car in AND consult a mechanic about parking it in the barn!

Hehe! It's not his money. Teehee! This just keeps getting better :D

"That had only added to his funk, so the newlyweds had decided together it was time for Lucius to be married again."
I love it how they just decide that Lucius should be married and off he goes and gets married ^.^

Huh? What? A temporary measure? You mean he actually wants Draco to live with them? Bleh! Maybe Draco could conveniently find a girlfriend while he's off living on his own and being independent and whatever, marry her and move to France or something... I don't want him being around the Manor if he's going to be such a grumpy bum.

The laptop and Wifi caught my attention. I would imagine the Manor having a ton of magic in the wards, etc. Has she found a way to make them work?

I love that Lucius decided he could work with her kissing him back.

I can't wait to see where you take this next! I am anxious to see how Hermione acts in the bedroom... I can't imagine it will be pretty! :) I laughed at the green Mini Cooper!! Too funny!! I can't wait for more.

Man, if I were Hermione, I would never go dine with Severus seeing as he betrayed her instead of helping her. She's pretty much being used for whatever reproduction problems purebloods are having. And I can't believe she's not arguing about their intimacy date or being locked inside. Give him hell, Hermione!

Oh my, I had much to catch up on here. Lucius enjoys the bare-handed treatment, eh? Yum!

Snape is up to no good, conniving, snarky, deliciously dark and Narcissa? He married Narcissa? I certainly hope she is waiting on him hand and foot!

I loved the Snape/Lucius banter! Honestly, I thought there was more chemistry between Snape and Lucius in that one little scene than between Lucius and our heroine so far. Hermione comes across as bitchy and childish rather than feisty and opinionated, (even given the circumstances of her reluctant nuptials). Although I am not a slash fan, I actually wanted Lucius to jump Snape on the settee so he wouldn't end up with that window-threatening shrew. Maybe he should think about resurrecting that other Black sister, anything to avoid Hermione....

Nevertheless, you are an extraordinary writer, one of my absolute favorites in the fandom, and I eagerly look forward to what will happen next!

I liked the Snape/Narcissa pairing--he's lead a rather adventurous life and in this incarnation, I could see him wanting to settle down to a restrained, quiet life of comanionship if not volcanic passion. I also like your Hermione-the-businesswoman take, it is an area where they would be able to come together rather easily.

You are one of my favorite authors.
However, I am having trouble falling in love with this fic.
The pace is going so slow.
Though I will continue to read each incoming chapter. Hoping that it will speed up soon.

ch 6 - My favorite line: "Given enough time the blond git could convince a zombie it needed life insurance." It's so true, but Lucius seems to be lacking in confidence. Poor blond git, missing his son. I'm glad Severus is still his friend, and even Cissa cares for Lucius. I just hope Lucius tells Hermione about The Secret, as Severus advised; Herm's temper can be formidable, and Lucius would be lucky if she only sends canaries after him. Crookshanks is a good judge of character and he doesn't have a problem with Lucius? That would be a good sign for Hermione. Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for their first night Together, but I won't make any bets on it! Thanks for the new chapter.

I need to know what they have up their sleeves for Hermione, its driving me insane. I usually don't ask authors for this but please udate soon.... I have to say I like the fact that you placed Snape on the sofa relaxed and eating nuts of all things. I think some stories he is so uptight and I can see with Lucius he would be more himself than his persona that he projects. Well happy writing...by the by I love the mini. Thanks!
