Haha, If it's possible to "accio" people, then I wanna accio Draco, dammit. The whole needing to focus on what you're summoning bit would be a piece of cake. X]

And since everyone else is mentioning Gregory in their reviews, I suppose I must too. :P

Here's my Gregory theory: Dearborn set her up. I haven't thought about his motive much since he hates dark lords but loves dark magic, but I think he's getting closer to Draco to be able to better back stab him or use him for something illicit later on. Thus Gregory, while a bitch, is still good, so when she saw Harry her instinct was to protect The Boy Who Lived. It would also explain why, when she saw Draco, she recognized him as Dearborne's only what-do-you-call-it...student assistant trainee person when Dearborne said he never took mentorees. So knowing Draco's past affiliation with voledemort (cuz that's no secret), she assumed that Draco was involved in Dearborne's plot. When she saw Draco and Harry together, she could have just seen Draco as a threat to both herself and Harry and tried to eliminate the threat.

As for the whole matter of her using Dark magic. Meh. Whatever works. If she's a wizard that specializes in hand-to-hand combat then you can hardly count her as "conventional" to begin with. She's also a bit rougher around the edges, so her having a favorite dark spell to use in a pinch (since, let's remember, she WAS grossly outnumbered in this last scene) wouldn't surprise me in the least. In the end though, I'd have to wait for more plot to be revealed to make an assumption about her dark magic usage though.

Let's see....am I forgetting anything? Oh! as for why she didn't tell the other teacher that was with Dearborne when they confronted her about the (planted) evidence she was going through....well. Hell, could be anything from something lame like shock to something a little less lame like the other teacher's in on it too, to something else entirely that we can't see yet. *shrugs*

All-in-all Gregory's still on the good side of the Naughty/Nice list in my books.

    *shrugs*

...crap, i didn't mean to write so much on that...

Ooooh...the plot thickens. What is Gregory all about? Maybe caught up in too much...maybe a spy? Hmmmmm....and things are heating up between Draco and Harry...though at a snail's pace (not insulting your craft...just displaying my exasperation with Harry's obliviousness). Though it's good I care about the characters, yes?

This is definitely a far cry from Hogwarts as far as these professors in their relations with their students go. Looking forward to why Gregory acted the way she did. Great chapter.

Chapter 20: I like how they are working things out together.

Chapter 21: Pain to tell Draco when Harry is in trouble? Oh, poor Draco. *snickers* He will never stop feeling that pain.

Now I'm really confused about Gregory....

    Thanks for another great chapter.

I have been wondering when you would bring Hagrid back into the story but I cetainly didn't expect such a brilliant cliff-hanging turn of events.

Evil cliffie! But thanks for the explanation.
God, Gregory is un-freaking-believable. I have no idea what to think about her anymore. Was she caught playing both sides and Nihil's forces caught up with her?
    Great chapter! Keep writing!

    about #21...

    1. I was beginning to wonder if you would mention Nemo again.
What took ya' so long? ..and it's good to see Hagrid again, didn't
realize I missed him, until the name was mentioned.

    2. the Fortress Shield...nice touch. :-)

    3. ...and a curse upon thee for ending the chapter there!!!

    Oh, my, what a mess!
I had completely forgotten about good old Hagrid. Leave it up to him to bring Harry in life-threatening danger.
And I suspect Dearborn. Yes I do.

Great chapter. Oh, the many possibilities for what could be in that letter! I'm so eager to know! It's interesting that Harry would tell Draco about his issues h=with Ginny but not with what's in the letter, hmm...
Go Harry for standing his ground against Ron. I love an assertive!Harry.
    Keep going!

Poor Draco really. There was no way he could continue that discussion. Harry is too one tracked and unshakeable sometimes. lol. Nice chapter. I kind of like the intense reaction Harry gave Ron when Ron continued to prod.
