Dearborn's sudden darkness there surprised me. While he certainly can't be Snape, I hope Draco doesn't have to lose a good mentor because of betrayal, because of Dearborn's wish for revenge or something of that sort. But it seems like Draco's got a pretty good read on him. I just about smacked my own head when Ron decided to use the fact that Harry didn't call Snape by his first name as an actually arguable point. But I'm glad that he has been made happy. All I hope for now is that Harry is able to keep his promise to Ron to meet later.

    1. Okay, mah' dear, it just occured to me that you haven't metioned
that mystery man who was sitting with Hagrid in that pub in Chap' 3.

    Wasn't he important?

    2. We can have a life outside each other. We can be friends, but
    that doesn

Chapter 16: Last chapter I was worried about Draco... Now I'm worried about Dearborn... Now, Ron isn't going to go soft, is he? He's still going to be a pain. lol. I like that the change goes both ways. I wonder what will happen to surprise Draco about how much Harry will actually change him?

They have the 'death eaters' in custody now don't they? So are Harry and Draco going to get to interview or at least observe an interrogation of them.

Draco's reactions... It might be terrible, but I can't find them anything but adorable. And I'm glad for Harry, afterall this is a much better thing to be sure and determined about then his forced life before (during the war). Just one (hopefully helpful) note, a friend recently made a small essay on wandlore, and covered Draco particularly. In it she showed me something I hadn't noticed before: Draco didn't pick his wand. In the first book he talks to Harry and says that Narcissa was at Ollivander's picking his wand for him. It might have meant that she was picking up the wand for him, one that Draco had already chosen, but with Faithwood's essay, I now see it as that was why Harry was able to use Draco's wand so easily. It had no loyalty. Just a theory. Great chapter. Out of the two stories, I really love this one.

Ch15: I was getting a little worried there about Draco and his obsession with Harry... That was cute, passing the note in class. *smiles*

Excellent! Draco as possessing friend and maybe with more intimate intention; and Ron with jealously; I loved.

*damn, I hate when I'm tired and try to type something...*

I could a have cousin like that who works in Hollywood and has connections
in certain circles. God knows I was awestruck by her.

    about #15...

I never thought I'd lived to see the day that Harry Potter would ACTUALLY
grow balls of steel and stand up for his right to choose AND stand by
    those choices.

Because, for some reason, readers/authors are SO stuck on him being the
befuddled young boy, that they forget that he has to eventually grow
up and start being a young man.

I like this young man that I'm seeing.

I, also, liked the confrontation between Harry & Ron, though I hate the
fact Harry had to go to Ron first, but at least, it's out the way.

Now, folks will confuse [or maybe not] Draco's possessive thinking as some
type of Love Confession, when it's not.

I know EXACTLY how it feels to be friends with someone who you consider
larger than life, has more influence than you could ever dream of or just
have an aura about them that makes you proud or special that it is YOU
that they've included in THEIR circle.

I could a have cousin like that who works in Hollywood and has connections
in certain circles. God knows I was awestruck by her. :-)

What else? Oh yeah, this chapter had a feel of something that YOU'VE
experienced yourself at school. Have you?

All in all, you're pulling this off rather nicely. Not bad mah' dear...

PS-I envy your ability to type so fast, I still do 2 fingers. Don't laugh
at me! I'm fast at 2 fingers! Slow at multiples...
