Wow, I have to say I did not expect this turn of events. Stupid Dumbledore. What is he thinking? Does he think Ron's parents would like a brain dead son? Well, I know I'm being mean, but Molly might like a more tactable son that she can hook up to Hermione and have lots of little red headed genius grandkids she can brag about. Hopefully Molly would care more for Ron than that. I am so angry with Dumbledore. Now what will happen to Ron and Severus? Can they manage as muggles in Paris or will the stress tear them apart? Somehow I hope their love will give them the strength to see things through. I love Ron's strength in this and how he took the lead. He's the most unsubmissive sub I've ever seen and I love him like this. I hope Severus does too.

Yell at you? I'm about to cry - well metaphorically speaking -
Lovers on the run - could it get any better?
I love the beginning with S running in a panic - something I can't imagine him ever doing - for anyone.
    Excellent as always.

    Of course Dumbledore!

Them against the world, right? :-) That was much more than I expected, but I would have done the same thing if presented with the same choices.

I hope their options become better in the near future.

    Loving the story!

Poor Severus - to be turned like that. If he hadn't been found by another vampire who had enough ethics to help him along, he'd be dead by now. Confessing just how humiliating his own turning had been must have not been easy on him, especially when, immediately after, Ron tensed and got away from him, no matter his reasons for doing so.

And Ron's a very, very confused boy. He does not know what are Severus's expectations of him, or how to act, trying to compensate Severus's instincts with his own uncertainty about a normal relationship, and his own needs.

And I think it's sweet of them to squeeze all the time they can to be together before Albus's decision.

Just in case I do not have the time to read the next chapter and review before you go, hope you have a great time this weekend!

LOL, you know when I mentioned Dumbledore having them up for tea I wasn't really thinking it would happen. I was more expecting Molly to descend on the school demanding Ron come home and toe the line. Still, I knew the confrontation with Dumbledore would come eventually, somehow I just thought it would come later. I loved Ron in this chapter. I love how he stood up for Severus and I think one of my favorite parts was when he accurately zeroed in on why Dumbledore really let Severus stay after he was turned. So many people write Ron off as being stupid, forgetting that he was the one who figured out the chess problem first year. Sadly JKR didn't really seem to show Ron's intelligence after that, as if it was almost a fluke, but I like to think Ron's much smarter than everyone gives him credit for.

Oh my goodness! I've been busy for work and you've already posted 8 chapters! Amazing... I love this story, everything about it is just so spicy. I love how you still manage to keep Ron & Snape true to their characters and how they dance around each other. Thank you for posting!!

Well, it seems our Mr. Weasley is getting his head around the whole situation of vampirism, but how is he going to handle the family/friend thing? I'm glad he's so determined (at this point) I just can't help feeling this isn't quite over and we haven't truly seen the extent of Severus' convictions yet - have we?

Can't wait to see where we're headed next....

Dumbledore might care about Severus and Ron, but the situation is difficult. Whilw Ron might be of age, and has been the instigator for the whole thing, he is still a student, and Severus still a teacher.

Ron's starting to see that he is going to deal with a lot of things if he continues with Severus, starting by Severus's mood swings, and ending with his own future. It's not going to be easy, as most truly valuable things are.

And, at least while they await for Albus's decision, they have decided to continue just like until now, with Ron unwilling to give Severus's up, and Severus trying to convince Ron that Albus has not forbidden it yet.

I had wondered what it was that kept drawing Ron and Severus together. I was sure there was more going on than just an invitation. I get the feeling though that things are still going on and changing and I can't wait to see where they go. I also can't wait to see what happened to turn Snape into a vampire. As for the dominance thing, well in your other stories I loved that they were more equal and I admit I've always had a thing for bottom Snape, but as long as he doesn't go too over the top I daresay I can deal with a more domineering Snape. Besides, I get the feeling Ron will only let things go far before he puts his foot down. So what is happening next chapter I wonder? Do they get a little careless? Does Dumbledore have them up for a bit of tea and a chat? Does Ron get another Howler? Oh Lord, don't tell me the twins come for a visit?

It was worth the wait. Yes glad to get more of the explanation of the pulls that they have for each other and the other issues. That was what I was talking about when I said I was confused by the Lore. I wasn't very smitten with Bridgette but maybe later on she'll warm up to me. Seriously the sex was amazing and I love how Snape is dom. Ron is such a sub though it's nice when he exerts himself. But I see Snape more of a true dom anyway. Ron wants someone to tell him what to do but with a purpose unlike Hermione who does it cause she wants to. Still sad about Ron's family treating him so poorly, yet he seemed to not be as bothered as I'd thought he'd be. I'm intrigued but worried/cringing to what you seem to have in store for these two. Are you hinting to what Snape's friend suggested? Noooooooo. Waits patiently. Is pleased as long as stories are finished and not left in that WIP realm.

A wonderful story and I am looking forward to more! Go with your instincts!

As for your questions, Severus is never anything exept domimant in a relationship and to think about changing that with Ron of all people would be blasphemy in my view.
I also look for and appreciate the us against the world concept other than the world against us concept. Ron and Severus have finally bonded and I hope that bond will give them power and strength to deal with their world rather than making them weaker.
I'm sure there will be agnst, you have already aluded to that, but short periods of agnst losing to strength and determination would be welcome.

However, what ever you decide to write I will read and enjoy I am sure! :-)

You did ask and I answered.
