So far I love, love, love this story! I can't wait to see where it goes. Finally, someone who writes Dumbledore the way I see him. I have always found Dumbledore's use and misuse of children for the "greater good," which is usually his own agenda, to be a slightly distasteful trait in the "noble" headmaster and always firmly believed that someone as smart as Hermione is billed to be and as intuitive as Harry can be, when he isn't blinded by his need to have people accept and care about him, they should have seen the problems with Dumbledore's omissions and half-truths. I think you have handled this beautifully. I also love the way you portray the Ron Weasley character, who is one of my least favorite in the books. I have always found him whiny, entitled, immature, irrational, selfish and an overall ass, pretty much exactly the way you have written him. Making it totally unbelievable to really imagine that a girl like Hermione would end up with him and not kill him at some point during the marriage. So I love the way your characters are written!

Even though things like "elegant bowel" can disrupt a story (and lol at that), this has me interested far past your occasional mishaps. :) The only thing maybe to look into at this point if you wanted to keep editing your work is your homonyms - they're, their, there, your, you're, and when each of them is used. That is really the only big one that you seem to be struggling with (everyone does it from time to time). But like i said before, it doesn't take away from how fresh your story is. You're doing really well with Hermione's character and not letting her slip into a Mary-Sue role where everything she does is perfect. You had her get hit when the order was trying to catch her, and she panicked with Ron and apparated everywhere, which keeps her more human sounding. I'm really exited to read more!!! Wonder how awesome she's going to do in that dueling room :)

I'm absolutely in love with this story. It is very well written and has an original story line. You don't see many stories in which Dumbledore is the bad guy, it's hard to imagine. But you are doing an excellant job. Great work. I can't wait for your next update. : )

You're doing fine. The description of Hermione and her Mom escaping had me on the edge of my chair. I thought it was very well written with a lot of great action happening that was still concise. I like how Hermione has her vulnerable moments but still has smart and bossy self. I also think you have created complex characters with shades of gray. What a great explanation of why Percy was estranged from his family. This is decidedly one of my favorite stories.

keep on going! don't worry about the beta issue---the grammatical errors are minor and don't detract from the story. i would hate for you to hit a road block.

Your PMS comment cracked me up. I completely understand. I loved this story. It's so unique and there are not very many good "Hermione is a Pureblood or adopted" stories out there and I find them fascinating. I can't wait to see why Draco is to ticked off. Maybe the signature thing?

Sorry about your PMS; I get quite psychotic a few days a month as well. Still, it does lead to some interesting journal entries, I suppose. I enjoyed the chapter very much, and I do like the idea of Harry willingly staying undercover with that rat Ron to get the fake horcruxes from Dumb-as-a-door. I have a theory about how Hermione's lineage will line up with the magical objects and their purpose, and I am waiting eagerly to see if I am wrong--you've surprised me before with this one. Twisty and detailed, just the way I like to read 'em, even if I can't write them like that! More!

6: Yah! You updated! =D This is certainly an interesting chapter. What did they all expect? Diagon Alley? Of course, it's going to be somewhere shady such as Knockturn Alley. Is Draco jealous or is he angry that she went there before? Severus' reaction was cute in a way because I've always imagined him to be such a darkish character (that he would understand the darkness). Anyways, I really enjoyed this chapter and I can't wait for the next one! =D

Loved the new chapter with all the additional plot strings being woven in. Some distracting grammer/spelling typos, but the plot continues to intrigue me. :D

The story is going well. You might think about getting a beta to smooth out the rough areas, but otherwise the story is going fine. As for the PMS, girl, I feel your pain. One time in one of my own stories I came close to wanting to kill off everyone because my body was a PMSing to the max. I took to bed, took pain reliever, and watched shows that made me laugh. Hope things go better next month and keep up the good work.

I never considered an evil Dumbledore until I started reading fanfic. And an evil Ron too? Wow. And so far, it is believeable! (I mean that as fairly high praise, since many fics seem to make large leaps without proper motivation)
    Uncle Snape too, haha,that's awesome.
I'm interested to see what that wand cuff thing is all about and if Draco will tell Hermione its properties. I hope so, because she's bound to find out anyway. She is Hermione, after all.
I'd be excited to see more Hermione/Theo sibling development in future chapters (nudge, nudge), but it's understandable that it sort of takes a back seat to the Draco/Hermione development. At any rate, I'm excited to see what your imagination has planned for the future here. Keep up the good work!
