That was perfect and beautiful and so incredibly graceful. Your words were just the perfectly seasoned, exactly balanced something that was required. As you can tell, I'm not as good with words as you are. I truly enjoyed it all. But especially this chapter. I loved Draco's swiftness and skill. I lovved Dumbledore's sorrow and triumph. I loved Fawke's unexpected gift. I loved Harry's smile about James and the instinctual usage of the same magic his mother possessed. But I most loved the scene with the Snapes as Severus asked him to show him his son's true face and then to hide it during battle. I could go on for ages. Suffice it to say, I was awed by this chapter and I thank you for it.

I love how you made Voldemort so insignificant, and finished him off so quickly. Please give me more soon. I have been following since chapter one was uploaded months ago, but been unable to say anything. I guess it's not until something is nearly over that you realize what it meant to you.. Thank you for the most amazing story I have ever read. I would have loved this to have been the last hp-book! More soon, please! Though I really don't want it to be over, I NEED to read more. Soon.

Oh I won't actually be disappointed with a lack of sex. (I just naturally assume all stories go that way eventually in here as the usually do in like 90% of the crap posted on here. lol) This story is so amazingly awesome and fully developed that it doesn't need a crutch like smut to make it readable.

Also, Harry defeated Voldemorte WITH LOVE. Holy shit! Even Rowling wasn't able to pull that off as well as you did. Serious fucking props, man. He killed him with love and it wasn't stupid, corny or cheesy. I am fully impressed.

Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see how you end this.

I like the way you handled the "battle" - especially Harry's realization of Voldemort's insignificance. That worked really well; it resonates with the rest of your story thus far. I'm a little sad that Harry didn't get to show off some of his kick-ass dueling skills (because they are simply just that cool). Couldn't a Death Eater or two have stayed around afterwards to fight him until Snape arrived? I suppose your ending was more elegant, but still. Maybe I can just imagine that he'll come across some vengeful Voldemort supporters during the summer or something like that. :) Thanks for the chapter!

u always have a way of wording things to make it seem like that was the best resolution, choice or revelation. as if it only makes sense that that would be THE outcome. i appreciate how u incorported harry's love and where it stems from as a reference to book five. it worked very well. i'm assuming one more chapter to sum things up. sigh... so it really will be a slow death. ah well it'll be worth the wait. til next time! ja ne!

Sweet glorious gods. That was gorgeous. Absorbing, beautiful, intense, passionate. I need a cuddle and a bit of a cry now, and it's not even over. Now I will reread and proceed with the awed silence.

    about #46....

After reading the conclusion Dumbleduck had figured early on, I
    find myself...disappointed.

I hoped Harry would have been the one to tell him instead of
    the 'I'm-so-much-wiser-and-will-only-tell-you-on-a-need-to-know-basis'
old man letting on how he *wink..wink* KNEW.

I would like to see SOMEone be ahead of the game before the old
man for a change and him admitting that he just didn't see that coming.

    For once...

Wow, I love your fic, I know that I don't review as often as a lot of other people do but I imagine you would get tired of me telling you how wonderful I think your fic is and how I check every three days to see if you have posted an update, although as creepy as it sounds I generally check daily on the off chance that you were feeling rather generous. I also enjoy reading your one shots and Soldiers in between updates. Thank you for your wonderful work and as much as I look forward to seeing HOW this ends I do believe I will still be sad when it does. Anyway, much luck in life and much happiness also... ~K

Now I'm waiting for Draco to try and pull a Ginny and offer himself up sexually to Harry before he leaves to go off to battle. LOL Not that I'm trying to rush you into throwing them together in a pairing. I hate it when authors do that and I am greatly enjoying the fact that we're 46 or so chapters into the story and it continues to progress at its own pace. :D

    Keep up the great work.

the road sure has been winding. and of course dumbledore had his hands in everything to begin with though his influence may not have been strong. i like that observation. i won't deny that dumbledore has blatantly manipulated things but i also think that, just as often, he relied on things working out on their own. case in point third book. i do like dumbledore but i'll never deny that he can be very irritating. i feel bad for the slytherins. harry rarely gets anything but the short end of the stick it seems. as always enjoyed the update. ummm.... will the sequel to mark of the fox be up and running soon? i's dying of curiosity yet again. and it's a such a slow agonizing death, too. til next time! VIVA!
