Don't make the cuppa recipe. It's a line from Steel Magnolias. I'm in the play and we thought it'd be fun to make it one night. It was awful. Really, really gross. Even if I cared for cooked grapes...no.

I love all the quirkiness of your writing. You have a marvelous sense of humour and you see things that I wouldn't connect but you bring them to attention without making us [your readers] feel moronic for not having seen it first.

Your review sing-a-long this week made me have to squee loudly, then point it out to my man. Him, his mom and I are the only people I know who like (or have heard of) MGT, and Kids is one of our favorite songs by them. I was definitely not expecting it to show up here! Oh, and of course I'm still loving the story and still rating, even if I don't review all the time (most of the time i'm reading from bed and the keyboard won't reach). I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds!

Bad Sirius! What will they do to him? The mind boggles.

No idea about the song, though I'm betting I've heard it, LOL.

'Hot child in the city'? Don't know the band, though, and I probably should, darn it. I really feel sorry for poor Pepper the elf, if she finds out the orders weren't quite so restrictive, lol. and I do love Sirius getting beaned with the lamp, LMAO! Why would she think that Lucius would recognize Perry Mason's name? He's still not all that hep on Muggle culture and the series wasn't that popular in Britain anyway, I don't think. Now, please, please update fast so I can find out what Sev does to Sirius? Pretty please?

I remembered the name of the song from the quote, so I'm in this time. "Hot Child in the City", by Nick Gilder.

That was a very enjoyable read. I loved the vanishing act by the houseelves. And I am bursting with curiosity about Sirius' punishment.

Recipe? I'm sure this isn't what you meant, but I'm feeling snarky.

Cuppa cuppa cuppa, via Steel Magnolias.
Cuppa flour, cuppa sugar, cuppa fruit cocktail...with the juice. Mix then all together and bake at 350 until gold and bubbly. Sounds aweful rich. It is, so I serve it over ice cream to cut the sweetness.

Correction: right title, wrong singer, I was told by my sister that it's Ann Murray, not Helen Reddy. Sorry. Do I get half a cookie?
