The story is very very enticing and your capture if the hogwarts life is so precise and reminds me of my childhood years. Loving the romance between hermoine and voldy and Hahahahah the jokes in the story line. However, could you please tell me how long a gap does each story have inbetween?

Hm, I'm not quite getting all these time-travel-theories, but ooooh, well. So 19-year-old Tom saw his older counterpart from timeline #2 die, and now he gets to move back in time to to make sure that doesn't happen a second time, by altering the timeline again so it becomes #3. So far, I'm with you. But that doesn't explain who made Hermione and C:O go back in time in timeline #1. Because if Tom knew what would happen then, then he would have already changed it and thus they would have been in timeline #2 already. So who was it that made them move back in time, in timeline #1?!

Oh, well. I'm hoping that Tom will make true of his promise and make sure Hermione stay with him in timeline #3. Mehehehhe. And now he has one year of waiting to do. Good thing we doesn't have to wait so long to find out what's going to happen! I can already see Hermione's PoV beginning.

"I could already imagine Riddle saying, 'Oh, you're cold?' and then casting the Fiendfyre curse on me" - Me too, actually. When did Draco become so insightful?

About the forest scene... is it just me, or do every forest in fanfiction and the HP canon seem awfully easy to walk through? All flat, no sudden cliffs, big streams or so dense with trees and bushes that you simply can't walk through it? No, every problem people encounter in forests in the HP-world are strictly magical creatures messing things up. Granted, that makes it more thrilling... oh, well. Just a thought that hit me. And if you can think of a single fanfic with a forest that is believable please tell me, because I can't think of anyone.

Tsk, they are clever enough to use an anti-slip-spell, but not clever enough to transfigure solid snow-shoes. Englishmen... *shake head* Okay, that depends on where in Germany they are and how much snow there is... anyway, moving on with the chapter ;)

HA! Haven't Draco learned that the Ferret joke will NEVER get old! MAHAHAH!

Don't see why they are blaming Draco for knowing the German word for Mudblood. Kids ALWAYS learns the bad words first in another language. The only French I can is a naughty song about two black people having sex. In Finnish, I also know a verse with the line "and blue smoke is rising from the arse", as well as "perkele" which is... eh, not very nice.
Oh... but the only words I know in Mandarin are "open your mouth", which doesn't HAVE to be bad (my dentist father taught me it), but with a mind in the gutter, that easily becomes very naughty so... eh... nevermind... eh... my point was... okay, so I understand Draco.

Ooh, I wonder, with Grinderwald still in power, if the Second World War is still on the roll? I always thought JK did some sort of hint to Grinderwald being behind Hitler's triumphs. Although... if US still used the atomic bomb on Japan, I guess that pretty much ended that part of the war. Hm...

"Scared, Draco?" Harry asked with a challenging smile.

"You wish," Draco muttered. - OOooh, second movie-flashback XD Was that your idea too? Hihihi. Funny.

So now they are on a mission to change the timeline in a way they like it to be. HA! Good luck with that! I think Tom will have very different plans... I mean, he knows Hermione will be in German -48 so... yeah. He is probably there, waiting. He has finished school, after all. Will be interesting to see where you take this next! It's insane how long this fic is becoming, but very interesting :) Thanks for the chapter and good luck with the next one!

Oh yeah! New chapter! Can't believe I missed it for so long!
"Try Apparating with me, my Lord, and I'll make sure we both end up getting Splinched somewhere in Africa," she had warned, staring at him pointedly." Finally! It only took her three chapters to say no. I mean, it was his M.O after "Avada-Imperio-Crucio".
So Voldemort is the one that sent them to the past in that timeline ? Makes sense, avoiding the paradox was crucial for his position. Sacrifices must be made, even if it means enduring Draco, Harry and most of all Ginny ( Okay, that was uncalled for. Still...those redheaded siblings....)
And know they can properly assess the situation, since they are not turned into animals or...having a conversation with the Dark Lord. Good. I really feel bad for Draco. No matter what timelie, he still suffers because of Tom. And know Harry has to deal with his parents. I mean, they wen't from dead fighting Tom to alive adoring him. Hard to manage, I think.
On a side note, I actually like the Malfoys a lot. Cause even if their actions are more than questionable, they still have this family bond you don't find with the Lestranges or other Purebloods, and the way they try to balance it out with their duty as purebloods and death eaters really makes me empathize with them . Just saying, don't know why.
Neville as the chosen one...just odd. I mean, with the toad and the remember all....odd.
Wait, in the short amount of time he left, Voldy managed to kill Dumbledore, loose his body, possess a guy and come back? What an idiot! I agree with Hermione does he ever learn? If he did, he wouldn't have cast an Avada in book 7, and things may have gone as in "The bittersweet taste of victory" (good story, congrats to Nerys) !*What do you mean, "wishfull thinking"?*
Tom is here...Tom is here, and Hermione is gone...they traveled through time again....Why do you do this to me! *leaves crying*

Oh my....well, where should I begin?

Great update, content and length-wise! It's actually pretty amazing with just how bloody much (pardon for sounding like Ron... *shudders*) you come up with in such a short time! You must certainly be keeping track of your key plot points quite closely indeed...if not, then you're simply a plotting genius *hehe*
I discovered your update at the most perfect time possible, actually! Imagine me, dragging my tired arse home on a Friday night and then discovering the very-much anticipated Chapter 50 of Somewhere in Time! With no further ado, I grabbed a glass of wine and had the most enjoyable 15-20 minutes of my day then... *dreamy smile* )))

Of course, I couldn't simply stop at that. The next day I decided to reared the whole story from top to bottom one more time; and I finally discovered something that I've so stupidly missed before!!! I know for certain now that there was a traitor within the trio's midst in 1944/1945... and it was Gareth. Alright, if it isn't him, I'll probably sound very foolish now but I shall take that risk nonetheless! What drew my eye was the chapter where they confess that they are time-travelers, and in the middle of the conversation concerning Tom Riddle's future identity and the Death Eaters, Gareth "inconspicuously" scratches his arm over his sweater...his LEFT arm, that is... Do I get a cookie point? Some dough, mayhap? *bats her eyelashes innocently* bwahaha.

Even though I was just a tidbit disappointed in the lack of conversation/action (!!!) between Hermione and OUR Dark Lord, I had the time of my life! You weave a very intriguing and complicated plot with an ease that keeps astounding me. Bravo!

Looking forward to the rest with held breath! )))

Ah well, hopefully Hermione will make it all better in more ways than one AND this new Tom will. . . . Be slightly more pleasant. *snort* Yeah right, I take that back. I hope he continues on with Voldemort's silent reign of terror with the reluctant Hermione. :D

Ooookay. Haha. Well, first I thought that it was a bit much tell than show in the begining of the chapter, but then when I read the last of the chapter, I realised that to actually hear Voldemort's and Hermione's argument would be quite unnecessary since it wouldn't matter since they are know going back to the past again. I wonder what time they will end up in... hm... his school-time again or later? It would be interesting if they appeared later. Tihi. But baaah, boring that Harry, Ginny and Draco have to tag along again. They are only getting in the way of all the smut between Hermione and Tom!
HA! I knew it was Voldemort who sent them back in time. It will be interesting to find out how he did it, though. Very interesting indeed.
