    I just wanted to say your story made me cry. I kept hoping that they would fine a different way to save Severus, then Hermione dying, but that did not come to be. You wrote a very beautiful story though. Thank you for sharing this.

    Vampire Snape was wonderful, remorseful yet dangerous. I love how he was basically invading her dreams of him, enveloping and luring her with their history. Seems like something a vampire would do, that kind of nefarious seduction of the mind and body. (how very anne rice of you) I will admit that I did not see this ending coming, it makes perfect sense and when you think about it it does in fact seem like the road that would be taken, but I suppose I imagined that things would all work out in the end for our lovers. How very deliciously sad that it didn't, my heart broke and yet it was truly the perfect ending for this so I am conflicted. (In the best way) I've read quite a few of your stories at this point (5-6) and I must say that I've enjoyed them all, I plan on reading the rest of them as well. Looking forward to new stories

    Did it really have to end like this?
    I may sound childish, but I'm still too emotional from having just finished reading the story. It was beautiful, have no doubt, and in a way the ending fitted... just... with all the pain and tragedy in the world I like to see a happier ending in a fictional story.
    After his sufferings, Snape deserves some happiness and you were most cruel to let him live knowing it's because she died. I know it's just a story, but still. Now my emotions are getting the better of me, so I'd better finish here ;)
    Thank you for the wonderful, albeit incredibly sad story. Thank you especially for sharing it with us.
    Hoping that your next story would be as good as this one (maybe just with more cheerful ending) and wishing you and your muse all the best,

    I just wanted to say, I've read all of your work here, if there is more out there, please let me know.

    As for this story? I cried like a baby through the final moments of Hermione's life, and then made my husband hold me afterwards so I could finish reading the rest. This was so beautifully written. The imagery painted in my minds eye as I read from beginning to end has been colorful. I'm left breatheless in moments and hanging at the edge of my seat through the rest, and even long after the story ended I had hoped you had more, like some strange sort of reincarnation tale. Strange I know, but I had to share. Thank you for an excelent tale of love and sacrifice.

    Again, you are awesome. I truly hope you consider writing as a profession if not at the very least a side job!just discovered this one and I will now be scrolling through all of your COMPLETED ;) stories. I can't wait to find out what happens, I hope you have a trick up your sleeve for our lovely Hermione, but if not I hope you write the scene of the blood transfer at least through Severus's nightmares. I tip my hat to you and hope all is well!

    *sigh*. Cliffhanger. Well, I'm so glad I checked back on this story, it had been a while since I'd popped in to see if you'd updated, and lo and behold!
    Don't apologize for writing a dark fic; if everyone wrote floofy romances all the time, I'd sit here and dry heave all over my laptop. Fluff has it's place, so does a dark fic. Especially one as well written as yours

    Well, I don't see how people can be shrieking at you for this chapter when the one before so clearly indicated that Hermione was going to sacrifice herself for Severus. Her damned noble Gryffindor sense of honor and obvious love for him and duty for others would have risked herself in her own mind, no questions asked. I love all of your stories and love the very unique way you weave bits of the story here and there throughout the tale. It brings us forward even as it takes us back in time. It is a truly unique style o0f writing. Damn you, I read this all in one go, for-going my homework. That good!!! Truly! And coming from a woman who is picky about her Hermione/Severus ships, that is, indeed, praise coming from me LOL. Thank you for sharing your wonderful tale with us. As a person who updates at odd intervals herself, I will never chastise another writer for the amount of time it takes to get the next one up. Life comes first! Keep writing you are truly talented!!!!

    I don't suppose I'll be as lucky as Albus and get my answers in the morning??? LOL, wow, short but a really powerful chapter. Poor Severus. I am assuming - hoping really - that Hermione is not exactly dead, but rather cursed as Severus was when she found him? And that there will be a cure at some point in the future? Because, damn, poor Severus just seems to become attached to a woman and she goes and dies on him. Poor guy.

    Ah well, good chapter and really looking forward to Albus' answers in the morning.
