i understand harry's point of view. just because he's the father doesn't mean that harry should trust him. he hasn't been fair in the beginning. he has been so horrible that i wanted to punch him so badly just because he thought harry was james son. just because snape is sorry doesn't mean that all is forgiven just like that. he didn't forgive james, surius or remus. why should he be forgiven? i really think that snape should learn from his mistake. he needs to learn a little humility. he should understand how hurt harry has been by his own family and that it's hard for him to trust an adult, especially family. if i were harry i would have done the same thing as him. i would try to minimize my interaction w/ him. it's so easy for everyone to forget what snape has done to harry in the past, remember when he needed (really needed) to learn occlumency. also imagine being verbally abused daily, imagine being provoked but not being able to do anything about it because you can be expelled from the only place you call home.

Maybe Snape can have him committed. I can't remember does everyone know about their relationship yet?

Man, talk about stub-born! *rolls eyes*

On the one hand, Severus is right. Harry won't
be able to learn the theory or problem solving
properly, if he depends too much on that book.
Though he could have asked in a different/Slytherin
    way.

On the other hand, Severus was wrong for even trying
to get HArry to talk about his childhood, when he knows
    how the boy feels.

He should have waited until talking about past lives
would have been comfortable in the foreseen future,
    regardless of the subject.
